The price was too high. They should stipulate that México won’t let you rent a car if you don’t purchase insurance with them. So I ended up paying more for the insurance for what I payed for the car.2.0 Poor

The vw is a dependable little car but very low to the ground, with any load in trunk it would scrape going over topes. Not Europcar fault but the insurance rates due to no foreign insurance being accepted are insanely high.4.8 Mediocre

Car was ready on time. Car was swapped out when we came back for a problem.Cons:
Our first car had several scratches, to the point where I felt europcar doesn't maintain their cars and simply charges customers for scratches which they never repair. Secondly, our first car needed an oil change after we had only driven it 30km. The staff did provide us with a new car, but on this car the staff failed to put on a front license plate and didn't tell us this was a problem nor did they note this in the contract. Upon returning the car we were blamed for the missing front license plate until we produced photos showing it was gone already upon picking up the vehicle. Bad experience!!2.0 Poor

We got there at 3pm and it took the lady workin there one hour to help one customer that was as ahead of us. Our reservation was for a small suv that was going to be $100 for 4 days. They wanted to charge us $330 for insurance!!! Price Paine had the insurance at $40 for silk covage and they did not except that price. They also did the same thing to the cuspmter in front of us. We ended up renting with hertz for $120 for the same car with full insurance.5.2 Fair

we reserved a car for 2 days in La Paz BCS, Mexico. when we checked in at ACE rentals there was no car available due to high demand during the Holy Week. We tried to get our money back but did not succeed. Calling Europe from mexico is not so simple with restricted cell phones.2.0 Poor
