Did not like the service and we dropped off the car 1 hour after the 24 hour period and they would not prorate the rental and charged us the full day. They claimed they could not adjust or prorate the daily rate. Only they believed the lame excuse. Would not recommend it to anyone.

SixT did not have the car I requested. They used high pressure selling to force me to upgrade to a bigger car. they also pusejd me to buy additional insurance. Now I have returned the car about 36 hours back. I still do not have a receipt for the additonal services / insurance. My credit card has a hold for higher amount. this has not been resovled yet. I do not know what was my final cost of rental.

We booked and needed customer service to revise the booking but could not reach anyone. Consequently, we canceled the reservation and booked with Enterprise. That may have been going from fire pan to fire, but that is a tale for another time.

The car was very nice and got great gas-mileage. The drop off was very easy.The pick up took a little too much time. There were other charges that were not included on our initial rental when we booked online, including an excessive insurance coverage that supposedly allowed us to enter into Bosnia (while visiting croatia), however there was no payment necessary when we crossed the border - they didn't even ask for car information. This should have been disclosed ahead of time, and should have been better explained if this was required or suggested.

We were given a price online that we paid in advance which we were led to believe was the total cost, including insurance. Upon picking up the car, we had to pay more than twice what we had already paid.

The agent who helped us did an excellent job. Her name was Dragana. She convinced me to pay extra for the insurance and upgraded vehicle, when I don’t think I have ever done that before. She also was very helpful with providing some recommendations for places to visit during our stay in Croatia.Everything went smoothly and for my first time renting with Sixt, I had a very pleasant experience.

Everything was good on the rental side - could have given us the drop off address - it was at a different airport. And we went to the wrong location first.The current drop-off location in Budapest is a very long walk to the terminal. It looks like it might be a temporary location as there was another lot under construction that we walk through. I think there should have been a shuttle.

I did not buy insurance from them and they ripped me off by saying I damaged a wheel rim, which I did not. When I returned the car, the guy went right to the rim....
