Pros: June 2019: Excellent Hotel in Solden, with well designed and finished room. Plus Hotel owner went out of their way to make it a pleasant stay. Good parking, 5 to 10min from the Solden centre
Cons: Breakfast was good, except the Orange juice machine..
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice, bright room.
Cons: Nothing really. Perhaps two pillows. Asked for an extra one.
7.9 Good
Pros: great friendly staff with personal welcome very clean and good-looking rooms good breakfast
Cons: pity that the accomodation does not offer the Otztal summer card; this was the only reason why we had to leave and look for another hotel for the rest of our stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Was very nice to given a welcoming schnapps on arrival. Very helpful when twin beds were not available. Arranged a sofa bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect locality, great breakfast, helpful staff.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was completely renovated recently and we really liked every bit of the styling, in the room and the public areas as well. Bed was comfortable and shower was large and perfect for a couple. Balcony was roomy. Breakfast was generous and made with care and great products. The owner, Karl, was very attentive and cared to have all our needs and questions answered.
Cons: The spa was relatively modest compared to what I am used to in Austria, but that's probably because the hotel is smaller than where I usually visit (I think 14 rooms total).

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel overall was a great experience. No complaints at all!
Cons: Not applicable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely helpful and provided us with best advice on where to go spending our time after skiing. Also, you can book some of the tickets or ski pas through the hotel. We booked the smallest room option. Still we did not feel it was too small as there was enough space for a closet and the suite cases with other non-skiing cloth went under the bed easily. I liked that the skiing equipment store room is on a ground level and that you can access it from inside and outside the hotel (with your room key card). And it was equipped with ski boots heating facility (very nice). The breakfast room is well organized and the breakfast verity is excellent. The laundry service is priced very very reasonably (compared to other hotels of the same level).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is sparking clean, amazing breakfast, 3 different sauna which was empty almost every time.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I liked the comfort of staying in walking distance from the slopes. We liked the saunas. And the ladies at the reception desk were super nice.
Cons: Breakfasts - such a big restaurant and we sit in the most cowded part of it, We also didnt like our name on the table (why and what about the GDPR?). We would prefer to sit anywhere we want to. Not close to loud families. The meal was very good though. Out room was too loud - people, who smoked outside the bar were right under our balcony.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel, staff and facilities were outstanding. Would highly recommend this hotel. And the outside infinity pool was amazing.
Cons: There was nothing not to like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect accomodation, amazing breakfast, fantastic staff and brilliant location. Will definitely return and recommend to others
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Superb hotel! Great rooms excellent staff and a good and mixed breakfast everyday. I would reccomend this hotel for sure.
Cons: It’s not a bummer, but you have to keep in mind that this hotel does not have a big lounge or bar for late night drinks.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location. The pool was wonderful, also the saunas. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Food was amazing.Menu explained in detail to us by a lovely little waitress. Rooms beautiful with a little personal touch. Staff very friendly and ‘smiley’. Overall a fabulous experience.
Cons: Had an amazing Spa Experience, Romeo and Juliet. The treatments were fabulous. The only criticism was that immediately at the end of the session our robes and slippers were brought to us whilst we were still on the couch! We could have done with a few minutes after the end of the treatments to gather our thoughts!

Pros: Everything else was fabulous. Beautiful hotel. Very upmarket. Stunning decor. Comfortable beds. Perfect location although not at ski lift. 5 min walk to small ski gondola. No hassle at all. Stunning spa with amazing facilities and pool.
Cons: No buffet at dinner. Set menu was very fancy every night and as a result we had limited choice so we ate at external restaurants.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The food was very nice and the hosts were very welcoming. The room is big enough and there’s plenty of activities that you could do here. So you’ll never get bored.
Cons: The bed is a bit sinking down, and the internet service could be better.

Pros: Everything!!!!!!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, excellent food. Very spacious rooms. Parking available. Intersport shop in the hotel.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast selection and lovely dinners every night - fabulous cheese board. Wonderful way to relax after a hard days skiing with a sauna, hot tub outside and a pool. Having a ski shop in the basement is also excellent.
Cons: Nothing ... we were a bit jealous of the families who got booth tables for dinner so next time would request one.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff, kind waiters in the restaurant, excellent food, great spa. Creative design.
Cons: The rooms facing the street are extremely noisy, we changed room after one night, the new one was percect, totally quiet. The minibar was not refilled daily.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The service was great everywhere (Reception, Room, Bar, Restaurant and Spa all alike), probably amongst the best I ever experienced
Cons: Alcohol is quite expensive, and at least Water (Still and/or sparkling) at Dinner should be included in Half-board pricing

