Pros: My stay was perfect from beginning to end
Cons: Nothing
Good 6.0
Pros: location
Cons: five star hotel has black mold on shower ceiling and hours of restaurant
Okay 4.6
Cons: We were in room 207 and our friends in 507 which cannot in my opinion be classed as an executive room. The room was very, very small making us feel very claustrophobic. We have been travelling with luggage and did not have room to put them apart from on the floor in the corridor leading to the bathroom. Dangerous at night!!!! Plus getting out of bed in the night from the left side of the bed was very hazardous with many obstacles in the way. Opened the curtains to a view of the window opposite. Too much furniture in such a tiny room!!!! Looking at the layout of rooms for fire purposes our room was far inferior to the other rooms on our floor!!!! Given that our rooms were far smaller than all the other executive rooms in the hotel we feel we should receive some compensation and an apology.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great place, will definitely go back again
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Breakfast was lovely.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location, very central, high quality accommodation - bed & bedlinens, large beautifully appointed room, large bathroom with good shower, wifi, amenities. Staff on reception and in restaurant were warm, friendly, welcoming and really knew their individual roles in the hospitality industry.
Cons: Wine list could have been more interesting, else nothing else negative to say.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: the staff
Cons: the room furnishings were a bit worn
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The quality and attentiveness of the staff is exceptional. All the restaurant and activity recommendations were spot on. Hotel employee (one of the Concierge Staff) truly went above and beyond in helping find just the right accommodation.
Cons: Things are a bit dodgy behind the hotel, but Belfast is improving with every day.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great
Cons: All great
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The staff were amazing and bedroom was very nice.
Cons: Trying to park when I first arrived wasn't good, no clear signage where to park car before getting to car park.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of Belfast ! We came for a post holiday visit and it was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The bar features terrific acoustic entertainment . The entry and common areas were beautifully decorated.
Cons: Nothing at all
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A superior hotel in the heart of Belfast. Beautifully decorated at the holidays. Great bar with outstanding food and entertainment

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice staff .lovely bnb
Cons: Too much grey furniture, carpets.walls.curtains.tiles
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Comfy pillows
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Quality of staff and facilities
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Quick check in, friendly staff, room was excellent.
Cons: Building work outside early in the morning but understand this is unavoidable!
Good 7.0
Pros: Good facilities. All you would expect in a hotel room. Breaskfast was of decent quality and quantity - good selection, but was over priced. Staff are polite and helpful.
Cons: The lack of a carpark for the hotel was annoying, though they did have an arrangement with a nearby carpark to give a £3 discount off the price of an overnight stay - it was still £12 down from £15. No real space to store your luggage in the hotel room.

Pros: The woman at the front desk, was very helpful when we realized our car had a flat tire across the street in the parking garage.
Cons: I didn't realize that there was not parking at the hotel and that we had to pay to park in the garage across the street. Other than that, it was a nice stay.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very friendly helpful staff. Extremely large confy bed and good shower. Excellent choice for beakfast.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Staff was very friendly. Gym was very useful. Room was clean if cold even though summer.
Cons: Doesn't use wash clothes.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff location and room
Cons: No
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make our stay special. I highly recommend this hotel.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The sheets, the shower, the lobby, the staff were all wonderful! I will now compare all hotels to the Holiday Inn in Belfast City Centre.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Good Location and nice staff
Good 7.0
Pros: The hotel had a triple room when I was having a hard time finding accommodations. They were a bit further out then we wanted but still easy enough to walk most places.
Cons: We bought the buffet breakfast which was about €15 each. It was not very good and I found the staff to be less than friendly. The neighborhood was also somewhat sketchy
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Central, clean, friendly staff, good amenities on site.
Excellent 9.2
Cons: The heating wasn’t working in our room, when we walked into the room the window had been left wide open so it was quite cold. Staff offered us another room, but as we were only staying one night, we accepted a space heater, which served the purpose satisfactorily!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Room was fab, hotel was fab and breakfast was fresh
Excellent 10.0

