Pretty hotel on the inside. Nice view of the river. Close to casinos.
Super loud. Cars rev their engines all night long, I guess because the hotel is right by the casino. Based on the outside noise and the sub-par location, I wouldn't think that this hotel should get any more than 4 stars.
In general everything. Big fan of Four Seasons, and in St. Louis this is the only five-star option that merits the prices. Beautiful views of the arch, river, and downtown. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice spa and wonderful gym.
Got stuck here for a week... there was not a single day or night where service was seamless. From not restocking the coffee bar, to the bed being way too soft, to the key cards getting demagnetized and losing 20 mins going up and down in the elevators, to the terrible restaurant downstairs (service, food, kitchen wait times), to room service continuously burning our breakfast toast, a million of tiny details that had they been individual one-off's wouldn't have been a big deal. But one week. Every day and night, these tiny things added up to a constant annoyance and frustration, which was more annoying when the final check out and bill arrived (which again took 20 mins to correct the info we told them we needed on it when we originally checked in). Very disappointing experience from Four Seasons. We also skipped actual spa treatments, between difficulty booking times and the outrageous prices. Been to Four Seasons and their spas around the world, these spa prices in St. Louis made no sense.
Smells good, lovely facility! The spa is amazing.
The extra charge on room service is unreasonable. The initial desk attendant checking us in was dull and unwelcoming.
The view for all of the 4th of July festivities were outstanding! I love the line of bath products you had in the bathroom. My skin felt so soft after using the shower oil and lotion!
The price of things were all a little high. For the price of the rooms, I was disappointed how much everything else cost. A glass of wine was more than I have ever spent anywhere. I could have taken an all included trip somewhere for the money we spent on the 2 nights we were there.
Four Seasons Hotel in St Louis is a Luxurious property with iconic architecture, a multi-million-dollar modern art collection, and chic interiors. The hotel is unique in design but what really makes it special is its very own scent, created by a local perfumer.
The location of Four Seasons is a major draw for guests, especially when compared to other high-end hotels in the city. The hotel sits on the edge of the Mississippi River, overlooking the old port of St. Louis and sitting next to a casino. A cozy walk will bring guests to local shops, bars and restaurants while the Gateway Arch is a 15-minute walk. Three major sports venues, Busch Stadium, the Scottrade Center, and the Dome at America’s Center are all within walking distance of the hotel. Business travelers will find many corporations and businesses in the area, plus the Financial District is less than a mile away.
Four Seasons offers spacious rooms and suites that are all attractively designed with upscale amenities and many views of the city and Gateway Arch. The luxurious bathrooms are a main draw to the rooms featuring modern and chic décor, with their own TVs in the mirrors, a separate marble-tiled shower with a rainfall showerhead, granite countertops, modern lighting and fixtures, upscale toiletries, and magnifying mirrors.
There are many features offered at Four Seasons. An on-site restaurant and bar, rooftop pool, full-service spa, fitness center, and special amenities for children and pets are features at the hotel. The spacious 24/7 business center appeals to travelers with an agenda and offers a range of services, including laptops, printers, international newspapers, printing services, secretarial services, and office space.
Business travelers find this hotel suits them well, but well-heeled leisure travelers also take advantage of the luxurious surroundings and convenient location.
