Pros: The host, facilities, and atmosphere were all amazing. Nothing but wonderful things to say.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful rooms and quiet secluded property. Walkable to many places. Amazing breakfast. Wonderful host.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We LOVED the owners and staff. Their friendliness and willingness to help really exceeded our expectations...definitely the most welcoming B&B we have been to in the U.S. For example: the night we arrived they happened to be having a birthday party, and they offered us a slice of their birthday cake! We had a leave extremely early the morning we checked out, and they left a full to-go breakfast in our fridge the night before.
Cons: The springs on the bed in our room (Kachina) were a bit worn; we do prefer a firmer bed though. The linens were clean and soft which made up for it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was easy to find. Property was charming. Room was spacious. Owner very friendly. Breakfast was sufficient however could offer more varieties...
Cons: Perhaps breakfast should offer more variety
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent food and gracious service. The four of us sat at the big table for friendly conversations with other guests. Delightful!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the fireplace, comfortable bed, beautiful and warm quilt, warmed floors, greeting from our hosts including Jake - Wonderful and delicious breakfast... you have to have the hot oats brulee and any of the baked goods... everything was delicious. We will be back for a longer stay.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great hospitality. All the amenities with excellent breakfast. Would definitely come again.
Cons: A bit hard to find.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting is lovey -- quiet, yet close to the center of town.

Pros: Loved the peace and quiet of the property --breakfast was wonderful and the staff couldn't have been nicer
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very quaint and comfortable. We rented the least expensive room, but it was attached to a common living room with a big sofa and cushy chair that we had all to ourselves so we felt like we got a bargain. The breakfast was great. There were 2 selections or you could order to suit.
Cons: No complaints
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The green space is amazing. You enter the property through a street that is more like an alley. It is a big surprise once you get in and see all the green yard and places to sit outside
Cons: Nothing very nice hospitality
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Bed and linens, excellent. Onsite manager very accommodating. Breakfasts were outstanding!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Relaxing friendly and nice view
Cons: Because it’s a older house the floors have steps so maybe would be unsuited to people at falling risk but be were warned so we’re ok
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice jacuzzi and yummy breakfast.
Cons: Beds are not comfy, no way to make the room dark (lots of light coming through roof and blinds), staff is just no friendly and couldn’t care less about its guests. Very random and disappointing and very bad value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, staff was wonderful and slept like a baby.
Cons: Nothing, I enjoyed everything.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, setting and ambiance of this place is so relaxing. The breakfast is amazing!!! The room was so homey, we ordered food to go twice and enjoyed it in our room. We loved this place...highly recommend it!!!
Cons: Not a dislike just added touches. Need hooks in bathroom for hanging clothes, towels, toiletry bags, etc. A small shelf in shower for toiletries, would help for those that don't bend so well. Other than that, only thing that was missing in our room was coffee creamer but main room was close enough to go get some. We had an amazing stay!

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast buffet was great, beds were great, pool and spa great, extremely well maintained building and grounds.
Cons: A little more room at the buffet.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This was a nice stay - overall. I tend to be very detail oriented so it’s all in the details. Just a couple of things that bothered me but no one else would notice.
Cons: There was only one trash can in the whole room (even the bathroom). The bathroom electrical outlet was too close to the mirror which didn’t allow me to use my hair appliances. I had to go to the desk to use them. The food was not good at all. Other than that is was a nice stay.

Great breakfast with ham, eggs, potatoes, burritos, sausage & gravy, fruit etc. Nice quiet grounds with common lawn area and seating. Room also featured a balcony out back.

Pros: Lots of "very" -- very clean. Very friendly staff, very comfortable, very excellent breakfast. We'd definitely stay here again if we're back this way.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was large and pleasant
Cons: The room was off long gravelled paths that made it almost impossible to wheel heavy luggage to/from the car, and the breakfast, although large and varied, had hot components that were not really conducive to the Aussie palate.