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent location!!
Cons: Closer parking would have been nice.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Was very good - no fridge in room and I had insulin injection - bit kept it cool in bathroom in water! A mini fridge would be a good option and offered when you arrive , even at a nominal cost!! Breakfast was really good! I have booked up again for July 2019 as i like the hotel and it's location however it is very expensive!
Cons: The prices for room service is very expensive and then you also have to pay an additional amount on top of price - didn't use it for this reason!! Think with the costs of room breakfast should be included!
Okay 5.0
Pros: The location. Three star hotels are about average and so was this one.
Cons: Needed a printer in case one needs to print off boarding passes.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Room was clean and policies are environmentally pro-active.
Cons: The attached restaurant & bar had weak service.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Good location. Very central for bus and train services .
Cons: Nothing really. I was quite satisfied with everything.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The rooms were updated and clean. It is in a great central location in belfast. We were cycle touring and they had a storage area where we could store our bikes. The staff was very friendly.
Cons: It was unusually hot the night we were there and the rooms did not have A/C and were very warm. We had the window open but with little airflow and the sound of the traffic, we did not sleep well.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Perfect location close to bus station and train station. It is central to everything in Belfast proper. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was hot. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Easy check in, spacious room, easy for a week long stay, warm and inviting
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Location. Steps away from the bus to Dublin airport.
Okay 5.8
Pros: location and staff.
Cons: Three of us stayed and not one of us had a decent sleep, you advertise lovely fluffy pillows in your rooms, and they couldn’t be further from the truth. I’ve added pics for you to view. This is the first time I’ve written a negative review but after paying £135 for one nights stay, excluding breakfast, the very least we expected was to get a sleep! This was not the case, the pillows were nothing short of breeze blocks, a breach in your advertising. I’m quite happy for you to contact me if you wish a further explanation :(
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Chose this property because one of the best Game of Thrones tours -highly rated -would pick people up from in front of their hotel. No parking on premises, kind of annoying, but the facility was very nice. Location, central city, close to many things.
Cons: No parking. However the hotel did comp half of my parking fee at the city center parking garage.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Location Sound proof Windows Staff
Cons: Could be more at breakfast Rooms stuffy

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location, great staff! Room was spacious for 3 people! Enjoyed it very much! Highly recommend
Excellent 9.2
Pros: I enjoyed eating in the dining room. The atmosphere was so relaxed I chatted with strangers. I havent been in Belfast since the Troubles ended. Taxi drivers were chatty and told more of the changes in peace-time. The Europa was so ceentral.
Cons: That one evening I had to eat in the bar. I didnt realise that one had to book ahead at the weekend.
Good 6.5
Pros: Extremely loud party on top floor. Awful noise. Pounding music. Drunks yelling in hallways late into the night. Have not experienced this party noise/vibe since college dorm days. Awful first night. Next night much quieter, but walls are clearly thin as we could hear next door TV clearly until they turned it off around 11pm. Would not suggest staying here on a weekend if parties scheduled. Bring your ear plugs. Included breakfast was very crowded, but food prepared well. Service staff spread very thin, but nice.
Cons: Noise! Party extremely loud on weekend.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Great location arrived by train, Great Victoria Street station immediately adjacent to hotel. Concierge were very helpful in arranging tours. The room was not large but was comfortable and very clean.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location and room layout
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Convient downtown hotel. Helpful staff, great amenities. Historic grand dame.
Cons: Bit pricey.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Our final stay on our trip was perfect with two nights at the Europa. The staff at check in and concierge were extremely helpful and friendly. You cannot beat the location for a fun weekend in Belfast with lots of options for guests within walking distance. Overall, a really great stay.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything about the Europa was 1st class.all was good
Cons: Nothing everything was good
Okay 5.0
Pros: Everything is on ur door step
Cons: Rooms were very tiny didn’t have that much room felf very cramped

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast excellent. Beds very comfortable
Cons: Gardener with leaf blower early in the morning outside our room window
Okay 4.0
Pros: breakfast was not bad but not great Restaurant was OK i suppose
Cons: Very poor building layout, not very inviting Restaurant stated as open Mondays with "surf and turf Mondays" but it was closed, they directed me to the "other" restaurant but still couldn't find it as there was no signs, had to be physically shown the way.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We were very satisfied with the Balmoral Hotel The accommodation was excellent, the food appetising, slick & friendly service We will definitely return & most certainly recommend it to our family & friends
Cons: It was a wee bit of a hike upstairs with luggage but it wasn’t a big issue as we’re both pretty fit for our respective ages
Excellent 8.3
Cons: Quite noisy the night we stayed but overall a lovely hotel with fab staff
Good 7.9
Cons: The walls are very thin. Can almost have a conversation with people in room next door.
Good 7.9
Pros: Great bar food Good choice at breakfast
Cons: Needs a lick of paint here and there
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The bed was very comfy. The staff was friendly and the free breakfast was very good. Lots of choices. The only complaint was there were a lot of young people for a wedding who were loud and obnoxious. Not the fault of the hotel. The carvery on Sunday was amazing. Turkey. Roast beef ham.
Cons: Too many group functions.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff are so friendly and helpful food very tasty and nice and hot we have stayed there a few times while attending Kingsbridge hospital also the taxi driver they use is a gentleman so helpful would definitely recommend it

Pros: super-friendly assistants
Good 7.7
Pros: Good location in the city centre
Cons: Staff were quite food at check in giving a poor check in experience
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Most of the staff were friendly. The rooms were not too small, bathroom was small but efficient and had everything you need, also good wifi. Convenient location as well.
Cons: There was a slight smell in the corridors, didn't bother me much but can be improved. I wasn't aware of any meal deals, but had a 3 course dinner at their restaurant - starters and dessert was great, the mains not so great as they were dry (chicken and burger). There weren't many food options though.

