10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was amazing.Menu explained in detail to us by a lovely little waitress. Rooms beautiful with a little personal touch. Staff very friendly and ‘smiley’. Overall a fabulous experience.
Cons: Had an amazing Spa Experience, Romeo and Juliet. The treatments were fabulous. The only criticism was that immediately at the end of the session our robes and slippers were brought to us whilst we were still on the couch! We could have done with a few minutes after the end of the treatments to gather our thoughts!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was fabulous. Beautiful hotel. Very upmarket. Stunning decor. Comfortable beds. Perfect location although not at ski lift. 5 min walk to small ski gondola. No hassle at all. Stunning spa with amazing facilities and pool.
Cons: No buffet at dinner. Set menu was very fancy every night and as a result we had limited choice so we ate at external restaurants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good hotel, great staff, amazing half board gourmet and the spa is just spectacular!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location, the hotel and the amazing spa with the roof open sky whirlpool,
Cons: The restaurant is impressive as the four course dinner adding a la carte menu would make it perfect, regarding the spa structure difficult to find improvements, if I could share a suggestion I would say: dedicated time slots for family with children and less digital equipment allowed in the wellness.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional hotel, great location, facilities, rooms, staff and food
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast selection and lovely dinners every night - fabulous cheese board. Wonderful way to relax after a hard days skiing with a sauna, hot tub outside and a pool. Having a ski shop in the basement is also excellent.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff, kind waiters in the restaurant, excellent food, great spa. Creative design.
Cons: The rooms facing the street are extremely noisy, we changed room after one night, the new one was percect, totally quiet. The minibar was not refilled daily.

Pros: The room was very clean and generally the whole house. Ski room was perfect, ski-boots were warm everyday. The owner was very helpful and kind. Also location was very good - close to skibus and supermarket.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel looks new, everything works. The hotel staff and Victoria personally. Large parking Good breakfast Good location in silence, but not far from the center Skibas in two minutes walk Supermarket in five minutes walk
Cons: The main problem is that the standard room is located in the attic, we did not pay attention to it when booking. As a result, it is normal for a child to take a shower, an adult person should bend in half. At night, getting up from the bed really bang your head against the ceiling
7.9 Good
Pros: Very friendly and helpfull staff
Cons: Some other guest were a bit noisy coming back at night
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Modern spacious rooms and public areas. Great choice for breakfast. Host couldn’t have been more helpful and was happy to help us with restaurant/taxi booking etc. Very pretty lady too! Plenty of parking available at no extra cost

die berge lifestyle-hotel sölden - Sölden - Building

9.3 Excellent (1,145 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderfully modern hotel with great staff ! Ideally located in Solden with great views. The rooms are large with such a comfortable bed. The bathroom is large with great towels & bathrobes & slippers provided for all guests. The breakfast room is huge, however saying that it is so very well run with attention to detail being 100% The breakfast itself has everything you could possibly want - wonderful all round !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Breakfast is delicious, SPA is very nice and modern, location in the centre of Sölden, plenty of restaurants nearby. Ötztal premium card included - free use of mountain lifts and also one entry to Aqua dome. I hope I will visit Sölden and Die berge once more :)
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Shower - Bath Tub Combination
9.6 Excellent
Pros: - Breakfast was great and they will even make and pack sandwiches for hiking, if you request it for a very small surcharge. - The people were amazing. We changed our reservation 3 times and nothing was a bother for them. They were always friendly, smiling and helpful. The people are the biggest assets of this place. - The morning news - specially made updates about what to do, which hikes to take, weather. Introduced during breakfast and prepared from the hotel staff. This came in very handy. - Indoor, underground parking with 2 levels, for free, accessable with room key only and spacious parking spots. - The menu in the bar had a small but very well thought of menu. - There is a fusball table in the kids area, which we as adults, used every night :))) - The pool water is perfect for swimming, but it is not ment for chilling - the wanter is too cold for that. - Location: close to lovely places to eat and everything really. - They offer bikes for free, when used in the village only. - We recommend the Blue Mountain cocktail - alcohol free, but awesome
Cons: - There is not really a gym. Instead of offering the paid massage chair, the hotel can put a bench and more weights. This can really improve the morning workout. - The pillows were uncomfortable. - The mattress was not a double one, but two single ones placed next to each other. For a couple, that is really annoying - the management can invest in a metres bridge or something of sorts, if they cannot afford the double mattress.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. Great stay for the value of money. Parking garage easily accessible. Nice view towards the mountain.
Cons: Nothing in particular.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Simply perfect - the holistic concept of natural design, usage of local materials and great view from Sky Spa. Ideal for relaxation in cosy atmosphere. Nice staff!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Top-Location!!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had one normal room which anyway was modern and nice looking, with all you need, including Nespresso. The entire hotel is very modern and the restaurant looks very nice. The breakfast was very good, except the coffee, and you can also order a la carte what you wish.
Cons: You have to pay for parking even if outside. The breakfast coffee is not good (like ordinary machine) and in the room we only had decaf for our Nespresso machine. The location is not bad, in the center, but with no view.
9.2 Excellent

