I did not like that when I returned the car in Innsbruck no one was at the counter and every other car rental outfit had a representative there. Hertz said they were open till 6pm, I was there just after 5pm (and my rental wasn't due until 9pm). Would be much nicer to check out with a person.2.0 Poor

horrible! the employees badly need customer service training. they were shouting and accusing other car rental companies. they refused to give me the car after waiting for almost an hour. they had a subjective opinion on my documents: I presented a passport and bank card from different countries because I live in 2 different countries but they did not understand this. I have been using these documents or the past 3 years across the world and never had an issue!6.8 Okay

We asked for a 4wd and even rang up to confirm that the vehicle was, and was told YES.......But it wasn't, found out when stuck in Kuhtai with a young child at 10.30 on Sunday 21st Feb, not impressed. Would suggest brookers ie Kyak and car trawler have the correct info to hand, as this caused a lot of annoyance and concern at the time...Avis

We checked in to Avis expecting the car we reserved online, and rudely told us our reservation was cancelled, which we never did. Didn’t offer reason how that happened or any effort to help us out!! Just told us it was cancelled and they had no more cars available. Really put us in a bind with 3 kids in a foreign country.8.4 Very Good

Good quality car hire, but staff could be more friendly/helpful. Tried to sell me satnav when car already has it fitted. Didn't explain very clearly where car was.
