Pros: Modern hotel, but with a unique, historically influenced structure, dramatic five-story entry atrium. Rooms good size, comfortable. Good size bathroom, plenty of hot water (tub-shower combo in this room). Lots of choices on the cable TV (including English, French, German besides Italian channels). Tremendous breakfast buffet, anything you could want, good coffee. Desk staff efficient & helpful - will call for restaurant reservations for you, etc. A bit larger than the hotels that we usually prefer, but mostly does not feel impersonal. And there don't seem to be many quality smaller hotels in Turin. Location is unbeatable - 2 minutes to Roman gate, 5 minutes to cathedral with the Shroud of Turn (which of course is not on display because of its fragility). In the other direction, many cafes, gelaterias, restaurants. Main shopping streets a pleasant walk away. Don't miss Via LaGrange, with its several gourmet food shops, cafes, restaurants. (Cafe Gatsby a special favorite with us.) Be sure to have a bicerin at some point (espresso, hot chocolate, whipped cream neatly layered) - a Turin invention that I'm now addicted to!

Cons: The breakfast buffet was average at best. The wireless is extremely slow. Could use more light in the bathroom and dressing area. We stayed in late October it was unseasonably warm, unfortunately the AC had been turned off for the season. Windows in our room were not practical to keep open for security.

Pros: If you want to stay in the Center of Torino this is the place to stay. The friendly team will do its best to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are well equipped and spacious and open to a silent inner garden.
Cons: Coffee - but no problem just cross the street and get yours at the next bar. And keep in mind that there is as in every city center no parking space and all Italian city centers have limitations for cars. The next garage is not if the cheap kind.

The room was not soundproof, you can hear the adjacent rooms; people talking, alarms going off, phone ringing, door slammings and tv/music playing past 12 midnight. The electrical point for international plugs never works. The room service needs to improve, the person who took my order couldn’t comprehend Italian and English. I am absolutely certain there wasn’t a fault with the phone connection. The migrant worker used the F word on the phone just because he couldn’t understand and asked me to repeat the order. Its obvious « grilled vegetables » also known as « vedure grigliate ». I told him i would prefer to speak to his colleague but no he said that the kitchen was closed. Clearly the snacks ordered is available from 12 till 10pm while kitchen is closed. A rowdy guest banged on my door on 10 November, accusing me of making noise at 5am when I was sound asleep, by 7am there was another bang on my door and again at 7h45 in the morning. When i opened the door, there was a man three times my size death threatening me and being totally racist, judging by his accent it was a french/german tourist. I called reception and the lady apologised and said that there was a big chinese tour group checking out early. Clearly the door had no peephole. The only thing that went off was the alarm set for 7h30 and its very obvious the hotel walls are not sound proof. You also can hear the people on the floor above the room. I made additional complaints to the reception, Gabriele told me that the hotel has a privacy policy that they can’t interfere with guests especially noisy and rowdy guests. He consulted the general manager and made an apology on behalf of the general manager making an excuse that the angry guest should complaint to the front desk instead of intimidating the guests. Out of all the 4stars and 5 stars hotel including boutique hotels, this NH Hotel Centro in Torino was appalling.

Have to put door keycard in slot once in room to turn on all all power and heating/cooling, so room was quite hot after returning from a day out and took quite a while to cool once returned - no way to have the AC on enough to keep it from getting super hot w/o leaving a key card in it all day long. Also unable to charge electronics when not there *everything turns off*. This was common in many rooms we used in Switzerland and Italy

All families were cooking and the windows were open, thats true italian life. Liked the fact, that halls were covered with carpet, so there was no noise. WIFI was working well.

Cons: They didn't have a receptionist at night and I needed something urgently since I was flying out very early the following morning. The person behind the desk couldn't speak English and began telling me off for having an issue with my Safe code, he said I should have informed someone earlier about the matter. I was there for work and was out with work commitments between 8am and 11pm that day so I had no time to ask someone for help until I returned. The person behind the desk was very unprofessional - it seemed as though he wasn't a qualified receptionist but more like some sort of security person who was put there as night watch but could not cater to any guest requests which made the experience very frustrating for me.

Pros: The location is great as the hotel is situated in the center of Turin. Breakfast lacked warm dishes but otherwise was satisfactory. The room was pretty clean with a good bathroom size, enough towels, good pressure water and complementary soap.
Cons: It was annoying that the room key had to be left at the reception, especially when considering that the reception staff never asked for ID upon requesting a key. The room was situated on the 1st floor above a restaurant that was very noisy. In addition, the restaurant staff made noise and operated noisy machinery after the restaurant closed until 2:00 in the morning. I called the reception 3 times and asked them to do something about it and finally they said they couldn't and did not have another room to relocate me to. I have a hard time believing this since the key holders were half full at 11:30pm. The next day, they relocated me to another quite room (on a higher floor) and offered a quick apology.

Cons: Breakfast had no variety. The location of the Hotel is not close enough to the city center. The room was not cleaned very well. In fact I found (adequately big) bugs inside the room during the two (out the three) nights there. Also found a spider web in the bathroom, behind the door.

Cons: I expected that the bed would be more comfortable and in general that the facilities would be more modern for the 4 stars it has. Somehow the hotel looked pretty old fashioned and wasted.

Cons: Front desk staff treated you like an inconvenience (breakfast, maintenance, and cleaning staff were pleasant) Our shower head blocked and could not be changed during our stay!! Water would not maintain a constant temperature, and pressure non existent. Water glass in room was cracked, floorboards were peeling and toilet had a poor flush. The elevator is small (Max 4 people squished) and was very slow. You could hear the water running through the walls when other guests flushed their toilets.

Cons: This is definitely not a 4 star hotel! Max. 3. The rooms are worn, though the matraces were fine. Everything looks old...but not smelly. The wifi is poor, hardly useable.

Cons: It’s SO old. The phone and the hairdryer must be there since the 50s. The hairdryer was basically useless, I’d have dried my hair faster with someone blowing air with their mouth. The room in general feels very tired and wifi is very slow.
