a couple of good things going for them, but busine
subway (w/Metrocard machines available) literally one step away; off-street free parking (the only reason I stayed). Actually a decent area compared to many Brooklyn shiteholes. Hate to admit it was reasonably clean (see my negatives on that regard)
mold and mildew in the bathroom, no TV remote. Staff absolutely inflexible about early checkin.. coming in at 4 am, that will be a full day charge - at their inflated (non internet) rate even though they were 20% full when I arrived. Tried to negotiate 1/2 day extra fee, but got a bunch of nope for my trouble. BE SURE to only book through the Internet (30% cheaper), they won't match the internet rate and stated they were cool with paying 15% off of the top to the referring website (that must thrill the owner!) so give 'em what they want!
This place SUCKS!
The location is good.
The whole experience was horrible. This place is dirty and is full of tag names from the ceiling to the floor. Made with lighters and markers. The walls and linens were filthy and I felt unsafe.
Location. Subway is across the street.
I have stayed in this motel three times. I am not going there again. The motel is getting "cheaper" keeping a cost the same. TV - that peace of junk, barely working, should have been trashed long ago. Moreover, there is no a remote control. I complained and a person told me that he knew and that most of rooms didn't have. And they don't care providing remotes. WiFi - I tried all my devices and I couldn't connect to the net. I am not very picky but I am done with this place. It is getting too cheap.
Nice Hotel Subway very close to hotel and it's available over night also. Really very good experience
I liked its location and how close it was to the sub way
I hated the staff and how they treated me. The man at the front desk was extremely rude and tried charing me an extra 65 dollars for checking in 2 hours early. He also screwed up our payment and this caused me to have to get money wired to the city so i could pay for the additional night. Also my car was hit in the parking lot that is covered in camera and when i went to ask him if he had footage he said summer only which doesn't make any sense. You could tell they could care less about the customer then any thing. Also we told the house keeping staff not to clean our room and we came back from being out all day too find all our underwear folded on he bed which is discussing but at least they changed the towels
location was good for the money spent. it was a bathroom and a bed, that is what we needed
kind of dirty, shower did not work correctly, neighboorhood was a little seedy. i reserved my room with a credit card, but payed in cash, they charged my card anyway and now i have to wait 8 days to get my money back
Fast connection with MTA Subway to downtown Manhattan.
Noise from the street night over. Carpet (what's in the name!) looked extremely old and unclean.
I did not like anything, staff, cleanliness, location was all bad. broken furnitures.
This hotel is conveniently placed on the L subway line, when you come out of the station it's literally right there, but make sure you check that the Manhattan bound service is running. Unbeknownst to my friends and I the service was down all weekend while we were there. Fortunately we were able to find an alternate route via the M and J-Z lines, but it made travel in and out of the city take significantly longer than it should have.
The rooms could be cleaner, though that could probably be said about many places. Also, the continental breakfast left much to be desired: a few donuts, pre-buttered bagels, and some coffee isn't exactly offering the greatest choices. Also, make sure you know how to get to the place if you're taking a cab from Manhattan, none of our drivers had ever been out to that area and we had to direct them, luckily we could since we had our phones with Google maps on them.
downtown easy to acces
All Staff had no matters, The room had no cleanless. Was horrible. The Smell was so bad. And the bed was falling apart. We was expecting a little more.
Free parking, light breakfast, price
No facial tissues or toilet paper in our bathroom. Room not very clean. However, for a one night stay, it was okay.
Only negative was the level of outside noise throughout the night....would recommend earplugs
Next to the subway. Good value for NYC.
