Pros: The location was great, right by the water, within walking distance of the town and the old fishing area. It was beautifully decorated and the rooms were very comfy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were amazing and the ‘light’ suppers very substantial, delicious and saved us a fortune. The lounge areas were especially nice on the ground floor and on the 11th floor. I loved the sofas and would like one.

Pros: The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was incredible and we even got a little breakfast package on the last morning as we had to leave early (just ask reception and they'll sort it out for you). The 'light dinner' included was actually more than a light dinner! They always had soup, a main meal, and lots of salad to choose from. You can take as much as you like but just make sure you eat what you take! With Bergen being a pretty expensive place, this was an incredible perk included with the hotel.

Pros: The location was great, right by the water, within walking distance of the town and the old fishing area. It was beautifully decorated and the rooms were very comfy. Cons: The TVs took up a huge space in the rooms that could have provided more storage and they didn’t work very well or, on some occasions, not at all.

Pros: First things first: Right from the check in through the waiting staff during breakfast and questions concerning the airport shuttle service until the check out the hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They gave me a smiling hello whenever I walked by. Definitely one of the best hotel staffs I’ve seen. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast buffet just had everything one could probably ask for! Organic, healthy, gluten free, veggie,... . The like 5 sorts of “milk” (almond, soy, skimmed, oat, whole) alone went wide beyond expectations. The hotel is located in the beautiful old harbour area of Bergen. The airport shuttle service stops right in front of the building.

So much so, that we requested the same room again when we returned from an internal trips for a couple of days. They also held our bags for this - which was very much appreciated.

The shower did not overflow, the sink was large and deep enough to wash out a few things and the floor was heated so everything dried quickly. It is 100 meters from the train station and a short walk into the center of town, The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with good variety. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Made reservation through third party. Upon arrival the front desk agent told me the reservation was not showing so he made me a new reservation. Not only did he charge me more for the new reservation but I was also charged by the third party. Dispute has received no response yet.

Cons: As of summer 2016, there was construction on the building. A sign in the lobby offered earplugs, but there were none to be found. Also, given that the entire building started rattling at 6:00 am, i don't think earplugs would have helped much.
While the linens and facilities were clean, one of the mattresses in my room looked like it had been stolen from the set of a horror film.

Pros: The view from the room was amazing. We really like the twin beds for the kids, in my opinion, is a better option than a sofa-bed and cot. There was a refrigerate in the room, which was very convenient, especially when you are travelling with kids. The location is excellent. The hotel is located close to the train station and from walking distance of many sightseeing. The hotel keeps your luggage for free.

I made a mistake with my on-line booking and the receptionist made every effort to help me out and solve the problem.
There were free bicycles to use so you could cycle around town.

Pros: The view from the room was amazing. We really like the twin beds for the kids, in my opinion, is a better option than a sofa-bed and cot. There was a refrigerate in the room, which was very convenient, especially when you are travelling with kids. The location is excellent. The hotel is located close to the train station and from walking distance of many sightseeing. The hotel keeps your luggage for free.
Cons: The bathroom floor was not heated , there were any hygiene/toileting products (only soap and shampoo). There was any bath mat, so the bathroom kept wet for a long time after a shower, especially because there was no heating. The room carpet didn’t like to be properly cleaned, and the double bed was small, but comfort. We missed lactose free products at breakfast. The hotel didn’t allow us to do late checkout with no cost. This was a shame, I have been travelling a lot in my life and I was never charged for late checkout.

The entrance to the hotel was uninviting - dirty, stained concrete, looks across at another large building, very little greenery or flowers in a country that usually has spectacular displays.
The only dining facility open during our stay was the bar - open to the lobby. It carpet was soiled and stained.
The huge breakfast buffet included many items and for the entire time we were there it was swarming with people. Tables were not cleared for 20-30 minutes, it was difficult to find a staff person to bring coffee. Most of the food looked mediocre or tired.
Really. Expected more from Radisson. My husband insists we go back to Hiltons.

Cons: The cleaning was done a bit formal, that's why it was a bit dusty under the coach. The room itself has a lot of maintenance marks and I consider as a good idea to do some room renovation. The biggest disappointment is TV has no Internet access neither iOS/Android pairing nor way to connect any mobile device we have with us - as the result my little one not be able to enjoy cartoons on the big screen as he expected.