A ski room with boot warmers is provided, also a 50% discount to Riml lockers to avoid carrying the equipment in the morning. The covered car park keeps the snow at bay, there is a lift with access directly from the car park. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect hosts, very nice location, cozy and super clean rooms. Would be glad to come again.
Cons: The dryer in the ski storage room has been working for a limited time every night so you could find your boots a little bit wet in the morning.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location with the close walk to the ski lift and the city. We also enjoyed the use of the Freizeit Arena. It was perfect for a family.
Cons: The only improvement we could think is to add a small refrigerator and electric kettle to the rooms. Otherwise, it was a fantastic stay.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Just the location. And the view of the mountain
Cons: The space was very small in comparison of the price. The bad sheets were white-yellow.....very old. The furniture was old as well. The towells are changed once every 4 days The price was very expensive for what they offer : for 3 adults and 3 kids ( one 2 years ) we payed 2.700 euro !!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed staying in this guesthouse. The location is super, 5 minutes from the bus station and the Giggijochlift plus apres-ski bars. About 10 mins walking to a supermarket. The breakfast was super. There is a place for your ski/snowboard and also your boots to dry them out. With your staying there you also get a pass to Freizeit Arena (about 10 mins walking), where you can relax in different types of sauna or a big swimming pool. You pay there 4 euro for a bracelet and the last day you can get this money back. I recommend to bring your own towel as renting there costs for 3 or 4 euro. And you can go there every day unlimited! I highly recommend this place!
Cons: Nothing :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was ideal. You can walk into the village in 5 minutes. The rooms were spotlessly clean, warm, and mostly very quiet. The shower is nice and hot. The owners are very friendly. It feels very safe.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Close distance to the slopes, friendly host, very flexible in satisfying our needs
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean house, close to the main cable car in the ski zone, comfortable apartment with large terrace, well equipped kitchen.
Cons: No lift, the breakfast is very basic.

Pros: Best location! it's literally on the gondola, close to bars and restaurants and there a bus station outside so you can ride to the second gondola / other bars.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location, close to skiing lift and centre of village was perfect. Bathrooms were nicely equipped and convenient. Warm water came quickly.
Cons: The kitchen equipment was a little poor. We would have appreciated to have scissors and more bigger tefal-pans to bake meat or eggs. We thought having a living-room instead of a kitchen as living place. But that was our mistake.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful thought out apartment, with extras like shower gel and soap. Everything was top quality, clean and very comfortable. Our balcony overlooked the car park where you could see the comings and goings of people in Sölden. However we were never disturbed with excessive noise. Everything was easily accessible. We had a fabulous week there. The owners made us feel welcome with kind messages and thoughtful little sweets and a bottle of water.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service - superb, Breakfast - excelent. Location - one of the best (room, car parking, close to the city center)
Cons: Dinner - difficult/complicated
5.8 Okay
Cons: Poor wifi connection in the room, Slow service in the hotel lobby/bar. We waited for 15 minutes and then left the bar without ordering any drink.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything; friendly staff, excellent service, excellent price, excellent food, room is very comfortable and clean, and swimming pool is wonderful.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Especially the excellent wine-menu.
Cons: Unstabile WiFi connection.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Overall, comfy bed, wonderful breakfast, nice gourmet evening meals on half board (see pictures), and free outdoor parking (or paid underground garage). From a non-skiers perspective, this place is a great wellness area spot. We have been to many ski properties, which all have to have wellness areas as I don’t ski (only my husband does), and Das Central has by far the largest pool/sauna/steam room/fitness area of any hotel we have stayed at. They also have so many relaxation rooms with day beds, loungers, and even heated waterbeds that you will never have an issue finding a place to rest between each sauna/steam room session. The best part is the included program of activities, from exercise sessions to sauna infusions to peelings and mask sessions in the steam room (see attached photos for examples). When you arrive, you will get a booklet of the week’s program, which changes daily. The sauna area is open from 14:00-20:00 unless there is bad weather, then they open it as early as 11:00. The gym and pool are open much earlier. From a skier’s perspective, while the location is literally smack dab in between the two gondolas Giggijoch and Gaislochkogl that are at each end of Sölden village (hence the name Das Central), their included shuttle service makes getting to/from the gondolas a breeze. My husband never had to wait more than 3-4 minutes for a shuttle, and more often, there was no wait at all (even on the return trip to the hotel). The shuttles are constantly driving back and forth with only a start and end time, but no schedule in between. If you arrive from the gondola, you get in and they drive you to the hotel. No waiting for other guests. They have more than one shuttle, which makes things very convenient.
Cons: My biggest issue was the lack of afternoon snack (aka Skijause in Austrian terms). Every hotel we have stayed at in Sölden, St. Anton, Ischgl, Saalbach-Hinterglemm, etc. has always had a sweet and savory snack (like cakes and soup/stews or sausages) from around 14:00-16:30 in their restaurant. It helps to hold you over until dinner, which we would always partake in because we normally stay in the sauna area until it closes, meaning our dinners started at 20:30 or later, and because the hubby is hungry after a day of skiing.