Pros: Location was great! It had lawn to rest and relax at. The pool was nice! The breakfast was wonderful!
Cons: The fruit trees had dropped their fruit and it was pretty messy.

9.4 Excellent
Pros: I like their fireplace, it is unique and fun to set it up. They even have a peacock. The place is nicely decorated, and very romantic.
Cons: It is a bit hard to find, especially after the dark, as their sign has no light. A quick tips is that their office is at the dead end of the road, in front of a gate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts were friendly and very helpful with advice about local attractions and dining. We enjoyed all being at the breakfast table with other guests. Northern New Mexico architecture was great. Room was cozy, even with cold nights.
Cons: Somewhat difficult to find, especially at night.

Pros: Authentic Southwestern room on beautiful grounds. Secluded and quiet but just minutes from plaza. Felt very welcomed and look forward to returning when we can spend more time. Loved it!

Pros: The facility was architecturally interesting, filled with knowledgeablely collected art .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room. Beautiful grounds. Excellent breakfast. Our host gave us excellent sightseeing and dining advice.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I knew I was going to love this property, when I received a call from them the day after booking. Peggy informed me that the room I booked was their smallest, and it was only 170 sq feet. Seeing as my wife and I were only going to be in Taos for one night, it was fine. It’s an Inn, with a serious bed and breakfast feel to it. I would say of our whole New Mexico trip, this was the most memorable. Peggy and her husband is amazing people, who make you feel as if you’re a family member visiting from out of town.
Cons: If you’re looking for pool, hot tub, and super fancy amenities, this is not your place. If you’re looking for Welcome to Taos, we’re glad your here, and we’ll see you next time, this is your place.

Cons: NA
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Believe it or not, I really appreciated NOT having staff come in every day to make up the bed and change the linens. I was much more comfortable taking care of the room myself. The Murphy bed was great giving us a larger area in the room when we were not sleeping. The space in the bathroom was generous unlike many other hotels. We enjoyed the hot tub after a busy day of hiking around. The location was within easy walking distance of historic Taos. Finally, the front desk staff was very friendly when we checked in, and always greeted us when we walked through the lobby.
Cons: One of our overhead light bulbs was out (I should have mentioned it at the front desk), and our coffee table had a big crack in it. These were minor items, and did not detract from our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, roomy accomodations
Cons: No

Pros: From the moment we checked in Shawn greeted us and showed us around giving us the history behind each room and the property. Shaun pointed out where to find everything we needed. He also helped us choose our breakfast which we would need to do for each day that we stayed. The best check in experience that we’ve ever had. The space was just what we hoped for....a romantic getaway. When we needed extra coffee or firewood for the room Shaun took care of that. Being able to use the spa at the El Monte was amazing. So relaxing! Breakfast in our room was a nice treat and the social aspect of having breakfast with the other guests was really enjoyable. Lauren was delightful! It was easy to get downtown and to everywhere we wanted to go. We didn’t want to leave.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved the rooms and the staff particularly Seann. The breakfast was fabulous . We will stay here again.
Cons: Too hot ! Need AC.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, off the beaten path, nice courtyard, great manager, modern/contemporary remodel of older facility, breakfast included.
Cons: The "Illuminator" room needs "comfortable seating" for two people.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast served each day was wonderful. The staff were lovely and helpful.
Cons: A need for maintenance?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best service nicest people
Cons: Nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: The hosts and chef were amazing. Breakfast was delicious. Wonderful people.
Cons: The king room was postage stamp size. Very uninspired interior. If you're going to name a room after an artist don't you think you should hang some reproductions of the artists work? Or something! Dirty windows. Location was in a residential neighborhood and we had to drive to get anywhere. Even to the sister resort which had all the amenities.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room is compact, thoughtfully equipped with basic amenities
Cons: The room could have been bigger for the price we pay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great service
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was beautiful and very good amenities

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Shaun was amazing. So informative, friendly & helpful. Room was large with 2 sinks in bath. Bed was comfortable and linens were plush! Easy parking near our room. Breakfast was delish and served in our room.

