Pros: Lovely hospitality and a beautiful house in a good location. Relaxed and cosy place. The hosts were very understanding when we arrived really early in the morning because of our flight. Close to the main road but not too noisy.

Pros: The room is spacious and clean. They have one king size bed and one super single! Toilet is Huge too! Theres a big balcony and french window. Bfast is yummy and they serve bread with jam and butter also local bfast too, i love their pancake with coconut filling. Tea in a pot. They change the main every single day so you wont get bored Thanks to Madam Sako and her Mother. Walking distance to Unawatuna beach and all the cool cafes and shops around 10 mins.

Pros: The family are the greatest plus about staying here . Very , very helpful and speak English extremely well . The family could not do enough for us ( especially in difficult times , coronavirus ) even using their own tuk tuk to take us to the train station when we left , thanks . Also the breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked and special thanks to granny , who had to go up and down the stairs on numerous occasions . : )

Cons: Mostly everything! We used Pick Me apps to Galle and Galle Railway Station cos its quite far but Pick Me apps is quite new in Unawatuna and you have to wait and try everytime you want to book cos normal Tuk Tuk driver are against them cos they are way cheaper. But yeah got declined many times and so at times we took normal Tuk Tuk.

Cons: If I am being fussy , there was no curtain on one of the windows and had to ask them to put a sheet over it . Only cleaned the room every few days , so had to ask them to empty the bin daily , as you are not suppose to put toilet paper down the toilet . In general the whole place could do with a bit of TLC . But that said it is a family run business and a family home ( downstairs only ) and extremely great value for money .

Pros: The hotel is in a great location, just meters from Unawutuna beach and plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms are very clean and modern and made for a very comfortable stay. I wasn't leaving til the afternoon and they allowed to check out late so I could leave my bags while I went to the beach and explored during the day.

Pros: This place is hidden, perhaps forgotten, jewel. I'm guessing it is one of the longer standing hotels on the beach, pre-dating the 2004 tsunami. It's all the way down at the end of the lane, which to me was a good thing. It's quieter and it's access to the beach is not busy. I was coming to Unawatuna Beach for two weeks, but I would have lots of work to do while I was there. So I asked the hotel to put a desk in my room, and they did so with no trouble. The room is cozy and clean. You can have it cleaned as often as you like. The best part is the staff. They are incredibly helpful and kind.

Cons: Staff had a poor understanding of English although they did their best. Food in the restaurant was average and the resort was not beach front. There was a bar area for the hotel on the beach but as it was a holiday they were not serving alcohol.

Pros: The owner/staff was soo friendly! He brought us free smoothies and fruits when we arrived and nice iced coffee in the evening! It was all very clean and the view was really nice aswell as the surrounding with a lot of cute and nice restaurants!

Pros: We are happy to spend a whole month in this place. This is a small well-equipped apartment. Nice bathroom. Nice big bed. Good internet. All you need to relax after traveling and beaches. The coolest thing about the room we stayed at was a balcony with a beautiful and picturesque view of the seashore. Many thanks to the employee Prasana, who was helping us a lot during our vacation!

Cons: Unsatisfying points: During the day, inside room will be a little hot and AC doesn’t work well. Breakfast served in Ice Cream Bar, no AC cooling, the heat inside room makes you no appetite. Not recommend to order breakfast with room.