Pros: Location of hotel was very central
Okay 5.0
Pros: The location was the best part of this hotel since it is easily accessable and within walking distance of Belfast's city center, city hall, restaurants, 2 major shopping centers, tour busses, and the Royal Mail.
Cons: No air conditioning with limited air-flow when the window is opened. It's quite miserable on rainy days when outside traffic is nosy leading to a non-relaxing experiance. Staff won't tell you, but you have to make requests for a fan & clothes iron.

Cons: Lighting was poor for make-up. Glad I brought a hand mirror with me. Carpet grubby & badly stained, but no worse than some 3star hotels I've stayed in!!
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Location was ideal as my clients staying at Europa Hotel
Cons: N/a
Good 7.5
Pros: Nice breakfast Good location Cheap
Cons: Very narrow hallways and rooms very tight Shower would not work too well. Very weak flow and luke warm Could not get internet in room
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Renata made us feel welcome, like a big sister extremely helpful. It was my partners b/day she let us have our takeaway in the dining room with a cake wine and candles.........great value, top floor, at the back with a view. Spacious dbl room, in a quiet location only a short walk to Lisburn rd, for wine, Chinese food or fish n chips and cafes and 10mins walk to a Tesco. Also a £4 taxi ride to the central Europa bus station and bus stop on the corner. Renata cooked everyone a hot b/fast a very friendly resident on site host. I felt it was a great stay and good value for the room incl a cooked breakfast. You can park in the back for free. We didn't mind shared bathrooms of which there are 3 all worked well all have heating. I would stay again for the homely feel a big old 3 story budget stay. Thank you Renata and Hilary. Cheers Tim and Shane from Brisbane Australia on our 5 week holiday tour of the whole UK.
Cons: My only complaint the TV in our room had poor signal.
Good 7.9
Pros: A large Victorian House on 3 floors, good breakfast, warm bedroom
Cons: Would have been nice to have more selection of cereals for breakfast, only 3 on show
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Host was absolutely lovely and was very relaxed. Was always available to answer any questions I had.
Cons: Only real problem was the wifi. I was in the very top floor in a room right at one end and the wifi would not reach my phone. When it did I had to stay at one end of the room and sit on the ground to use it well. Luckily I didn't need it all that much so it did not affect me that bad, but it could affect others who are over for work etc. Simple fix with a Wifi extender plug type deal.

Pros: The staff were great. Location great.
Cons: The pillows were old and lumpy. Needs a refresh. Very old .
Okay 5.0
Cons: Bed was very hard, hardly slept and was very noisy outside.
Good 6.7
Pros: Location is good, Right behind Crown Salon bar and a lot of other bars around
Cons: This place looked like a run down hotel for a travel lodge hotel. I've stayed in other travel lodges and this is definitely a few steps down.
Good 6.3
Pros: Near the city centre
Cons: Bathroom to little, no place to put clothing had to leave it in suit case

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staffs are super good. Very nice and considerate.
Okay 5.8
Pros: They clean the toilet everyday. The staffs were accommodating. Near the bus stops.
Cons: The room lightning is quite dark, the heater is not working properly. The bed sheet, pillow and comforter is quite smelly. Kinda noisy especially when the other room is closing theri doors. It's quite far from the city central but near to some tourist spots like Queens University and Ulster Museum.
Okay 4.2
Pros: The location was the only "good" thing about this place. It is located at around 15 minutes from the main area of the city.
Cons: The rooms aren't clean, in fact the windows can't even open and they haven't been opened for ages. The breakfast consists of tea, cold milk and toasts. That's what they call a "full continental breakfast". The bathrooms is untidy too (obviously).
Okay 5.0
Pros: Late check in
Cons: Noisy environment, staff was talking throughout the night, place does not seem safe as police was checking the CCTV in the office while i was doing an early checkout
Okay 4.5
Pros: Central location.
Cons: Very shabby, needs a basic clean, clean the bathrooms inc paint work open the windows, paintwork everywhere was cracked, needs repair. Have bits on my legs also from?
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Small lockers are available free of charge for storing small valuables however, such as money, passport, etc. The room had 4 power points next to the door (but no where else). The bathroom showers are good. The hostel is located not too far from the city centre. You get what you pay for, which means it was economical staying there. The staff is very helpful.
Cons: The kitchen's pots and pans are not in very good condition. Bath towels are not privided. The bathrooms drainage need to be improved. The staff do the best they can to manage. More power sockets need to be provided for this day and age. The beds are noisy making squeaky sound every time you turn. It didn't disturb me but it's not nice disturbing other people.
Good 7.9
Pros: Location is good - about 15 mins walk from city centre. Value for money overall.
Cons: The room was very hot even though there was only one other person sharing.
