9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owner/operators were very friendly and helpful. The meals were wonderful and they always made sure we had water and snacks for the days of sightseeing and wine tasting
Cons: The adjoining road was at times a little noisy but it did not keep us up at night
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love Embrace Calistoga! The location is great, there are a lot of wine tasting rooms and restaurants nearby that you can walk to. Chris and Brent are fabulous hosts, they made us feel welcome the moment we checked in. Their wine and cheese night is so fun and we got to meet the other guests. The rooms are nicely decorated and we loved every detail. Breakfast the next morning exceeded our expectations, we’ve never had a 4 course breakfast before and the food was nothing but delicious! 10/10 recommend, I promise you will have a relaxing fun time here! :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the ambiance and the Chris and Brent were wonderful hosts. The afternoon wine and cheese was a nice touch. Breakfast was beautifully done!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Brent and Chris are the consummate hosts - great experience, even with bushfires raging!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: No review could do justice to the way Brent and Chris treated me and my family during our stay. They are superb hosts, their hotel is a jewel and Calistoga was the right place to stay in Napa Valley. Breakfast is some treat, and the wine and cheese afternoons are the cherry on the pie if you stay at Embrace. If you are planning on getting to know Napa, taste good wine and eat properly, do stay at Embrace and ask as many questions as you have to both Brent and Chris.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bret was absolutely amazing and the house is beautiful. The hospitality was the best I have ever had. I will not stay anywhere else in Calistoga.
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We are not normally bed and breakfast types, maybe because we have been disappointed a few times for various reasons I won't go into. But, Embrace Calistoga is exceptional in every way. We are pretty picky about things, and Brent and Chris hit a home run!! . . . they are so friendly and welcoming, they truly enjoy what they do. I loved the attention to detail like the bed linens, robes and lotion. Very quiet, clean and comfortable room. The wine and cheese in the early evening is a really nice touch, but the 'sit-down' breakfast is the most delicious experience ever and one I won't forget. Homemade and unique. Feel like we dined at a michelin star restaurant!!
Cons: nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were welcomed by Kate! She was wonderful and friendly. The cottage was adorable. I loved that all the cottages were separate and not connected. All had a deck in front with table and chairs, umbrella and a chaise. The room itself was very roomy. Space for sitting and space for eating. Bathroom was a good size as well. Comfiest robes ever! The bed was comfy too! Cute little add ons, like Madeline’s in the coffee cups, Calistoga Roastery coffee. Complimentary water bottles. A couple of mandarin oranges and a couple of chocolates not the table. Kate comes by in the morning with a breakfast in a basket to your door. She knocks. You open the door and there you go! OJ, cut up fruit and delicious warm pastries. Jut right to get you going in the morning. Overall I definitely recommend this place to anyone staying n Calistoga or nearby area.
Cons: Everything about the property was great. Would have liked to have a pool and a jacuzzi available but it is just not that kind of a place. A bit of a walk to town but better to drive the less than 5 minute drive than to try to navigate the busy street you have to cross. It is very doable though. Maybe not at night.

Pros: The homemade breakfast every day was a treat to look forward to. I loved having a different meal each day we were there. French press coffee on the table was another wonderful surprise. I appreciated the complimentary wine in the afternoon and also free, cold, water bottles to help ourselves to as we headed out for the day. Off street parking behind the property was nice
Cons: This was not a problem for me, but the inside stairs up to the second level are steep. If you have a problem with stairs, choose a first floor room.

Pros: Centrally located. Very nice pools. Staff was nice.
Cons: Not really.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The people were nice.
Cons: My daughter slipped down a flight of wet tiled stairs on her back. She was bruised everywhere, sprained wrist & whiplash.Someone working there saw the whole thing. they put a slippery sign outside & basically ignored the whole thing. I m so upset.
6.3 Good
Pros: The pools & Fire put
Cons: Noisy neighbors upstairs. Heard every step they took all day & night. Also mini frig in the room doesn’t work.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The heated pools were great. You need to book early for the spa services. Mud bath was fantastic! Staff was superb! The pool area ambiance is beautiful with grape vines growing on the trellises. You can barbecue or cook in the kitchenette, if you’d like. A block away from the quaint Main Street near shops and restaurants.
Cons: Too many noisy children and I work with children for a living. But not when you’re at a place that touts Relaxation as its number one purpose? The prices are a little high and the extras a little skimpy.
7.0 Good
Pros: The pools are definitely great. The rooms had been updated so they felt modern, the bed is very nice. I liked that there was a mini-fridge, microwave, and stove available. It was a good place to bring kids.
Cons: The snack bar at the pool was was cash only, not many snacks besides popsicles, chips, candy, & soda. You couldn't bill it to your room. The front desk was a little rude at checkout, plus $5 per person for pool access the day of checkout.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was very good, and of course I will come back again.

