10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved their hospitality and the genuine greetings and conversations. The facility is amazing (especially the onsen). I also loved the fact that it is nearby to several malls and also the public transport. The breakfast though, AMAZING.
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, sento, great breakfast and 5 minutes from the train! Amazed at the pillow and pajama choosing niche. Was actually quite impressed with this place and would go out of my way to stay here again.
Cons: Rooms are small but well equipped.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed is comfortable. I also like the onsen.
Cons: The long pillow in the 9th floor where I was assigned was uncomfortable unlike in the 2nd floor where I used to be assigned. The pillows beads were too big create uncomfortable lumps.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location, excellent service, great breakfast, super comfortable bed, reasonable sized bedrooms, loved the selection of pillows, Musashi-kosugi is a very clean and strategic place to stay
Cons: Not much to not like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The onsen to soak away the day's fatigue. Water from the hotel tastes great (both from the tap and the free bottle when you do not request room to be cleaned)! Breakfast is incredible for its spread and quality! Vegetables are delicious and rich in taste unlike what I can get from even Whole Foods USA. They have even their own natto?! Scrambled eggs is the best ever: fluffy and light. Never had one this good even after 10 years in US. Bacon、mackerel etc are freshly grilled on the spot. Guess what? Breakfast comes included with the room price.
Cons: Nothing at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The welcome each time we entered the hotel. Breakfast was great Everything so clean
Cons: Only the pillows already on the beds.-able to change them for more comfortable for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is excellent, the room is clean though a bit tiny, but typical Japan style in mega cities. Connection to all major areas in Tokyo and Narita airport is more than convenient. Would definitely come back for next trip.
Cons: Nothing, everything is better than expected.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The buffet breakfast was fantastic! The room was quite big. The hot bath was excellent
Cons: There was a small boy in the women’s hot bath so it was a bit awkward
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast good, bed is good, air purifier is awesome.
Cons: I think the onset is bit dirty.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed Japanese Breakfast such as Natto, grilled fish and veggie, Miso soup, Japanese pickle. Sauted veggie, etc,. We missed breakfast 2 times because we had to catch the sightseeing tour in the early Morning. All employees were very polite. We were very appreciative their courteous and helpful manners.
Cons: My husband wishes the bacon were a little bet crispy. He also would like to have mocha coffee (coffee and chocolate with heavy cream)- In my opinion, It's too heavy and too sweet for the Morning coffee.

Pros: Very helpful staff. Very close to Railway station. Just 2 stops to Airport . They even offered free shuttle to the airport. Nice quiet residential street
Cons: The rooms are small. It would have been handy to put luggage under the bed
7.4 Good
Pros: Close to Anamori-iinari station, just a few minutes from Haneda
Cons: Check-in was poor - repeatedly and aggressively demanded ID even though I'm Japan-resident (the law changed 12 years ago!)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I arrived at haneda airport around 10 pm and had to stay near the airport. Just two stops away from haneda airport by keikyu line and so close to the station(anamoriinari station) only 2 mins by walk. room was small but good for solo travelers. And staff were so friendly.

