10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was an old cottage which had so many lovely touches such as all rooms being named after wives of Earl of Warwicks and teddy bears of all shapes and sizes everywhere. The owners were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were superb.Very good sized room with room for a huge bed and a seperate area for a sofa and a table.
Cons: Not sure there is anything I would change although travellers need to be aware that there are stairs to the first floor.

Bedroom was spacious, quiet and very modern and clean. Plenty of sockets with USB ports. Great bed. Continental help yourself breakfast in the morning was great with cereal, pastries, yoghurt etc. Cooked breakfast available for a small charge. Would recommend.

Large flat screen TV which makes a pleasant change from little ones on the wall that you can barely see! Good continental breakfast. All staff were very friendly and helpful. 7.5 Good
Pros: Good location, Warwick town good to look around
Cons: Clean tidy and fresh good walks around the Hotel, plenty to do with the spa
7.9 Good
Pros: Good location, nice facilities.
Cons: Young ,friendly staff which is nice but felt they could have benefited from some guidance from more experienced staff members to deliver better customer service, especially in the bar areas. Couldn't find the room safe as stated on our room itinerary
7.1 Good
Pros: Location.
Cons: More a country club with rooms than a hotel. There wasnt a nice restaurant or bar area. Obviously it is well used by families as a leisure centre, lots of children in pyjamas after their activities. Bar staff didn't seem experienced in how to present drinks using appropriate glasses, which all adds to the enjoyment of a drink when on holiday. Would have expected robes in all rooms not just superior given the cost.
Ardencote - Warwick - Building
10
8.6 Excellent (773 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The Ardencote is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The location is great and the hotel is set in beautiful grounds.
Cons: I was very disappointed to be told by the person at the leisure centre reception that my booking did not allow me to use the outdoor pool or other outside facilities. As she had not asked for my name or room number I wondered how she knew this, on asking I found her quite unable to answer. Although she handed me a towel and locker token, she didn't offer me any directions to the pool, changing rooms or any explanation of the other facilities that were available to me to use in the gym. For the price paid and the star rating, I was expecting a comfortable room. I was very surprized to find that, instead of a glass, the hotel provides a single use plastic beaker wrapped in plastic for use in the bathroom. But, when I found that the bed had been made so that the sheet did not wrap around the head end of the mattress, leaving the mattress exposed (as the mattress cover did not cover the head end either), I was quite shocked. Although the mattress seemed clean, I feel that it is very unhygenic not to make sure that it is protected by a mattress cover and sheet. This isn't what I expect to find in a 4 star rated hotel.
7.9 Good
Cons: Had a big wedding on and was very busy. Got the impression that if you weren’t with the big party you were a bit in the way. Staff untrained and insecure. Asked for a bathrobe and took an hour before they came by which time we had no use for it any longer.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The gardens and lake were beautiful with lots of lovely wildlife. Beautiful facade with lovely view of the lake. It was a delight to swim in the outdoor pool as the weather was very hot.
Cons: It would have been nice if the hot tub and jacuzzi had been working.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Refused access to the outside facilities listed on the website

Pros: We have stayed a few time's here and it always is so good cannot fault it ..staff very good smaller room this time but still worth doing
7.1 Good
Pros: Location ok but no parking except in carpark a walk away. The disable car parking space in front of the hotel is a hazard. Our car got damaged at night and has cost us over £100 + to repair. Although there is cctv, no one wants to help. Not the hotel, not the police, not the town hall council. Vegetarian food was not very nice- sweet potato curry from SriLanka was appaling noyhing like a curry.

7.7 Good
Pros: great food (even the breakfast was awesome!) and excellent staff! We arrived quite late at night (10pm), and we were not able to have hot food, but they let us have some great cold platter and soup of the day. all were so delicious and nicely presented that we were so touched!

8.5 Excellent (311 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at The Falcon at Hatton in Warwick, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Warwick Castle and Shakespeare Monument. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable en-suite room with its own front door- very handy when travelling with a dog- and the car could be parked directly in front- so it was very easy to unload our luggage. The pub itself has lots of charm; both the beer and the food were excellent. It was a pity that we didn’t have chance to explore the surroundings, due to heavy rain. There are well- signposted local walks- again, very useful when travelling with a dog, and rarely found. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a very pleasant stay, and we will book again when travelling in the area.
Cons: Nothing- it was all very nice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: it was very good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and warm. Staff friendly. Restaurant service good and food lovely.
Cons: Room was a little small. A bit noisey from other residents upstairs.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff;food
Cons: The bed/ mattress: could feel the springs. “Pillow-top” would help cushion the experience; provide actual soap of a size to use in the shower; NEED a shelf in the shower.Could provide biscuits to go with the tea/coffee in the room. Finally in room 8 is there an end stop missing from the right hand end of the shower tap?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room everyone was so friendly and food in the evening delicious
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, comfortable room, with parking right outside. It was nice to have a proper bath and not just a shower. The pub/restaurant was a lovely place to eat in the evening and breakfast was great. All the staff were super friendly, and I didn't feel at all awkward staying and dining alone. Convenient for the NEC.
Cons: My room was closest to the road, so there was some noise from the traffic, but I had earplugs with me so it didn't disturb my sleep. The TV was a bit pants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very convenient place to stay. The accommodation is in a separate block across the car park and so nice and quiet. Good food, clean and nice staff all you need.
Cons: Nothing.