Cons: Th eggs were gross....and the man that was running the place was constantly coming in our place.....and checking up on us. Just weird. Not worth the money.

7.5 Good
Pros: I think this hotel is overpriced for the rooms compared to other options. Though the hotel is located conveniently near the downtown, but if you have a car, it's better to stay a little further and save money on hotel cost.
Cons: I found hotel price expensive. We could have found similar room for 80$, and were expecting a lot more after paying 160$ for the room here. Also, room description says "Double room, and says "Twin beds" in fine print, we missed reading that and ended up sleeping in separate bed.
7.0 Good
Pros: The evening music was fantastic.
Cons: Our room was very cold. The waitress at dinner forgot our tea, then ignored us. She seemed irritated when we told her to take the tea charge off our bill. Also the bar staff would not bring us drinks to the upstairs tables even though the signs on the table said they would.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location, the history of the place and the ambiance were what we stayed there for.
Cons: The restaurant in the hotel, Doc Martins needs more staff. There was only 1 waiter for 12 tables outside. We had a party of 5 and 1 of our meals was forgotten. It didnt make it to the table until 20 min after everyone elses food got there. It's a pricey place...they can do better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The chili relleno at Doc Martins is out of this world!!!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Long distances over rough ground
7.9 Good
Pros: Our bartender, Clint, made the best Perfect Margaritas!
Cons: Our King bed room was nice but was expecting a more comfortable bed. Live music in lobby was good but we were exhausted and we couldn't sleep until they were finished.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Authentic adobe building, live music in the evenings in the lobby/bar. The fact that the lobby is a bar. Friendly staff. Cute, fitting decor.
Cons: The bed was a bit short for a 6’5” guy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: great central location; nice ambience
Cons: The room had a wall heater that made so much noise that it was difficult to sleep. The bathroom door was difficult to close and open, and the bathroom was so small that getting around the inward-opening door was difficult.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, food, entertainment and facinating locals.
Cons: I liked everything aboutbit!
8.2 Excellent

Cons: Breakfast

Native American, Mexican, Spanish, and the cultures of the American West are celebrated in beautiful spaces, alongside the indomitable spirit of the peoples, past and present, who have shaped our landscapes.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Lighting in bathroom poor for applying makeup.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful and beautiful grounds.
Cons: No
9.6 Excellent
Cons: The coffee maker did not work well.
6.7 Good
Cons: No refill on toilet paper. Restaurant closed the 2 nites there. They wanted more$$ to use a sub standard sauna and steam room. Will NOT recommend this resort
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location was fine, but otherwise not a satisfactory stay.
Cons: The website assigned a 5.0 as a review score based on answers. They are being very generous to themselves. The corners of the room we not clean which speaks to the overall cleanliness of the room. One bed had a nice comforter the other a thin blanket. My wife could not close the black out curtain. Staff had a loud disagreement outside our door. We were privy to all. Property felt dated. Valet staff could not verify our reservation on arrival going so far as to ask to see our confirmation email. Check in was oddly cumbersome and time consuming. Experience did not come close to meeting our expectation based on the price paid.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the room, it was very nice!
Cons: The mattress was a little too soft, nd you might have better blinds, or curtains to block the light! Another thing, the cable was not working, that's why we checked out so early, we called service to fix it, never did fixed it! For paying so much for the room, cable not working!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: common areas
Cons: nothing
7.5 Good
Cons: I would request that Heritage Hotels address plastic pollution by not offering their guests a "bottle of water" at every turn.
6.3 Good
Pros: Comfy beds, beautiful grounds, good pool.
Cons: Our suite was in need of serious maintenance: 4 windows in the living room would not close all the way so we could never fully secure the room; blinds were broken to the point that the slats were coming out; the pocket door handle was broken making it almost impossible to close the bathroom door. The hotel has NO recycling. While there was coffee I. The room, only paper and plastic cups were available. A place of this caliber should have ceramic cups and glasses in the room. I asked for a late check out and was confirmed for it but housekeeping showed up and then I got a call from the front desk saying we needed to vacate the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is an oasis of luxury set in a very small town in New Mexico's northern mountains. It's location is perfect--the grounds of the hotel are lush and beautiful, and the interior design is excellent.
Cons: The hot tub in my suite was dirty. There was a strange thumping noise all night long that kept me awake. The doors of the suite did not properly lock. I felt somewhat unsafe.
7.5 Good
Pros: IT WAS A VERY TRANQUIL. LOVED THE SITE. TO BAD ONLY STAYED ONE NIGHT. POSSIBLY RETURNING IN NOVEMBER 2019
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very welcoming. The overall design of the hotel and rooms is high-end and fitting for the region. The in-room experience is comfortable and luxurious!

