4.0 Okay
Pros: Location and buffet breakfast was okay.
Cons: Hotel itself is run down. Reception told us that it was a busy weekend with Woucher guests, which made the pool and spa impossible to use for full paying guests like myself. There was children clearly under the age of 16 using the spa facilities and playing ball in the pool. It is supposed to be a Spa where you unwind. Diabolical.
7.0 Good
Pros: Comfortable spacious room
Cons: Wet room was very wet! Changing rooms in the pool were cold; no shower gel in the pool showers. Having to go outside in the rain in order to get breakfast.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Tranquility of the place.
Cons: No fridge in the room.
6.7 Good
Pros: It was clean
Cons: No communication or instruction on the leisure facilities, not using the Manor House
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely surroundings great for walking off the excellent cuisine! Dog friendly which appeared to be the norm. Staff polite and attentive
Cons: Unfortunately our shower door was broken on arrival. It was meant to be fixed ASAP but it wasn’t possible.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great
Cons: Drinks prices were expensive. Didn’t encourage you to stay for long
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was clean and comfortable. Restaurant and service was fantastic, all the staff were extremely helpful
Cons: Our room was located in the old manor house which is beautiful, however we found our room to be very cold and the bathroom was freezing due to a vent in the ceiling.

Pros: Room was clean. Plently of parking available location was great Bed was comfortable. Upon checking out the staff were very friendly and courteous.
Cons: The room was clean and comfortable, but there was a loud sound coming through the pipes all the time. There was a leak in the bathroom that dripped constantly. I am glad I packed ear plugs! The restaurant had very very limited gluten free options. The menu were printed out bits of paper that were hardly legible. The restaurant staff in general were uninterested and slow, When I asked for gluten free option they said could do a vegetable curry, and offered no other options. When the meal came out it was what looked like frozen mixed vegetables with a bit of curry powder. No sauce, nothing that resembled the usual the vegetable curry you can get in any Indian restaurant. They had English options, none of which were gluten free. My colleague had a normal curry that was fine, but the naan bread was excellent.

Pros: Rooms very modern and clean.
Cons: The beds where very uncomfortable even with mattress topper on didn’t get a good nights sleep! The fact that the photo on booking.com actually makes you think the hotel is actually an older type building when indeed it’s the actual castle in Warwick. Breakfast not included for the price? Bar staff very under trained and quite slow. Asked for drink in proper gin glass to be told only had one and it was out in use???

4.0 Okay
Pros: The staff were friendly. and the place was clean and quiet. A nice touch was having a complimentary can of cold drink. Very refreshing after a long drive.
Cons: The bed was very soft. Only one chair in the room which meant one of us had to sit on the bed which kept moving away from the wall. There were only two sockets in the room, one of which had the tv plugged into it. The other was above the console. Not good when both my husband and myself need to use a CPAP machine during the night. We can’t be the only ones and like us, they would be unable to use it which is detrimental to our health. There was no heating in the bathroom and the heater in the bedroom was either on or off. No way of regulating it.

Just one pillow each, and no extra pillows available in the room. Tea and coffee facilities were minimal. The room was had an infestation of ants, crawling all over the top where we made tea, and all over the bed! I complained to a member of staff before we left and asked if they could email me. I've heard nothing.

Pros: Lovely hotel in a perfect location for the town and the racecourse.
Cons: Unfortunately our room (a superior double) had problems with the toilet flushing constantly after being flushed. A member of staff was called who was very polite but told us it had been happening in this room for some time. We ended up having to turn the water off through the night! (Luckily other half is a plumber!) Also out nespresso machine didn’t work. But hotel very clean, staff helpful and polite, just a bit frustrating with the toilet situation especially when they said they knew it had been doing it for a while!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bunk beds in the room for the girls was a total hit. The room set up was great and the minibar basket was well thought out and had some good snacks. The proximity to Warwick and restaurants is great.
Cons: Breakfast was good but as a vegetarian I thought there was limited options for the cooked food. The room decor could be updated a little and there was a very rattly mirror when walking across the floor but it is an old building.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff, good brekkie, spot on location.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Stuff was absolutely brilliant. Friendly, smiley, helping. Big thanks to the lady that came earlier in the morning to make us full English breakfast 30 minutes before opening hours as we had to leave early. The lobby with woodburners is very cosy. Perfect location in the centre of Warwick.
Cons: We booked a Superior Double Room. According to the photos I expected a nice room in an old hotel in a centre of Warwick. 3 days before our arrival I received an automatic email from the hotel informing us that the hotel hosts various venues, particularly over the weekends, which may last till midnight and asking us to let the hotel know whether we would appreciate rooms further from the facility rooms. We replied yes, however, we wanted to know whether the rooms further from the facility rooms are of the same quality as the other ones. We have not received any answer to our question. We were accommodated in the ground floor room in the annex to the hotel (not in the main building) meaning our windows faced the back courtyard of the hotel and the parking area. Therefore, the blindfolds had to be closed all the time. The room was relatively cold and quite small. It was ok for one night stay only but I would not book this room for longer stay.
9.0 Excellent

Pros: It was exactly as described, what I wanted. Genuinely old, in keeping with the planned visits to the castle and hospital which were described accurately within east walking distance. Best of all was the helpfulness of the owners both to make the most of my time here and ensure my comfort wY beyond just bed and breakfast.
