Car could have been cleaner but it ran perfectly all week. Rental guy tried pushing his insurance on us and told us your insurance wasn’t good. Rental guy wouldn’t let me add additional drivers for free like you promised. He didn’t give us a key, but sent us out to wander around looking for a girl in a red shirt. The return lot had construction and no signs telling us where to park the car so we had to go inside and wait in line.Reviewed 5 Apr 2026

They would not honor the type of car that I reserved. I reserved a compact SUV, I had the reservation confirmation printed out, I even prepaid; they would not honor it. They said I could only get a subcompact economy electric car because I reserved through a third party. They would not honor my reservation as a compact SUV without "upgrading". Very disappointing, I have had issues with the PIE location in the past. I think in the future I will avoid Budget/Avis when booking for that location.Reviewed 23 Jan 2026

Pick up process was ridiculous. I'm not exaggerating--standing outside (not in any type of building or cover) for 56 minutes while they tried to figure out rentals for myself and 7 other customers. Ended up just giving me a size up, was not cleaned well, didn't have record of what fuel level was at, and staff spoke all of 3 words to me. I saw the poor reviews at this location and figured, how bad can it be? Yes I got my vehicle and it worked fine, but the entire pick up and drop off experience was horrible and I do not plan to rent from this brand at this airport again.Reviewed 29 Apr 2025