Pros: There is a lot of interesting history wrapped up in Hotel LaFonda. The art work is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable — small but comfy. The staff was very courteous.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Situated right on the historic plaza in Taos, this hotel's rooms and public areas are decorated in old New Mexican splendor. It has all modern amenities yet retains the character of the old west. The young man who checked us in was so welcoming and so attentive. It's the oldest hotel in Taos. Coffee, tea and other beverages were available in a beautiful sitting room down the hall from our room when we awakened in the morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place, great history, great location
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, parking, cleanliness, staff, history, easily walkable to shopping and dining
6.0 Good
Pros: The staff was very good and location excellent
Cons: I thought the price was high for the quality of the hotel, the room furnishings, and amenities for the Taos market. It is not a good value. The evaporative coolers were too noisy and we had no control over cooling. Bathroom needed pull/safety bars.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great location in the square.
Cons: Old and very expensive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: location
Cons: no
5.0 Okay
Pros: Free Starbucks coffee from the cafe (although at times there was a very long wait to get it). The floors in the room were wood.
Cons: There was no breakfast in the morning. The room was small. The temperature control was regulated from the front desk on the 1st floor and we were on the second floor. Thank goodness for the overhead fan over the bed. I would'nt stay here again.
6.8 Good
Pros: The location is excellent
Cons: The rooms are small. No coffee-maker or refrigerator is provided. Free coffee is theoretically available from the Starbucks on the ground floor of the hotel, but it doesn't open until at least 7 am. Internet is very sketchy.
7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel was in a great central location and the staff is very accommodating, but be warned it is located in the Plaza which is very noisy starting early in the morning (around 7 a.m.) and into late evening (11:30/ midnight).
Cons: If staying for only a night, this problem may not be an issue for you, but my husband and I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights in a room without a dresser. We did have a closet to hang clothes, but had to live out of a suitcase which is not ideal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming authentic southwest feel. Right on plaza. Great staff.
Cons: No
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is ideally situated in the square in Taos close to bars and eateries. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was better than the average Inn, especially liked fresh fruit. Location was fine on the main drag.
Cons: Couldn't figure out that duvet could be separated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was generally excellent.
Cons: Meat should not be mixed with the eggs!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Julie, the front desk staff member is awesome! After I made the reservation online, I got the text “what can we do for you during the stay?”... I responded our first night was my wife’s birthday and she liked bears. When we got to the room, there was a BEAUTIFUL little bouquet of white daisies, and a Gund (not cheap) teddy bear with a ‘Happy Birthday!’ card. This was an exceptional touch to start a fun weekend. Impressed. Pool was great but not accessible from inside...had to brave the snow to get to the pool building...still, nice well kept pool.
Cons: Bathroom shower floor and bathroom floor were dirty. Need an upgrade and/or better attention to cleaning the floor. Also, no less than 4 different times, the hallways were blocked across by housekeeping carts. Just tell the nice ladies to put them against the walls. Not the biggest deal, but aggravating when you’re carrying ski gear/bags.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was exceptional and knew their surroundings
Cons: The only problem was the jacuzzi pump was weak, so no pressure to relax the body.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: good bed clean room quiet
Cons: gluten free options
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of best hotel I have ever lived. Room is cleaned. Front desk is nice. Great breakfast. All facilities are new. Decent swimming pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best use of space in a medium budget hotel
Cons: Breakfast was fairly skimpy. The pineapple was canned I'm sure. The batter for the waffles was pretty awful. It produces waffles that tasted like chalk and which fell apart in a cloud of dust! They had the famous (infamous) cheese omelet things and the bean burritos both of which I passed on. Coffee was very good.
6.0 Good
Pros: Very friendly
Cons: I chose this hotel and room mostly for the spa tub. The drain didnt work, so my plans were crushed.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Quiet. Nice breakfast
Cons: Too far to walk to town
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The bathroom was amazing and the bed was very comfortable.
Cons: The parking lot was a little small, but that wasn't a huge deal.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: the location and the staff were top notch
Cons: the room had a strange vibrating hum that came on and off rhythmically every 3-4 minutes which kept us awake
7.5 Good
Pros: the staff
Cons: The breakfast was cold especially the coffee and selections limited.