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely small hotel in a very quiet area of Sölden. The Giggijochbahn is less 10 minutes walk away. The landlady is extremely nice and helpful. Big rooms, new furniture, small but well equipped bathrooms. Breakfast is good and the cakes cooked by the landlady are great. Small spa area with sauna, steam bath and infrared cabin. The hotel has an elevator which can prove very useful.
Cons: We were not aware that the spa is not opened every day.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great hostess, lovely modern hotel
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Mirror in my car was broken by other guests
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything! This is my favourite place in Soelden, I am always staying here ... last year they renovated mostly everything, now it is even better as it was before :-)
Cons: Mattress was a bit too soft for me.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our family had a great time here over the Christmas period. The location is perfect –a few minutes’ walk to the Giggijochbhn ski lift, just on the other side of the river, away from the main road. A ski room with boot warmers is provided, also a 50% discount to Riml lockers to avoid carrying the equipment in the morning. The covered car park keeps the snow at bay, there is a lift with access directly from the car park. The facilities are modern, the rooms are spacious, airy and clean, even the internet access was good enough to watch Netflix in the evening. We are looking forward to return to Hotel Garni Schönblick next Christmas.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room. Hotel has an elevator. We traveled with a small child. Nice breakfast. Most wonderful owner ever, very nice lady.
10.0 Excellent

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect hosts, very nice location, cozy and super clean rooms. Would be glad to come again.
Cons: The dryer in the ski storage room has been working for a limited time every night so you could find your boots a little bit wet in the morning.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location with the close walk to the ski lift and the city. We also enjoyed the use of the Freizeit Arena. It was perfect for a family.
Cons: The only improvement we could think is to add a small refrigerator and electric kettle to the rooms. Otherwise, it was a fantastic stay.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Just the location. And the view of the mountain
Cons: The space was very small in comparison of the price. The bad sheets were white-yellow.....very old. The furniture was old as well. The towells are changed once every 4 days The price was very expensive for what they offer : for 3 adults and 3 kids ( one 2 years ) we payed 2.700 euro !!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed staying in this guesthouse. The location is super, 5 minutes from the bus station and the Giggijochlift plus apres-ski bars. About 10 mins walking to a supermarket. The breakfast was super. There is a place for your ski/snowboard and also your boots to dry them out. With your staying there you also get a pass to Freizeit Arena (about 10 mins walking), where you can relax in different types of sauna or a big swimming pool. You pay there 4 euro for a bracelet and the last day you can get this money back. I recommend to bring your own towel as renting there costs for 3 or 4 euro. And you can go there every day unlimited! I highly recommend this place!
Cons: Nothing :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was ideal. You can walk into the village in 5 minutes. The rooms were spotlessly clean, warm, and mostly very quiet. The shower is nice and hot. The owners are very friendly. It feels very safe.
Cons: There is no kettle in the room or in a common area so you cannot make yourself a warm drink after skiing. It’s good for travelers to know that in Austrian hotels no shampoo or conditioner is supplied.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Close distance to the slopes, friendly host, very flexible in satisfying our needs
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean house, close to the main cable car in the ski zone, comfortable apartment with large terrace, well equipped kitchen.
Cons: No lift, the breakfast is very basic.
Bäckelar Wirt - Sölden - Building
12
9.2 Excellent (679 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Bäckelar Wirt in Soelden, you'll be near ski lifts, within a 15-minute drive of Stubai Glacier and Ötztaler Ache.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location very close to the lift station but not noisy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was outstanding. Hot and cold foods with more than one kind of eggs, bacon, sausage, cheeses, cold meats, breads and cakes. More than enough for getting started with the day.
Cons: Nothing. I wish we could have stayed longer but we had a long trip to our next destination and could only manage one night. We want to go back.
6.3 Good
Cons: To pay 50% of an adult price for 4 year old children that sleeps with parents in a bed and hotel has no extra costs is a robbery at a daylight. On top of that hotel has no will to make an agreement and lower that price. Because of that attitude I can’t recommend it.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Close to the Gaislachkogl lift, rental place on site, ski locker downstairs, pizza and meals available at reasonable prices. Owners were onsite and always ready to help.
Cons: Most of the action (restaurants and stores) in town is a little walk away, near the other lift, we didn't know this.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, room equipment, flexibility of the staff.

Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Planning an event in Soelden? This hotel has facilities measuring 2691 square feet (250 square meters), including a conference center. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Especially the excellent wine-menu.
Cons: Unstabile WiFi connection.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Overall, comfy bed, wonderful breakfast, nice gourmet evening meals on half board (see pictures), and free outdoor parking (or paid underground garage). From a non-skiers perspective, this place is a great wellness area spot. We have been to many ski properties, which all have to have wellness areas as I don’t ski (only my husband does), and Das Central has by far the largest pool/sauna/steam room/fitness area of any hotel we have stayed at. They also have so many relaxation rooms with day beds, loungers, and even heated waterbeds that you will never have an issue finding a place to rest between each sauna/steam room session. The best part is the included program of activities, from exercise sessions to sauna infusions to peelings and mask sessions in the steam room (see attached photos for examples). When you arrive, you will get a booklet of the week’s program, which changes daily. The sauna area is open from 14:00-20:00 unless there is bad weather, then they open it as early as 11:00. The gym and pool are open much earlier. From a skier’s perspective, while the location is literally smack dab in between the two gondolas Giggijoch and Gaislochkogl that are at each end of Sölden village (hence the name Das Central), their included shuttle service makes getting to/from the gondolas a breeze. My husband never had to wait more than 3-4 minutes for a shuttle, and more often, there was no wait at all (even on the return trip to the hotel). The shuttles are constantly driving back and forth with only a start and end time, but no schedule in between. If you arrive from the gondola, you get in and they drive you to the hotel. No waiting for other guests. They have more than one shuttle, which makes things very convenient.
Cons: My biggest issue was the lack of afternoon snack (aka Skijause in Austrian terms). Every hotel we have stayed at in Sölden, St. Anton, Ischgl, Saalbach-Hinterglemm, etc. has always had a sweet and savory snack (like cakes and soup/stews or sausages) from around 14:00-16:30 in their restaurant. It helps to hold you over until dinner, which we would always partake in because we normally stay in the sauna area until it closes, meaning our dinners started at 20:30 or later, and because the hubby is hungry after a day of skiing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely perfect food and drinks selection ! Gorgeous interior! Great location, extremely clean and comfortable!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a fantastic place to stay, the facilities, staff and location are all on incredible!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room and the shower were large. The private shuttle to the lifts. The food was amazing.
Cons: The toilet was a little too small. The high extra charge for water bottles.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely nice, helpful, professional owner and staff, high quality services, great location and beautiful view. Everything was perfect! Thank you, Matthias Gruner, for your warm welcome! We highly recommend this excellent hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and personal staff, for the price point a very nice spa and super ski-room facilities. Junior-suite very spacious and well appointed. Nice breakfast selection, covered parking. Good wine selection. (We had dinner somewhere else, thus cannot judge.) Would go again :)
Cons: We arrived quite late in the evening and found our room uncomfortably hot, even with opened window, using blankets to sleep was out of the question. The heating cannot be controlled by guests within the room. Staff were very accommodating the next day promising to turn down the underfloor heating immediately, albeit mentioning it would take a while to cool. Guests with the same experience thus should request adjustments immediately.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff and beautiful hotel. Great food too. We loved our stay!
Cons: The only thing I would say is that sometimes the room were a little bit hot... We had to open the windows which felt like a waste of heat.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff. Great location. Spa was very relaxing. Restaurant lovely, good food, with great views. You can hire skiing equipment in the shop below reception and ski passes at reception. We only needed to leave the hotel to ski!
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Check in was very friendly and the welcome drink was nice. The owner isvery friendly. The location of the hotel is nice as it is above the town with great views. The room had a nice view and was large and clean but could do with being modernised.
Cons: The dinner was really, really bad. It was the night before the bike marathon and they had an "international" buffet on offer but it was all cold and not very varied. The lasagne was tasty but cold, the other pasta dishes were cold too and the salad was drowning in vinegar. When I asked for some bread they said that they had run out.... Breakfast was an improvement and it was good that they put on an extra early breakfast for cyclists.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were great and the experience is very consistent. Food was amazing and plentiful. Excellent views from the hotel and nice surrounds. I'd definitely consider staying here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fabulous welcome in a stunning location - perfect if you're visiting the Bond Elements installation nearby. Great food, huge rooms and a fantastic view.

Pros: More like a small boutique hotel than bed and breakfast, Andre Arnold is perfectly located with a superb view (from the rear, south-facing rooms) across open pasture to Solden's signature mountain, yet close to downtown. Owners Nina and Ben could not be more friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable of recreational opportunities in the area. Our comfortable room had high quality locally-made furniture.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The family who ran the place were all so friendly and super helpful. Ben checked me in with perfect English. Mrs Arnold was nice and friendly at breakfast (which was also nice)and best of all she offered that I can use the shower (in sau a area) after all day mountain biking in the afernoon before I caught the train, even tho I checked out in the morning...this was a small detail but she offered it without me asking and it wad super helpful...for this one reason that they were so nice and helpful I will bring my family back to stay here. It showed they genuinly cared a about thier guests which is not always the case with accomodation.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was large, comfortable and clean. The owners made us breakfast earlier so we could start training early in the morning.

7.5 Good
Pros: Clean apartments, everything was comfortable. Good sauna and lounge zone is included, that’s a real advantage. The bus stop to the Gigiyoh lift is near.
Cons: The hostess wasn’t polite when we leaving apartments. Possibly it was just bad mood. We asked her for additional hour (check out time is 9.30),she told we have 15 minutes and should go out. It was rudely, really unpleasant and surprised. Also I can add, that the hotel location is good, but you really can find smth closer to the center for the same price.