Pros: Wonderful pools and fire area with long opening hours (great for a late night glass of wine). I could float in the warm poor for hours! Great location in downtown Calistoga Very comfortable King room with kitchenette Comfy robes and outdoor bbq areas a plus Will definitely return and would recommend

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Massages were awesome and multiple different temp pools. The robes were great!

Featured amenities include a business center, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Planning an event in Calistoga? This cottage has facilities measuring 450 square feet (42 square meters), including conference space. Limited parking is available onsite.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I liked the fact that you have your own little cottage, feels more like a home than a hotel. The bed was super comfortable and I like the fact that there was a wood burning fireplace. The room and bathroom was spacious, it had a jet tub and dual sink vanity. The breakfast included was yummy- the quiche and smoothies were a perfect way to start the morning.
Cons: There isn’t much about the property that I didn’t like, but the location is a bit far from downtown Napa and located at the very north end of Napa Valley, so we had to drive a bit to get to some of the vineyards and restaurants. Calistoga is a cute little town, but there isn’t much to do at night. This is a perfect location is you’re looking for a quaint relaxing trip. I’d also consider remodeling the interior decor to something more modern and brighter.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, we walked to all of the restaurants. Very friendly staff. We loved the 4 to 6 wine pairing. We will only stay here in the future.
Cons: Loved it all!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was VERY accommodating, especially Alma! I was able to shower 3 hours after checkout time because I completed a century ride and couldn’t get back before normal checkout. Alma even warmed up a quiche and gave me fruit and coffee cake for lunch as a courtesy
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bed was great, the room was clean and I enjoyed the wine and cheese in my room on the first day. The distance was far from Napa , esp with traffic ... I liked the peacefulness of the area.
Cons: Few restaurant choices. Far from wineries, breakfast could have started at 6:30...
7.5 Good
Cons: Breakfast was more continental style where other places are gourmet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay. Private. Well maintained and great location
9.0 Excellent
Cons: I didn’t like that ended up paying quite a bit more because of booking through booking.com versus directly to the cottages. Friends got a better rate! I emailed booking.com but never heard back
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Convenient parking. Beautiful setting
Cons: Norhing

Pros: Very clean, king bed was very comfortable and staff helpful and courteous! Hotel pool and hot tub were very relaxing and clean and hotel grounds were well kept! Hotel location was great and near town amenities and great wineries.
7.5 Good
Pros: Bed great! Shower great! No spa tub in my king bedroom which was the reason I reserved the room. Breakfast awesome! Waffle mix, scrambled eggs(2kinds), decaf and regular coffee. Great breakfast!
Cons: Price I paid for the night not worth it for such a simple room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good daily changing breakfast. Price was good compared to other surrounding accommodations. Personnel was super helpful and friendly. And you get free tickets for Calistoga shuttle.
Cons: I do not think in any other location this hotel would be ~350+ USD per night. Other weird thing is that checkin only starts at 4pm (late) but checkout is 11am and even late checkout was only at noon.

Pros: Our entire stay was wonderful, from the extremely comfortable beds to the fresh pastries and coffee each morning, restaurant recommendations, etc. The renovations they are continuing will only make it better. But what makes Brannan Cottage Inn so special is Eden, the Inn manager. From the moment we arrived to our last day, she was attentive to every detail. We would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you Eden. You helped make or family vacation very special.
Cons: There was a bit of construction going on, due to renovations. But, the Inn did everything in their power to make us comfortable.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and amazing food.
Cons: We had an amazing room, but was right off the kitchen and the A/C was a little noisy, but would stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nick [great breakfasts!] and Gillian are wonderful hosts. Inn has a wonderful terraced garden with multiple places to sit and enjoy breakfast, a glass of wine, or a good book. In the main room, there was plenty of coffee/tea, wine, etc to enjoy with a scone, etc. Easy walking distance to quaint downtown Calistoga with multiple restaurants and stores to keep you occupied. Try the Cheer Bar for a tasty ice cream treat.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic breakfast with imaginative menu. Great common sitting area for convivial evening with fellow guests.
Cons: The property would benefit from an upgrade to some elements such as triple glazing as it is sited at a junction to a main road.