Pros: Breakfast was delicious all three mornings. Room spacious and bed comfortable.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed staying at the Inn at the Rio. The rooms are tastefully furbished and the Inn is in a quiet area of Taos, but still close to town. The owners are very friendly and share a lot of information and insider tips with their guests. Breakfast is very nice, home made tortilla, cakes, fresh fruit a variety of breads and cereals are served in the cosy reception café and if the weather permits outside in the patio.
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we had while we were in New Mexico on a 9 day vacation. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with excellent suggestions for meals. The location is about a mile out of town away from the tourists which we found to be a desirable thing. The beds were very comfortable and the room was pleasantly furnished. The ambiance of the entire place is that of a B&B but with the privacy and convenience of a motel. We would definitely go back there if we are ever in Taos again.
Cons: No air conditioning, but the weather was cool at night so it wasn't a factor for us. The shower stall could have been a little bigger.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A couch in the room! No sitting on bed. Great hosts. Delicious food. Had good suggestions for dinners.
7.5 Good
Pros: Charming décor, great breakfasts, and delightful host.
Cons: Room was too warm with no air conditioning and it was not well lit. Mostly, however, there were too few electrical outlets for my husband's CPAP machine and to charge our phones.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location - away from town - and the decor. Breakfast was wonderful and our host went out of his way to provide information and make us feel at home.
Cons: The room was small, so not really conducive to getting comfortable for reading or spreading out a bit.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Though late check in was frowned upon, we greatly appreciated the forgiveness and allowed to be checked in.
Cons: Low shower head with very little water pressure.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The place was charming and decorated very cute. It was clean. The owners were very nice and interesting to talk to. We were surprised to get breakfast and it was very good. The place resembles a B&B.
Cons: The parking lot needs some loads of gravel. The exit has such a drop off we worried about the tires on our car.

