Comfortable and good location
They did not have a king room available like I booked
The room was very spacious and looks beautiful. I can buy sandwiches, beverages, snack at cafe of the hotel. I had to leave 1 day earlier than I booked for some reasons, but the receptionist responded to my request smoothly without any trouble.
The parking. It was to crowded. I had to wait over 24 mins for my car because it was parked in. The t.v didn't work. I was orginally suppose to have an apartment.
Staff were very helpful.
At check-in I was giving my room number and key for the 14th floor, as I approached the room there was a man leaving the room with a suite case in tow; when I got to the room door there was a woman in the room with and she was packing her bag and emptying the fridge.
The best thing about this hotel is it's location. It is a short few blocks to the Inner Harbour area.
The staff behind the front desk and at the Bell Captain stand out front were not particularly well informed or helpful. We were sent off in "taxis" that were nasty old vans that sounded as if they were falling apart a couple of times. Neither one of those taxis used a meter. Our room had just the desk chair, so lounging in the room meant on the bed trying to arrange pillows for comfort-which did not work well.
One of the most unique and interesting hotels in downtown Baltimore, the Lord Baltimore Hotel is a meticulously restored late 1920’s gem, rich in architectural and historical significance. Arriving guests will find a magnificent lobby featuring classic oil paintings, a grand piano, polished brass, and an award-winning vaulted fresco ceiling highlighted by an immense Murano glass chandelier.
23 stories containing 440 guest rooms and suites, created by interior designer Scott Sanders, offer old world elegance mixed with modern sophistication and private club aesthetic. Featuring charcoal-gray and black color schemes complemented by clean white accents, rooms feature cozy leather armchairs, rich textiles and plush fabrics, contemporary dark espresso furnishings, and vintage artwork. Amenities include flat screen HDTVs, mini-fridges, coffee makers, safes, and free Wi-Fi.
The restaurants on site are steeped in the essence of authentic Baltimore. Guests can enjoy fresh pastries at LB Bakery, the local bounty of the Chesapeake Bay at LB Tavern, or take in stunning skyline views from LB Skybar, the seasonal rooftop deck. The hotel is just steps from the Inner Harbor, Oriole Park at Camden Yards, and M&T Bank Stadium. Charles Center subway station is just across the street, which offers visitors access to the rest of Baltimore’s attractions such as the National Aquarium, The Walters and The American Visionary Art Museums, Fort McHenry, and the Maryland Science Center.
Since 1928, the Lord Baltimore Hotel has been one of the city’s premier destinations for events to remember. Featuring magnificent architecture and timeless interiors, it is among the most unforgettable event venues in the heart of downtown Baltimore.
