Pros: The room was small but very efficient with plenty of room for baggage. The bathroom was well designed. The shower did not overflow, the sink was large and deep enough to wash out a few things and the floor was heated so everything dried quickly. It is 100 meters from the train station and a short walk into the center of town, The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with good variety. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: There are some glitches because it is new (or newly refurbished). The elevators run a little slowly and the door locks have to be checked because they don’t always lock when you leave.

Cons: Water was warm...not really hot enough to look forward to morning shower.

Pros: Linens were clean, simple but adequate furnishings.
Cons: As of summer 2016, there was construction on the building. A sign in the lobby offered earplugs, but there were none to be found. Also, given that the entire building started rattling at 6:00 am, i don't think earplugs would have helped much. While the linens and facilities were clean, one of the mattresses in my room looked like it had been stolen from the set of a horror film.

Cons: Made reservation through third party. Upon arrival the front desk agent told me the reservation was not showing so he made me a new reservation. Not only did he charge me more for the new reservation but I was also charged by the third party. Dispute has received no response yet.

Pros: The food/breakfast was absolutely excellent - one of the best I have ever had at a hotel. Plenty of choice and really good quality food. I made a mistake with my on-line booking and the receptionist made every effort to help me out and solve the problem. There were free bicycles to use so you could cycle around town.
Cons: Room service menu/bar food could have been better.

Pros: I had to stay overnight in Bergen due to flight snafus, and found this place on booking.com at a quite reasonable rate. I was pleased with everything--the location, a half block from the fish market, the hip-ish decor, clean state of things, a hot breakfast cooked up fresh in the morning, nice and helpful folks at the front desk. thumbs up all the way around.

Pros: We chose this hotel based on its proximity to the train station. It is a large facility with 20+ floors and good views over the city.
Cons: Very disappointed we were not able to have dinner in the top of the facility because it's closed on Sunday. The entrance to the hotel was uninviting - dirty, stained concrete, looks across at another large building, very little greenery or flowers in a country that usually has spectacular displays. The only dining facility open during our stay was the bar - open to the lobby. It carpet was soiled and stained. The huge breakfast buffet included many items and for the entire time we were there it was swarming with people. Tables were not cleared for 20-30 minutes, it was difficult to find a staff person to bring coffee. Most of the food looked mediocre or tired. Really. Expected more from Radisson. My husband insists we go back to Hiltons.

Pros: The hotel was convenient to pretty much everything within a 10 min walk. Room was spacious. You get the value for your money. The airport bus drop off and pick up was close by. The room had double set of windows. It killed the road noice from the cobblestone street. Cable had quite a few American shows.

Pros: I liked the location when first booking the hotel, as I thought it would be ideal given its central location. I was wrong.
Cons: There were drunks fighting in the street outside the window in which I was staying. When I asked the hotel manager that I would be happy to be paid for the night stayed, but would like to cancel my reservation for the upcoming two nights (with full refund as I paid in full in advance) she said I was stupid. The safety concerns were problem enough, but when treated so rudely and poorly by the manager of the hotel it was clear to me that this hotel will not be staying in business given its current management problems. Marita Svenskberg (manager of the property) exacerbates solvable problems.
