Pros: The hotel was immaculate! The rooms are super clean, the lobby and restrooms, the breakfast area and every area of the hotel were sparkling clean. The staff was nice and the breakfast was great! I loved that it included Gluten free bread and soymilk.
Cons: It's not the fault of the hotel but it is a huge stretch to say this hotel is in Athens. It's a $13, 20 minute Uber ride with no traffic to downtown which a bit further than I was expecting. There is nothing to see near the hotel except a Gas station.

We were totally amazed. The location, price and décor were amazing and totally unexpected. We have already booked another stay next week to attend a concert at UGA.

The hotel has an Indoor pool and spa with exterior Sun Patio, Free Parking, Exercise Room, Two Meeting Rooms, Business Center with Computer, Printer, Fax and Copy Services, Free High Speed Internet Access, Guest Laundry Facilities and Free Breakfast 2017 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence winner.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed the layout of the hotel itself, the rooms were spacious and clean. I liked the free cookies and tea in the lobby area. WiFi was awesome to have!
Cons: Two small garbage cans in the rooms don’t work the best on extended stays but I made it work. The hot tub doesn’t really get hot so it’s more of a lukewarm tub, about the same temperature as the pool itself. The location is kind of in a tucked away area so I felt secluded from everything else happening 100 yards away. Walls are pretty thin so I could usually hear conversations pretty clearly just sitting in my room.
7.0 Good
Pros: Courteous staff.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The size of the room and the staff’s friendliness.
Cons: One of the beds in our room was broken and my husband really didn’t enjoy sleeping next to the window because of that. The bathroom was not as clean as we would have liked it to be.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything except the complaining neighbor. Made us feel like we couldn't do or say anything. Very uncomfortable and not a very good anniversary for us.
Cons: The only issue I had was AS SOON AS we checked in and went to our room my fiance turned on the t.v. and the neighbor to the left of us called downstairs to complain about our "conversation noise volume"
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed the room setup and breakfast
Cons: No
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: The hotel was dirty. No other way to describe it. From trash in parking lot to the first room having dirty wash cloths hanging in shower and stains in shower.. staff provided a new room but it was very worn and carpet was heavily stained. Not good

Cons: No complaints. Everything was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice people, clean room, good breakfast. It was a good overall experience.
Cons: It would be helpful if there were a couple hooks in the bathroom. I stayed several days, and wanted to use the same towel for my whole stay, but there aren't any hooks in the bathroom. Just a helpful hint.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was clean and comfortable with a great breakfast.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: overall layout, room arrangement
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautiful the room was large with some extra seating.

4.0 Okay
Cons: Very disappointing for a 3 star hotel. Small room with a king bed, small bathroom, no closet, just a wardrobe closet, very small. tv too small for that class of room. No refrigerator, no microwave, only one cup of reg coffee in room, no free breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very clean, quiet, and super comfortable!! The employees were very nice and professional!
Cons: We arrived after 10 pm and at checkin we had an issue where the employee could not immediately see that the room was prepaid, but he asked me for my itinerary number and said he would take care of it. Regardless of that hiccup, checkin was quick.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, staff was great
Cons: Thought breakfast was free with stay, it wasn’t but that’s ok
6.5 Good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location.
Cons: Floor plan was slightly confusing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very good
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendly staff was by far the highlight of this unusual Courtyard Hotel. The layout is very much a series of connected cabins with a central area around the pool.
Cons: For a somewhat pricey hotel, they nickel and dimed you! Nothing was free. Breakfast would have been good.
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice lounge and great porch- good place to hang out.
Cons: I had picked a hotel w/ a pool. Then came to find out that while pool deck was open, the pool was closed. Saw several people swimming- but was told when I asked, that no I could not swim as pool was closed. In the room, paint was peeling on doors.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: For what the room cost versus what other hotels in the area cost I was expecting more. When I arrived on Friday afternoon there was a loud generator running in the lobby. The air conditioner was one of the old style units that was extremely loud.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel was central to the events and restaurants I was attending while in town.
Cons: The room and bathroom were smaller than what I expected for a 3-star hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was gracious and very helpful.
Cons: The pillows were NO GOOD you should get "MY PILLOW" FIRM
8.0 Excellent
Pros: the staff was awesome.
Cons: in the midst of remodel, looking forward to seeing what they will evolve into

