Heat didn’t work, room 226 is located near an exit door that everyone slams since 5 am. No late check out. Rude employees. Would rather stay at motel 6 for $60 and save a hundred. The only thing remodeled in this place is their lobby. Old lumpy beds are impossible to sleep in. Will never stay again.

Pros (+) Location of nice, just north of Downtown Taos
Cons (-) Rooms and Facilities were really run down. My room wasn't ready so I waited outside. The guy who prepped my room asked me "hey do I need to fold your towels and Sh*t"? Only had decretive pillows on the bed, so I covered a clean towel over the pillow to sleep on. After over hearing other guest at the hotel, rooms not being ready or clean where a common thing there.

Pros (+) This is a great place to stay over night or two if you have some business in Taos and don't want to spend extra on unnecessary luxury or comfort. Kachina beats a lot Airbnb prices, however conveniently located in downtown Taos right by the main road, which goes trough the town. Pros (+) The place hasn't changed much and is nice but need to be up dated!

Pros (+) It was quiet. The cleaning crew didn't come bothering in the morning like a lot of other hotels. Beds were comfortable.
Cons (-) The tub could've been cleaner. The door had a gap at the bottom that was concerning. The new employee was a bit abrupt. Requested an early check in and asked supervisor if I should be charged for early checkin. Thankfully she clarified there was no charge

Pros (+) microwave / refrig avail on request decent heating system temps went below zero room was still comfy, hottub avail, being on north side of taos decent access to taos ski valley without long drive thru town free coffee in lobby
Cons (-) didn't get maid service 2 of 4 days , internet ok for email / fb but couldn't stream, assigned to adjoining room noise from adjoining room. inroom book and reservation said free breakfast they provided a coupon for 50% off a $9 breakfast asked for free breakfast they promised with my paid in full reservation they refused

At the same time there was a loud argument in the lobby between two staff and a manager that they were quitting because they couldnt work there for free.
