What rental car? I was never picked up at the airport and never got a rental car from Economy. I waited a full hour and nobody showed up to drive me to their off-site location, although that was not initially disclosed. I called them and they knew I was there waiting but the agent was rude and dismissive. I will NEVER rent a car from Economy again nor use any travel site (like Kayak) that sells any rental services from them. I was left on my own in a rough part of the enormous and busy Orlando airport as the sun was setting and night was coming on, a serious threat to my safety. I wondered if this was a scam to get people to prepay without delivering an actual service. Economy and Kayak both should be ashamed for treating a customer this way. I ended up having to pay for Uber to get me to my ultimate destination and then had to rent a car from there.

The rental we were given was not the same category as reserved. They did not have anything else to give us. The apple car play did not work and no one knew how to fix it. We also kept receiving warnings about tire pressure. Staff were friendly and the pick-up/drop-off process was easy.

The experience was easy and quick! The car was perfect for my needs. The only thing that was a “surprise “ was the pressure to purchase for $10 a day to use the transponder in the car . They actually added &12.99 a day! Their prices beat any I looked for and the negative reviews I had read were not the case in my experience! I will definitely use them again.

We arrived on a Saturday and waited over 45 minutes to get our car. The lobby was packed. But a sign in sheet kept everything orderly. Once we got to the counter, the customer service agent was upbeat and very friendly. I expected a level of stress and he did not show any of that. We walked out with a smile. We arranged for a Altima or similar, and were provided an Equinox SUV. The car was spotless. Upon return, it was fast and easy. I needed a ride back to the hotel and they called for a ride for me. The driver was friendly and engaged in pleasant conversation. I would use this company again.

The car we got was nice The main issues we had: - we paid $26 on kayak and then had to pay an additional $47 at the rental facility. They should have been up front about these costs - rental facility was absolutely chaotic.

They forced me to pay for tolls then didn't give me a sunpass to even get through the tolls. It was a scam.

Lousy experience. No rental agreement sent to email even though they were suppose to. Called the provided number to local branch many times over a few days and no one picked up. Tried to extend the rental by a day and couldnt do so online. Went in person to do so and was rejected cos my return flight was later than my car rental. Asked them how then did they manage to rent to me in the first place and they said not sure but not supposed to. What a waste of time.

I wound up canceling my entire rental with Hertz due to very poor customer service. I made my original rental reservation more than seven months in advance. One month afterwards, I called to request a larger vehicle since I would need more room than I originally thought. I knew going into this that I would need to pay more to upgrade. The customer service representative was not polite at all and also told me I could not modify my reservation. After trying to explain and getting nowhere, I canceled and went with National. National was absolutely fantastic. Use them!

correct address would have been great. I was sent to an address for the office that was closed. The other office that was handling reservations for that closed office was around 4 miles away

Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Original location was closed, and I was never informed to go to a different location. Car headlights were misaligned. An employee at pickup told me not to worry about a few scratches and didn't record them on the agreement then at the dropoff I was questioned about what those scratches were and if I caused them.

Pros:

The staff were helpful during check out process. It was closed when I returned on a Saturday afternoon. I called on Monday to verify final amount charged--staff was helpful again and asked whether I was completely satisfied with the rental process.

Cons:

I was surprised when I landed at Orlando (MCO) that this location was not at the airport. That's what made the rental far cheaper. No big deal--I took a 15 min Uber ride to the location which was along the way to Universal and Disney.