Pros: Attention to detail, even the elevator was so quiet I did not know we had traveled five floors until the door opened. Having Applebee’s next door was a plus.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: I continue to like the location of the hotel and the cleanliness of the room.
Cons: The breakfast was not as good as the last time we were there, unfortunately. The staff member in charge of it was not polite when I asked her if there would be any more scrambled eggs coming out (since we had already been waiting for 10 minutes). She replied only that they weren't serving scrambled eggs that morning with no further explanation. But there was a sign/label for scrambled eggs and egg residue in the in the container...I didn't question her on that. Another ten minutes later, she brought out omelets that had been warming up in the oven. She could have easily mentioned that omelets were the egg item being served and let us know how much longer we needed to wait. Also, many juice and topping containers weren't refilled the whole time we were down there for breakfast.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I had a short stay, just needing the room. The staff was great, happy the room was pre-paid for, and they helped me with a free phone plugin when I had to leave my car (and my charger) somewhere else overnight.
Cons: My only big issue was how loud the door closing is. It wasn't a big deal for me, as I usually wake up before 9am on the weekends, but from 7:30-8:30 the consistent door slams all across the hallways did wake me up at 7:30.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Room was on Hawthorn street side and and noisy during the night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely friendly staff
Cons: No complaints
7.4 Good
Pros: Nice staff and comfortable, but lots of noise. Lots traffic noise and hotel noise. We could hat ice machine from our room
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The property was very clean. The beds were so comfortable.
Cons: We arrived early in morning and no staff was at front desk. It took me ringing the night alarm to get staff to appear. I had waited for 10 minutes before I found the button.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was nice and clean. Very comfortable.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Bed was comfortable and room was clean.
Cons: The food was cold and the coffee was extremely weak for breakfast.

4.6 Okay
Cons: Booked the hotel for the indoor pool but it was closed. The room allowed lots of noise in as it sounded like a party in the hall. Woke up to find that there must have been a party as the floor by the elevator looked like someone tried to halfway clean up vomit.
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean and a good value
Cons: Pool looked green. Was not able to use it.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fine. Room was comfortable. Facility was clean. Close to many restaurants with some in walking distance. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of choices and selections.

6.3 Good
Pros: Front Desk Folks were helpful and the staff who cleaned our room did an excellent job.
Cons: Two areas: At breakfast TV was set to Fox news. Many of us do NOT care to be habitually exposed to news and especially FOX news. TV's should be set to weather or travel channels and NOT to the 24 hour news cycle. Rod supporting the shower curtain was broken and so the shower curtain kept sliding to the middle. Made it impossible to shower withou having water all over the floor.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Jerrod at the front desk was extremely helpful . He went out if his way to make sure things were taken care of. I was having trouble printing boarding passes and he stepped right in and got it done. Great personality!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was okay! The biscuits were hard and the gravy was not that good. Other than that it was very good.
5.7 Okay
Pros: The room size was great, sitting area separate from sleeping area. The bathe room very big, lots of towels and great water pressure in the shower.
Cons: The sheets had stains on them. The pillows were very very small. The room had a funny smell, they should consider cleaning the vents.
7.5 Good
Cons: Need to give discounts for military or aaa
7.9 Good
Pros: Not the nicest Comfort Inn I've stayed in but it did the trick. Room was quiet and clean. Location was fine for a quick overnite trip to Athens on a home game weekend.

