Perfect locatuon just one block far from the “Carrera Siete”, the pedastrian street which is the hearth of downtwon Bogota.
The price is really low but the quality of prenises is just fair. My bef sheets were not clean. Breakfast is just fair, in particular the very snall portions served (ex . fruits). The complere prenises would nedd a total remodelation. Staff is kind and helpful.
Location was great.
Cleanliness is so poor. İ saw several hair on the floor and the walls of bathroom. They didn't put any towel to use. We had to ask several times to get the towels and blanket and they brought them at 11 PM. By the way İf you don't know spanish you are in trouble.
Very good value for money, quiet, clean, good location
Breakfast can be better
The breakfast is well taken care of. Also the employees, even when not speaking English, were very helpful and nice.
We had to sleep next to a busy road aswell as a big construction sight. This meant we woke up not later than 7'o clock in the morning. Pretty early for our standards.
I think that the best of all was the people who work there. All of them were friendly and helpful. There are two taxi drivers, Ricardo and Guillermo, who are extremely nice. They'd take you anywhere and they'd complete the journey with what they love of their city and country. Don't spend a lot of money with somebody else. They both are totally worth it. There are three receptionists who try really hard to satisfy the guests. I've read other comments complaining about breakfast however, I had breakfast 4 days in the hotel and all of them were delicious and, at least with beverages, I could have refills. I didn't ask for more food because the portions were enough for me. (3 pieces of bread, butter and jam, 1 dish, juice or coffee or both). Small things you'll enjoy: there's wifi, HD cable tv, hot water. Although, I had to take my shower's in another room.
There was a problem in my room's shower, I never had hot water because the faucet was loose and even though I reported it from the first day, no body ever fixed it. The first time they told me because it was a Sunday and no one was available (in a 5 million city) and rest of the days they didn't even try. This is not the Hotel's fault BUT, HUG BUT, the zone can be very dangerous at night. I chose this hotel becuase it is near to the most famous places in Bogota, but the truth is you will fell unsafe walking around the area. If I ever go back, I'll choose a hotel in a MUCH better zone and pay for a tour or a taxi. Local people from the nearby restaurants told us that the center stores close as soon as it gets dark because Bogota's downtown is dangerous. Thus, my family and I were back to the hotel around 6 pm. Again, this is not the hotel's fault but there are a lot of homless people around.
Boasting a prime location right on Bogotá's heart, this exclusive hotel is the best choice for guests who want to enjoy this stunning region in the most comfortable way. Its location is ideal to reach the main tourist sights of the city, being close to a host of historic, touristic and cultural venues. El Dorado International Airport is just a 25-minute drive from this luxurious establishment. Its classical architecture is the main sign of identity, which features the warm and cosy Spanish style of the 19th century. Refined in design detail, the guest rooms offer a combination of comfort and style, providing all the necessary services and amenities to guarantee a truly unforgettable experience. They all come with Wi-Fi internet to stay connected during the holidays. Ideal for business and leisure travellers alike, this stylish property is the ideal reference point to explore this wonderful city.