Pros: Breakfast was fantastic, staff very accommodating
Cons: Patio door to room didn't lock
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, breakfast and charm
Cons: Bedding had a vinegar smell to it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gillian made an incredible breakfast. Complementary wine was available in the evening. The room was very nicely appointed and clean. The bathroom was newly remodeled in my judgement and beautiful. Had a mini frig and flat screen TV. The grounds were beautiful and had many tables and chairs for guests to use. Lots of little deck areas that were nice for enjoying the outside. Restaurants and fun shops were walking distance from the hotel. I highly recommend this place.
Cons: I have zero negatives
7.9 Good
Pros: Cute right walking distance to town great breakfast wines they served 4-6 wonderful very accommodating
Cons: It’s not by vineyard like it looks like you can walk in yes there vineyards close by but the inn is not in a vineyard no tv in rooms mattresses very uncomfortable if I hadn’t prepaid none refundable I would have changed property because it was throwing my back out we had 3 people in a room for bed and breakfast which isnt there fault thought the room would be big enough to accommodate too small for 3 people 3 bed like a futon just off the floor hard as a rock like I said pillows and beds all subjective especially after 50 they need to spend on new mattresses
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Great service from the staff. Excellent breakfast overall.
Cons: We had a guest who was vegan and the options were limited. What was available was excellent though.

Pros: Very charming. Very clean.
Cons: Staff was not very positive. Very strange way about behavior
7.1 Good
Pros: Clean and spacious rooms, nice cosmetics.
Cons: The hotel is right next to the road so you can hear the cars during the night, it is not easy to sleep. The fireplace is not real - it is with artificial fire of light.

Pros: Bed linens.
Cons: Bathroom very small and very low water pressure.

Pros: Everything else!
Cons: Room was on the small side
10.0 Excellent
Pros: LOVED! such a lovely stay in Calistoga. Super clean, so comfy, really lovely.
Cons: Breakfast- so wasteful with so much single use plastic! Use reusable plates and cutlery, you’re an amazing hotel and this is sad to see.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cute spot, easy walking distance to downtown Calistoga, free shuttle to lots of local wineries.
7.5 Good
Cons: Wish they offered more gluten free options for breakfast and an evening wine tasting or happy hour of some sort
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The atmosphere is lovely and the location of the property makes it easy to walk around town to restaurants and shops. The staff is VERY friendly. It was nice of them to offer a discount because of the PG&E power outage.
Cons: I didn't like the PG&E power outage, of course, but that's not the management's fault. They did their best to accommodate the guests. Because our room was in a building that was fully electric, there was no hot water available for showers.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is very good for a continental Liked the design of the property. Rooms are beautiful
Cons: Maybe include a better shower. Like the jacuzzi spa bath but a nice good strength waterflow shower would be a nice addition. There is enough space
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice room. Good heavy continental breakfast (with yogurt, granola, hard boiled eggs, etc). Nice jacuzzi tub in our room, walking distance from great restaurants, shops, tasting rooms downtown.
Cons: Mini Fridge would have been nice. Otherwise it was amazing!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room (Artist's cottage) with hot tub. Staff friendly and very helpful. Spa is excellent. Try one of the couples massage/mud bath options - fabulous!
Cons: Parking can be difficult, especially at weekends. We were lucky but others did struggle to find parking.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were phenomenal and accommodating. The room was so cute and we enjoyed being on the Main Street where we could walk and shop.
Cons: Parking was difficult sometimes. I think each room should have a designated parking space.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location.
Cons: Coffee machine was awful. Nice idea but only expresso shots were offered. Why not just put in Keurig pod machine for simplicity and convenience.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: He location was great!
Cons: But I was disappointed with the room, it was kind of 'old and tired' and the black, red and white color scheme was dated and was not relaxing feeling.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location and staff great!
Cons: Property old and a bit run down.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location was good. The poll area looked nice bit we did not use it. Same with the spa.
Cons: No elevator, little parking which was on an alley. Tiny dated rooms.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfectly situated in town and our particular room setup was great; a small sitting area flanked by two separate bedrooms (that were connected via a shared bath). Our adult daughter enjoyed a massage on the first morning and we stopped in at the downstairs pub/bar a couple of times for drinks before dinner.
Cons: The breakfast is minimal and not very good; the pastries were dry and not worth the calories. There is also very limited parking, so we ended up parking on the street several times.