7.0 Good
Pros: It was a shame I asked for a double bed and got two singles pushed together.
Cons: The toilet light pull switch needed replacing and the toilet must have had a leak as the floor was wet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The very friendly, helpful staff were a delight. The location was A1 for ease of getting around the town.
Cons: The rough wood walls in the bathroom looked out of place. The hand basin in the en suite was too small and not easy to clean teeth at without splashing the rough wood. Must make it hard to clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and very well decorated, rooms were cleaned every day and tea, coffee and milk replenished, breakfast are AMAZING
Cons: The walls of the rooms are very thin, we could hear every step the people in the next room took and their alarms that woke us up every morning
4.6 Okay
Pros: Good choice of cooked breakfast
Cons: No cereals, no yogurt, no fruit , no juice
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant eggs benedict for breakfast.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Both the breakfast and evening meals were excellent. The evening meal approached fine dining in taste and presentation. The room was small but clean and the bed was very comfortable. Wonderful view over the market square.
Cons: We were woken early morning by contractors erecting steelwork for stalls later that day ( Chocolate fair ). The noise and talking by contractors at such an early hour was annoying but it does not happen every week apparently. We were just unlucky. We would not hesitate to visit again.
7.1 Good
Pros: A lovely 17th century inn in a perfect location in a square. The room was adequate but small, with all the basics you’d require, including a small en-suite shower room/ WC. My room overlooked the market square which was lovely. The bed was comfortable and I got a reasonably good sleep. The bed had power sockets Rai on both sides for charging phone etc. Breakfast is served between 7-30 and 12 which is excellent. I had soft boiled eggs and toast with coffee and the quality of food was good and service friendly and efficient throughout.
Cons: When I arrived I was asked to pay to which I said I’d already paid when I made the booking - and I showed the confirmation in the booking.com Ap. They checked and found the payment details and explained that even if you select to pay in advance they wait until you arrive to take payment. The room was small and dark (though perhaps not surprising given the age of the building). The toilet was rather smelly With a drain smell - again maybe a function of the old plumbing. There was a health and safely / fire safety light in my room which Of course stayed on all night - I’ve never seen these placed actually in the bedroom before and it definitely affected my sleep. Breakfast was very much traditional English - there was no healthy natural yogurt granola and fruit option or cereal. Only toast was available on a buffet style basis.

Cons: Only suggestion would be to have a continental quilt instead of blankets for sofa bed as was cold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cooked breakfast was delicious!

Pros: It was oldie world and quirky ... staff were friendly breakfast was good nothing was to much trouble.

6.7 Good
Pros: The location was good, the room was a good size, bed comfy and very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good and plentiful with good choices.
Cons: Limited food available when we arrived at 8pm and the pub next door which we used last time had closed. We ended up going to the Hilton hotel across the road for something decent to eat. The hotel looked a little grubby in places. There didn’t seem to be enough staff. Didn’t expect to have to pay for parking.
9.4 Excellent
Cons: Very handy for the m/way. Not so good for food though as the pub next door has closed down & you have to drive into Warwick to get something to eat
7.5 Good

7.5 Good
Pros: The location was brilliant. The staff were friendly and in most cases helpful.
Cons: The property is dated and needs an uplift. The lighting system in the rooms is difficult to manage and frustrating. While the bed was comfortable the furniture and fittings was cheap and not hotel standards. There was a basket of goodies in the room which you could purchase but when we opened the chocolate it was stale and out of date.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely clean, tidy rooms. Very comfortable bed and good facilities overall. Great breakfast, lots of variety.
Cons: Only one key for the room, I know the staff could let us both in if needed but it meant we couldn't just come and go without discussing who had the key etc. Other than that, it was great.