With a stay at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kawasaki in Kawasaki, you'll be a 1-minute drive from Tokyo Bay and 5 minutes from Kawasaki Daishi. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a computer station, and dry cleaning/laundry services.
7.9 Good
Pros: 1) Daily cleaning 2) Connection with Family Mart 3) Trouser press 4) Shoe cleaners
Cons: 1) Absence of a wardrobe 2) Water was not provided as complementary service 3) Replacement of toothbrushes everyday was not needed (it was a waste) 4) Absence of drinks in the refrigerator and other snacks in the room 5) Bedside tables on both sides
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The environmental policy to offer free water when I didn't have my room refreshed each day.
Cons: I was in a smoking room - yuk!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very near the train station. Easy to get around. Lots of activity nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. A lot of things available to do if you're staying for longer than 1 day, which was what we were doing.
Cons: The bed wasn't very comfortable. Normally I like a firm mattress, but one night after this one my back was aching. I can't really blame the hotel for this since it's a mattress and that's usually subjective.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good clean hotel
Cons: The lift - every time you used the lifts it would stop at reception on level 2 (even when no one had selected that floor) - if you used the lifts a couple of times a day this is so many unnecessary stops and very rarely were there people getting off on that floor
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Best buffet breakfast in my recent trip. Mainly Japanese food with some sausage, bacon, ham, etc. Food is carefully made. Juices are good with many other choices of drink. Typical Japanese breakfast is served with steamed rice, miso soup, salted appertizer, beans and so on. Restaurant setting is good with three individual booths that if you are lucky you can seat on. Other seats are open setting. Hotel and room are quite old. Sofa is worn out. Room setting is not that user friendly. Booked a more expensive room but the quality is just so so. Maybe you should consider booking the basic one is fine.
Cons: Hotel and room is outdated.
7.9 Good
Pros: Convenient for JR - a short walk to station and shopping/food mall
Cons: Check in on an automated kiosk - prefer a person. But staff at desk was friendly and helpful. Room had space for walking and unpacking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great for visiting Kawasaki and traveling around thanks to nearby train stations. The hotel has a 24/7 convenient store next door (Family Mart). Check in and out were super easy through the automated system. The room itself was more spacious than I expected (compared to other hotel accomodations I have seen in Japan.) The building is secure with keycard access for the elevators and late night front doors.
7.5 Good
Pros: we booked a double room, which a little too small with all our suitcases but great location, lots of shops and restaurants around. Easy access to public transport too.
Cons: no view from the room at least on lower floors
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, no breakfast as we had an early train.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very big room! And the breakfast was very nice as well, lots of different choice and delicious.
Cons: The view from the window was not great

Cons: Value for money, the rooms are well designed but very small.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, quietness
Cons: No air conditioning; the room could be cold enough for us. Could not contrôle the lightings individually.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Close to the station. The staff was very friendly, although I did speak Japanese so that made it easier. It was very clean and was exactly what I was looking for for the night.
Cons: Hard to get to as it’s at the sixth or seventh floor of a department store.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Shower temperature fluctuation
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. It's nice to get off the train and have the hotel right there to rest you're aching feet. Bed was comfy. The staff was courteous and efficient. Elevators arrived within seconds after calling for it. No waiting was nice.
Cons: The entire bathtub was caked with grime. I was able to scratch at it with my nail. To Hotel Molino: Please use an abrasive to easily remove the caked on grime. Disappointed that we couldn't extend checkout even by an hour. When asked, they kindly replied "sorry, no" without checking the books. If you remove your door key from the light switch all electrical power goes out in the room and cell phones won't charge. Woke up to a surprise of zero charge on the phone. Despite my dislikes, the likes won, and I would return again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Quite rooms.
Cons: Beds and pillow not comfortable. Breakfast was below standard one would at least expect fresh fruit instead of tinned fruit something I have not had since the 60's. Did not like the fact you could not open the windows for fresh air.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, right outside the metro, close to so many shops and shopping centres.
Cons: The room was quite compact but for the location and price I can’t really complain.