7.5 Good
Pros: We got a bigger room that I had originally booked, but I liked the other rooms better. The other room that I originally booked was not available. But there was plenty of space in the room I was in. Breakfast was really good. It was a cute Hotel cute patio. Good location. Helpful staff. But overall it was not a good stay.
Cons: The staff was friendly, but they were not prepared. We got there after check-in and still had to wait about 45 minutes for a room to be ready. Finally got our keys and it didn't work. Had to go back and get them re-swiped.. Try them again got in the room. There were already people staying in the room who we had walked in on. Had to go back to the front desk again to get another room. Finally got another room and the Murphy bed had not been made. Breakfast was good ....staff was trying to help us as best they could. But it started off on the wrong foot and was only a so-so experience. The room I booked online was not the room that I ended up getting, I feel like I was put in an overflow area because they were not prepared. Possibly they had a shortage on housekeeping help that day. But the room that I booked online was not the room that I got put in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the adobe style of the old section in which we stayed. It was very quaint. I also loved the grassy courtyard and took advantage of sitting out there to relax after a day of being out and about. The restaurant was very good too! We ate there 2 nights of our 6 night stay. Get the lamb riblets or the ribeye! Also the breakfast was good too. Fruit every morning and the meats and pancake and french toast was alternate. The green chili was just right with the fresh scrambled eggs. They also had cooked oatmeal and biscuits and gravy. Coffee was delicious too. All the help was gracious and friendly :) We would definitely stay here again!
Cons: I think the only thing I didn't care for was the tub wouldn't drain while taking a shower and you couldn't push the stopper down to take a bath.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is charming and well kept. We enjoyed the happy hour at the bar and the hot tub and the breakfast buffet. We were only in Taos for one night and we very happy to have found this hotel.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The weather was nice.
Cons: We were not in the hotel that I had expected. We were in another location next door. It was not the historic Sagebrush Inn I had expected. It was more like a Motel 6 in a run down condition. The breakfast buffet was very overcrowded. The room was not as it was represented. We expected a historic room with vigas and a kiva fireplace. Instead it was a shabby motel room on the second floor.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The breakfast was fresh and hot. The bed in back bedroom was comfortable. Drive to park for shopping and Kitt Carson museam etc was convenient 10 minute drive.
Cons: Sleeping with fireplace glow was #1 interest in hotel. After 2 notifications to front desk 5 hours apart, the bed still had not been made forcing us to sleep in the back bedroom away from fireplace room. The bed in room with fireplace was not cleaned or made. No firewood was in place as stated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, price and menu!
Cons: The stairs on the back side of the building. They were somewhat uneven and got quite narrow near the top. It was very awkward if you were carrying ANYTHING!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel. Fun entertainment in the bar. We were in the building next door so not much ambiance.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Staff members were rude and the food was horrible. Would not stay here again.

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing much accept that it was located in Taos.
Cons: Pretty much everything. It is dated/old and rundown. Taos had recently received snow and staff failed to remove snow in timely manner and it was just an ice rink in front of all the rooms. Walked into room and it was around 50 degrees.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Fireplace, historic building, leafy grounds.
Cons: Way overpriced for what we got. No reception; never saw proprietor. Tiny, dark 12X14 room plus bath with almost no natural light. Only other room rented was directly overhead, and neighbors paced loudly at 6:30 a.m. Housekeeping was minimal, and room and grounds suffer deferred maintenance. For this price, breakfast should be included. No access to a central living room/library as described in the guest guide. Three old parked cars going nowhere added a dismal touch. For this price, I expected more, and more was advertised. I'd go elsewhere in Taos.
6.0 Good
Pros: The room was cozy and reflected a historical perspective on Taos lodging from years past. The shower was good. The fireplace worked nicely to cheer up the room and provide a little warmth upon return from a rainy, cool October day in Taos.
Cons: The room instructions indicated heating was hot water base board, but no base units were to be found. The day after check in the heat came on as in floor heating. Apparently, the heating system had not been activated the evening we checked in. There was no functional TV and the WiFi was difficult and intermittent to access. The bedding did not really fit the bed, though the mattress and pillows were comfortable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Charming old buildings, small but comfortable room, friendly staff, good location (walking distance to a couple of restaurants, easy to find by car).
Cons: I thought the motel was overpriced, given its age, although everything did work. My room was on the second floor, up a rickety staircase -- I would have preferred ground floor. Breakfast was priced separately and was just OK (on the other hand, the restaurant area is awesome, lined with cool art and with big windows to the back lawn).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, rustic setting in an old adobe building, quiet
Cons: My room was a little smallish and bed was very high
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The quietness
Cons: The out doors could have been groomed

Pros: Man at counter let me change my room when the room he gave me first was at end of hall in a dark alcove .