7.4 Good
Pros: Staff were courteous and professional. Room was good, facilities were good.
Cons: Prices were ridiculous. £24 per day to park your car on the hotel car park. £12.60 for a Jack Daniels and Coke. Breakfast choices were very limited - what was available was good quality but I would expect a better selection for the standard and price.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff are courteous helpful and very pleasant. Our room was upgraded and cannot fault this hotel

4.0 Okay
Cons: Bed very hard and furniture worn. Restaurant poor. Food cold and small portions. Had to ask for menu 4 times and water twice. Not a country house atmosphere as suggested.
5.1 Okay
Pros: location, facilities, room size were all fine.
Cons: room itself was okay if a little tired but the bathroom was dirty and in a very poor condition. the food and service was very disappointing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice helpful staff and an excellent room.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The hotel itself isn’t too bad and has potential to be a really nice place. The staff were accommodating when issues came up with the room. The price was good for the area however unfortunately we soon found out why.
Cons: The bathroom smelt old and stale in the first room. The bedding had mould on it and the pillow had a dark stain on it. The room had no phone in it so I had to walk to reception which was in a separate building to show the staff pictures. He was very helpful and moved us to a new room which seemed good and more modern than the first one. During the night a faint smell of urine was coming from a part of the bed which myself and my partner noticed. The staff member offered free breakfast to compensate but we declined.
6.3 Good
Pros: Bar staff were good!
Cons: Rooms dated and bed not very comfy, you could feel the springs on the mattress.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Large clean and comfortable room which included a pod coffee maker as well as the usual tea and coffee making facilities. Really super evening meal in the restaurant.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff fantastic; friendly, helpful, welcoming. One even remembered me from last year writing my Xmas cards! Food wonderful, restaurant and bar meals. Rooms comfortable, clean bedding and towels. Hotel nice and warm. Reception staff; nothing too much trouble. Bar staff great. All work long hours but you'd never know from their attitude. We'll be back!!
Cons: Needs a lick of paint here and there
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room. For a high volume guest hotel, the staff coped well and efficiently; the room and corridors were tidy and clean. The bar was reasonably priced. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Upon evening of arrival the car park was full so I had to park in an adjacent field, although later I was able to return my car to the hotel. Also upon the evening of arrival I was disappointed to have to eat in the bar as the restaurant was unable to find me a table. The restaurant food was reasonably presented but a little over-cooked and pricey for its quality.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant room, nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast good too.
Cons: Evening meal was poor. This was conveyed directly to the hotel. Fish pie chosen from the a la carte menu should be renamed potato pie flavoured with fish sauce. Seasonal vegetables served with the meal were a joke surely. School fish pie was better. Wouldn't eat at the restaurant again in the evening. Sorry.

7.0 Good
Pros: Ideal for a overnighter on a journey. Room was quiet despite being on a motorway.
Cons: Shower had good flow of water. Water temperature was a little difficult to control.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bath had no shower fitting. The cold tap was frozen with lime and both the soap dispensers were empty. I complained to the staff as I left and was told I should have phoned---from the bath---in my nakedness?! Room No 011. My SATNAV found you but I had to ask the Coffee bar where you actually are---'-lots of people come in here asking'said the young lady. Got the message?
Cons: See above
5.4 Okay
Pros: • Staff were lovely.
Cons: • Found several dead insects in the room. • The shower didn’t work.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Value for money, clean and convenient
Cons: Could only part in a public car park
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Quiet room
Cons: Avoid room 12, smelly room, dirty furniture and carpets. Wouldn't dream of sitting on the sofa. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Disgusting.
7.9 Good
Pros: The friendly staff.
Cons: The shower curtain.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was really comfortable - very necessary, as it was a short break during a very long journey

7.5 Good
Pros: Good breakfast.fresh omelette
Cons: Rooms a little tired but clean
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Whilst I was out for a 30-min run somebody went into my room and stole my driving license. Also made a note of my bank account number and the following morning withdrew a large sum of money from over the counter at a branch of my bank nearby. Whilst I went out for my run I left my room key for safekeeping with the hotel reception. I did report this incident to the hotel but it seems that it isn't a matter of priority for the manager since he didn't ever get back to me despite promises that he would do so. I'm not the only person to report an incident of this nature in recent weeks. Seems trivial by comparison but the breakfast offering is lukewarm and unappetising. Wouldn't go within a mile of this place again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and service
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel its self was nice but I did detect a smell of damp when going to my room
Cons: No toast was offered at breakfast although it was on the menu, had to ask for more coffee at breakfast,
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely breakfast. Staff very attentive, meeting every request with a smile.
6.0 Good
Pros: Debbie the therapist was amazing
Cons: Heating and hot water - showers were scolding and unable to reduce heat!!!
7.5 Good
Pros: Big room with a comfortable bed. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff.
Cons: Room was far too hot. Couldn't turn bathroom radiator off without contacting staff - pliers were needed! Could only open one window and that wouldn't stay open - latch had broken. Had to use bible and tea/coffee box to keep window open. Had to keep it open because the room was so hot! Good bathroom but …. plug in basin was broken and shower water was very, very hot. Thermostat didn't seem to cool the water. If I turned the bath cold water tap on the shower went colder (still bloody hot) but the shower was then just a trickle. Some basic repairs to the room really would have improved my impression of the place.
