Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Bed linens were very good and comfortable bed. Great neighborhood and easy safe walking. It was not full of tourists like old town but a short walk to old town if you like. One block walk to lake. We were there on Saturday/ Sunday and the parking was by hotel on street and very easy yo find. Charming place and people. I would recommend is long as you don't expect luxury, just clean and friendly
Cons: Room was very small. sink in room and shower and toilet in a very small room...one person at a time. It was good for short stay , like overnight but wouldn't want to stay long. Very basic furnishings. Our room was over cafe so very noisy until 11pm.

Cons: Reserved and paid for accommodation for 3 adults long time in advance; gave me a twin bed room, no accommodations for the 3rd person; when I requested a room as per my reservation and payment, the receptionist told me that they did not have a room for 3 adults (contrary to the booking and representation on line); one hotel employee brought a folding bed for the 3rd person. Definitely, we are not going back to this hotel!

Pros: While the front of the hotel and reception are unimposing the rooms are very nice. Really nice shower withe great soaps and shampoo. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Zurich.

Pros: Smart rooms with nice linen and pillows. Everything is very clean and tidy. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was easy to get to and is a perfect position for getting in and out of central Zurich.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't particularly great, basically a standard hotel breakfast and not worth the money. The rooms were very warm during August which is expected but lack of aircon and loud street out the front made getting sleep tough.

Pros: The location is great, a few minutes walk from everything: trains, opera, lake, downtown, cafes, restaurants. The staff also very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The decoration is like 18th century, and the room was extremely small, with chandeliers and museum-style furniture! Not my favorite style... As for the bathroom and shower I could barely move.