During my stay the hotel was fairly quiet. Their cleaning staff appear to maintain good standards. Breakfast was reasonably varied (the chefs were kept busy at the weekend: go earlier if in a hurry). They offered a few meats, scrambled egg, potato dishes, cereal and croissants. Some options were available for vegan diners too: various breads, nuts, dried fruits and salad items and fresh fruit (clementines). The range of teas on offer was appreciated, as were the juices and coffee. The bathroom was functional, the shower had good pressure/temperature range. It rained on all days, save for the day I left, so the clothes hangers provided were useful. (This was in December, so it snowed a little too). Bed was comfortable, and had a good-sized tv with a few channels. The mountains surrounding the city are well worth a look, especially Fløyen, which has a cable car leaving from near this hotel. If you follow the gentler winding roads to the top, it takes a few hours at a gentle pace to go up and down. Mount Ulriken also has a cable car (if you choose to climb it -- or any of the other nearby mountains without cable cars -- plan on being out for much of the day). I will consider staying here again when next in Bergen; hopefully I'll get to the fjords next time. For a city of this size it seems quite peaceful, especially compared with European capitals (although I've not really seen Oslo).

Cons: I stayed in a single room, which was a reasonable size but had only a small bedside table (although it did have a chair). The curtain required rather delicate persuasion to open and shut. Not particularly troublesome for most, but a note if you're on the very top level: this is effectively at roof level, so you pass outside briefly to access some room corridors.

Cons: The only thing was, the air condicition or something similar in our room was running day and night and we asked to stop it,but we were said, this is not possible. We were cold, we had the noise the whole night, we had windows to open and we came in winter, so I really had prefered to stop it in the night. We becam ill after that weekend and I really don´t understand, why I can´t stop it during night.

Breakfast was included in the price and was exceptional The beds were the most comfortable we have ever stayed in and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I left my trousers in the room when we checked out and when I returned to the hotel they had them ready for me to pick up.

ROOMS we very comfortable, we had a family room which had a Pullman wall bed included (got us used to what would be on board the Hurtigruten ship!) Lovely decorations, very modern & clean. Approx. 550NOK for a taxi from the airport. Around 400m downhill walk to the Hurtigruten Terminal. Very easy walk from hotel. You can easily explore Began city as well, the fish market, harbor, city center are all easy walking distance. BREAKFAST was incredible, the best buffet breakfast at a hotel I have ever had! Fresh fruits, 4 different types of fish, toast, cereal, nuts, seed, eggs, bacon, cold meats & pastries. GENERAL INFO - check out time is 12:00 so you can relax in your room before checking your bags in at Hurtigruten at 13:00. There are two Scandic buildings opposite each other. Reception desk & breakfast are on the right when coming from airport or ship terminal. Lift available, free wifi, small convenience store section, English speaking staff.

Cons: Everything was good apart from having to cross the road once you had checked in. As it was raining at the time this was a bit inconvenient. this was the only minor problem and ww would certainly recommend the hotel

Cons: It right above one noisy pub, so I'd you land on the wrong side - you'll hear them pretty well. The showers in every room run water all over the bathroomfloor because of uneven floors. It looks pretty run down and it's not all that clean. My first room - the TV was broken. And in my second there was only one small roofwindow that make a lot of noise when in rains. It's also pitched roof and bad lighting which made tasks a bit difficult. The breakfast is dry bread with ham and cheese and a small juicebottle, it is what it is. If the price was different, I wouldn't have expected more.

Cons: The right light at my bed was broken, the left bed was very soft and the shower doors didn't close properly. Just some minor maintenace things I suppose. (Room 418).

Cons: There were drunks fighting in the street outside the window in which I was staying. When I asked the hotel manager that I would be happy to be paid for the night stayed, but would like to cancel my reservation for the upcoming two nights (with full refund as I paid in full in advance) she said I was stupid. The safety concerns were problem enough, but when treated so rudely and poorly by the manager of the hotel it was clear to me that this hotel will not be staying in business given its current management problems.