Pros: Location was very good, 10 minutes walk to 2 train stations, one for JR and the other Keikyu, convenient for traveling into the city. It was also in close proximity to several shopping streets and malls. The staff were extremely polite and were fluent in English. The toilet bowl was amazing, having a seat warmer function and all.
Cons: The toilet was small for me, but its regular size for a Japanese hotel.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was very clean and hospitality was amazing.
Cons: The breakfast menu can have some more items.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Near Kawasaki station. Many restaurants around here.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to train station and shopping, helpful English speaking staff. Room was comfortable (but of course small, which is common in Japan). Easy and quick to get to Haneda airport via train. I would definitely stay there again.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Perfect location for our plans, and staff were friendly and efficient. Decor was good, and everything clean.
Cons: The rooms were tiny. We don't mind small, we were only staying one night, but these rooms were impossibly small. There was literally not enough room to walk by the side of the bed, we had to edge along sideways. We had 2 rooms, one for myself and partner, and one for the kids (16 and 11), and between the two rooms, we struggled to have enough space to store our suitcases - the only place there was enough room to open the cases, was on top of the bed. We stayed out of the hotel until it was time to go to sleep, and left the following morning as soon as we were up and dressed as there was just no space to do anything - we even had to take turns getting dressed as there wasn't enough room for us to both stand at once, and no space in the tiny bathroom to change either - literally less than half a metre square of standing room in there.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location close to lots of restaurants, rail station and a great gaming mall. Staff are very helpful and the rooms had lots and lots of amenities and were exceptionally clean. very cheap. Close to Haneda airport- so handy for a night before a flight.
Cons: The rooms and bathrooms are extremely small. Great for a couple of nights but claustrophobic for longer. Difficult to open a suitcase and walk around it!
7.5 Good
Pros: Near the station and restaurants
Cons: We dont like the size of the room not comfortable and our 1st night of stay aircon is not cool and according to the staff i should open the window till morning to wait for the incharge to change the aircon from heat to cool. We haven’t sleep on that night.
7.1 Good
Pros: Near the station.
7.9 Good
Pros: For vegetarians the menu items were salad and corn soup only. I dint liked that part, as I am a vegetarian. Otherwise stay was good, staff members are very kind, humble and helpful.
Cons: In the breakfast there was almost nothing for vegetarians. If some vegetarian items are included in the menu that would be good.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was the best, very convenient for traveling around because it is really near to metro lines and even the train station.
Cons: The breakfast very rare choices and it’s the same menu for everyday. We stayed for 6 days.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean hotel. Good location close to the station. Recommend.
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a fast booking because I had to spend one night in Tokyo because of typhoon. I used the booking.com rating and didn't look at the details except for the location of the property. The location is well suited for those who travel to/from Haneda airport. There is a public bus which departs every 30 min from the airport to the Kawasaki train station and back. It takes 40 minutes by bus to the station and less than 10 minutes to go from the station to the hotel. The facilities in the room are very good: kettle, fridge, cups etc. There is a microwave in the first floor of the hotel. I stayed one extra night because of typhoon. I managed to stay in the same room. The stuff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: It would be nice to have an access to the iron for those who needs to fix their clothes for some business meetings. Also the breakfast might have been better: some cheese in additional to marmelade would be good.