7.5 Good
Pros: Staff was friendly
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Room was run down looking, walk repainted in some spots but looked hap hazard and unclean. Sheets were dirty, hair all over the toilet seat. TV did not work. Air conditioner was loud and cut on and off every 5 minutes. Room was located above electronic outside doors so if anyone went in and out there was a loud droning sound in the room. If you have another option in Athens I would take it. There’s not much close to town but this was away from downtown also so had to spend $40 on Uber to get places also.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Large rooms
Cons: I did not know beforehand that it was an extended stay hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Honestly, everything about the hotel was great! Kitchenette was clean! Beds were amazingly comfortable. Everything was nice and tidy. Brittney at the front desk was very kind and helpful. 9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was quiet and located within an easy 10 minute drive to UGA. The furnishings were new and the room was spacious and comfortable.
Cons: The floors in my room needed to be cleaned a bit better. I found a few small pieces of trash under the kitchen table and a few pieces of popcorn on the bedroom floor, but overall, I think the property is clean and well maintained.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good sleep was good....very comfortable bed!!
Cons: Not having breakfast here at the hotel...

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean and spacious. I wasn't expecting work space so that was a nice perk. Just spent one night and would absolutely stay again
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: Our faucet to the tub wasn't attached to the wall. When I pulled the plug for the shower head to come on the tub faucet literally came off the wall. Our sink was clogged as well with hair that didn't come from my husband or myself.

Pros: Beautiful and modern setup of food... very attractive!!
Cons: Coffee lukewarm
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location to the attending event was close and walking distance
Cons: Well where do I start? First thing my room was not satisfactory at all for $600 per night. The sink was in the same room as the bed and not in the bathroom where it should be. Very poorly designed. Stayed in a Holiday Inn Express in Dublin Ga night prior to my arrival at the Hyatt in Athens which I was much more impressed with (clean, modern and friendly staff) not to mention $400 less than the Hyatt in Athens. Second the first night at the Hyatt my husband and I go to the bar for a cocktail and the guy had absolutely no idea on how to mix a cocktail not only messed up our order but also the couple sitting beside us as well. I mean don’t hire someone to just have a body behind the bar. U must have some knowledge or experience to do that job. Third thing is charging $30 dollars a night to park in the hotel parking garage. When I checked in she asked me would u be parking with us which I thought was absolutely stupid question and caught me off guard beings that I’m staying there from out of town so where else would I be parking. So I agreed to pay the extra for parking but when we checked out I was told I would be charged for the parking which was $60 to my card on file. Then later on our way back to Florida checked my bank account and the Hyatt charged $110. I called and they explained that the extra $50 was for if they was anything broken or missing in the room. I asked why I wasn’t told that when I checked out and her response was us hold have been told that when u checked in but of course I was not. However she did tell me that the $50 would be reimbursed by the end of the week. However this experience was very disappointing and I will not be back to the Hyatt in Athens Ga.

Pros: pretty much brand new . . . . new = clean/nice liked the DirectTV in the rooms bathroom lighting excellent

Pros: All the staff was very nice and acknowledged us. The room and hotel was very, very clean.
Cons: The only thing I didn’t appreciate was being woke up by a key tapping on every door down the hall at 9am the day of check out. I felt we were intentionally woke up to hurry up and get out!! Check out time was 12pm.

Pros: Usually, I would not comment on such an issue, but we were given complimentary passes to the breakfast buffet. The first morning when we went down, (approx 8:30 am) we both got a plate full of food, and when we sat down to eat, we noticed that all of the items we had selected were terribly overcooked. My husband is an F&B manager at a competitor's chain, and immediately stated, "the steam table is way too hot". The following morning, when we went down for breakfast, he mentioned it to the woman in the "chef" coat that the steam table was too high, and was continuing to cook the food after it was placed on the buffet. The woman, in the chef coat, then went into the kitchen, and began to loudly share her thoughts on his suggestion with the rest of the staff in the kitchen. Most of what she said, i would never dare repeat, and it contained foul language. We were both shocked at her behavior and decided that we would rather eat elsewhere. I don't believe I have ever experienced this kind of disrespectful treatment at this type of a facility, ever.