Hotel Cooju Kawasaki - Kawasaki - Building

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel cooju Kawasaki in Kawasaki, you'll be steps from Tokyo Bay and a 5-minute drive from Kawasaki Daishi. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a 24-hour front desk, and laundry facilities.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room is quite spacious. I like that it has microwave, electric kettle and others that we can use inside. I think the price is quite reasonable (for 3 persons) compared to the price if we booked to capsules hotels or bed bunk accommodations. The nearest train station is Keikyu-Kawasaki which is approx. 10-12 mins walk, depends on how fast you walk, for us its quite far. There are many shops and restaurants near the station which we like, we did some shopping and eating there too.
Cons: On our first day, the room smells smoke cigarette and even on our day 2 to day 4 the smell is still there, but its tolerable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Close to the CBD.
Cons: A bit far from the metro station.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It's close to the train station and to quite a few shops, restaurants and bars. There was heaps of free toiletries available and the rooms has a tv, kettle and fridge. The size of the room was great for an overnight stay
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A big Studio with free movie channel available for 24 hours.
Cons: No covenience store nearby
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The amenities that came with the hotel
7.5 Good
Pros: I had to find the place to stay near Haneda airport so I booked this one as other locations were pretty booked (all flights got cancelled on this day as typhoon was passing). This hotel looked like it was converted from apartment/ dorm type of building so you would see some features that you don’t expect in hotel setting such as small kitchen unit etc. The room was rather spacious which was a nice surprise. The gentlemen who assisted me was not friendly but he was just ok to check me in. All supplies for the room (which you will get what you need at the lobby before going to your room) were great - vaietly of skincare, hair brush, mouthwash, toothbrush and many others including men’s skincare package too. The room had big TV which had Hulu (nice!), coffee table and sofa and desk.
Cons: Location itself was so-so.. it is across from Adult theme bar (sorry I don’t know what else to call) so you see a couple male employees always being outside to grab customers from street. There are a couple big signs outside- nothing visual but it gave me sense of somewhat unsafe(??) as I can read Japanese. But they won’t bother you especially if you are foreign or female for sure. For this reason, I wouldn’t come back to stay with my child as I had to explain what this place was all about.
7.5 Good
Pros: OK, comfortable for my group of 4.
6.7 Good
Pros: Nice staff
Cons: Location is not good
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It feels like home. Not just a simple hotel. You're actually feel like you're inside a house you rented.
Cons: Nothing.
7.1 Good
Pros: Big enough room for 4, self service laundry down stairs in case of need.
Cons: Very small bathroom, noisy air conditioning, take ear plugs with you.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel & Hostel On The Marks Tokyo Kawasaki in Kawasaki (Minamimachi), you'll be a 1-minute drive from Tokyo Bay and 6 minutes from Kawasaki Daishi. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Convenient hostel for staying near Tokyo, it takes between 20-50 min depending on which part of Tokyo you want to go. Also close to Yokohama. I already stayed in Kawasaki before so it was no problem for me to be not in central Tokyo. The area in Kawasaki has everything what’s needed to shop and eat out, two train stations are close. From and to Haneda or Narita is also very easy, Haneda is right around the corner and to Narita you can get easily using the express bus from Tokyo station (20 min from Kawasaki station). It is a hostel with a lot of privacy, not that easy to meet new people if you’re looking for this especially. But in the lounge area some people do hang out or wait for their laundry, so you could probably start conversations if you really want to. Towels and bathroom amenities are provided, laundry machines can be used via coins, dryers too. The lounge also has a microwave and a fridge.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very clean with good facilities and welcoming staff.
Cons: Only downside was the bedrooms got very hot and stuffy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location staff showers toilets spotless room comfortable
Cons: Breakfast was just curry but it smelt lovely just to early in the day for me !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very comfy place to stay, live music at nights!
7.0 Good
Pros: The lounge area was nice and clean however, I wish it was more lively and social. Despite the language barrier, the hotel staff was accommodating and pleasant to deal with.
Cons: The cleanliness of the room could use some work. There was a ceiling vent or speaker grill that was filthy and full of dust and was never wiped down.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: An awesome place that keeps a trip to Tokyo affordable. The whole place is nicely designed and the rooms are super quiet. The bar downstairs serves great food and craft beers from around the country. Soap, shampoo, and toothbrushes are all included. 20 minutes from Tokyo station if you catch the right train.
Cons: Breakfast was a little weak - it's a self serve Japanese curry. It was really a game of luck if you'd be able to fish out any real food that wasn't just sauce. There are only two electrical sockets in the room - so bring an extension if you know you'll need to charge more than two things. Hard to get back to if your out super late in Tokyo.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They spoke English well
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were approachable and the whole hostel had a really spacious/oraganized feel.
Cons: I wouldn’t say things were “dirty”, but they could have been a lot cleaner. The showers had seemed to be uncleaned for quite some time the evening I arrived; kind of mold-y/mildew-y. They were cleaner the next day, but still not super clean. My private room could have also used a more thorough vaccuming; there was a lot of hair all over the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds were very comfy, everything was extremely clean and bright and modern. Great set up in bunks with lock boxes, lights & plugs and lots of space. Close to huge train station, air con and WiFi were good and water pressure in showers was excellent. Staff friendly & helpful and a long list of extra amenities that you could get for free/small fee in the lift including free bike hire & pyjamas! Towel, facecloth, toothbrush & paste also provided in bunk for you on your arrival.
Cons: Very small thing, didn’t find the pillow too comfortable however I’m sure staff would have offered me an alternative if I had raised this.

Pros: The location and proximity to the rail station. Also near restaurants, bars, shops etc.
Cons: It was fine for a budget type hotel, nothing we didn't like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was good and room was spacious
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I reserved a semi-double room but was told that we will be using a double room, which is great! It's bigger as compared to the rooms of the other hotels ive been to. Doesn't look like your usual hotel. We also liked the fact that its not that far from the station and that there are lots of establishments (mall, restaurants) around. And the vicinity is a quiet one.
Cons: The room and some facilities look old, but still functional.
7.9 Good
Pros: Easy to access from station and more space in room
Cons: A bit old but Ok
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Not value for money
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is about 10 mins from station so even with luggage not bad. Very close to hundreds of bars and restaurant. In fact the hotel has a restaurant below but we didn't try it. Staff are helpful and kind. Big TV which I plugged my laptop into was very useful. WiFi was good. Decent kettle, Domino's delivered to the room door easily, ordered online and there it was. Decent space in the room itself and vending machines with soft drinks and alcohol available 24/7.
Cons: To be honest there wasn't much we didn't like. Maybe wish the bathroom had conditioner. The lift is a little small so if lots of luggage multiple trips needed. Shame no view from the window.

Cons: The check-in time is 3 pm, but the check out time is 10 am. I have booked one day, 24 hours. That’s to say it will took 5 hours to clear the room?!