Pros: Extremely nice, helpful, professional owner and staff, high quality services, great location and beautiful view. Everything was perfect! Thank you, Matthias Gruner, for your warm welcome! We highly recommend this excellent hotel.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Very average place. Vastly expensive for what it offers
Cons: A coffee maker in the room!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and personal staff, for the price point a very nice spa and super ski-room facilities. Junior-suite very spacious and well appointed. Nice breakfast selection, covered parking. Good wine selection. (We had dinner somewhere else, thus cannot judge.) Would go again :)
Cons: We arrived quite late in the evening and found our room uncomfortably hot, even with opened window, using blankets to sleep was out of the question. The heating cannot be controlled by guests within the room. Staff were very accommodating the next day promising to turn down the underfloor heating immediately, albeit mentioning it would take a while to cool. Guests with the same experience thus should request adjustments immediately.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff and beautiful hotel. Great food too. We loved our stay!
Cons: The only thing I would say is that sometimes the room were a little bit hot... We had to open the windows which felt like a waste of heat.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Clean rooms.
Cons: No internet in restaurant and wellness area. Excellent in other areas.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff. Great location. Spa was very relaxing. Restaurant lovely, good food, with great views. You can hire skiing equipment in the shop below reception and ski passes at reception. We only needed to leave the hotel to ski!
Cons: Nothing
6.7 Good
Pros: Location was excellent
Cons: Found the staff to be quite rude, they spoke down to some of my friends at first I thought it was a cultural thing but after we’d accidently broken a bottle in our room and cleaned up they told my wife she shouldn’t party to much! As if we were a group of naughty children, to be honest I thought this was both very presumptuous and un called for, seeing as accidents do happen I doubt this is first time they ever had a broken glass, I wonder if they would advise all their guests not to “party” whilst at their establishment? Not convinced...

Cons: There really isn't anything I would change. We arrived by bus, and therefore walked to the Pension. The Pension is located above the main road and as such if guest with mobility issues may find walking up the slope to the Pension maybe an issues.

Pros: Gorgeous accommodation with beautiful views. Warm, cosy, great facilities (sauna, steam room). Tasty buffet breakfast. Pros: Great staff, convenient central location, clean sauna area, delicious and expansive breakfast!
Cons: Parking is sometimes limited, depending which room you get will dictate if you have one of the best views available in central Solden valley or one of the worst.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
5.4 Okay
Pros: This should have been excellent as the rooms are very nice however several things detracted from our stay. See below.
Cons: A lot. The kitchen opens it’s door to the stairwell all the time so the smell of cooking permeates to all the rooms. We had to put a towel under the door to keep the smell out. The balconies are “common” so people can walk talk or smoke outside your open windows. What a stupid idea. The cheapest rooms are very small and several have overhangs that mean the NEVER get any sunlight. Very depressing rooms. The service in the restaurant was terrible. They “lost” our order. Then on checkout they tried to charge be for a bar bill I did not have with no signed receipts.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location style cleanliness and staff
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Close to bus stop coming from Otzal and nice walk to gondola for visiting James Bond Spectra. Incredible breakfast.
Cons: I liked that my room was on the back side of the building to significantly reduce traffic noise but at 7:00 AM both days heavy equipment arrived under my window to dig up pavement! A bit of concern is that I saw 2 hostess/lap dancing bars close by.

Pros: Location very close to the lift station but not noisy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was outstanding. Hot and cold foods with more than one kind of eggs, bacon, sausage, cheeses, cold meats, breads and cakes. More than enough for getting started with the day.
Cons: Nothing. I wish we could have stayed longer but we had a long trip to our next destination and could only manage one night. We want to go back.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: very friendly staff , very good breakfast and dinner... and a very comfortable room absolutly we would come back
5.0 Okay
Cons: The food (dinner and breakfast) Noisy guests Small bedroom
6.3 Good
Cons: To pay 50% of an adult price for 4 year old children that sleeps with parents in a bed and hotel has no extra costs is a robbery at a daylight. On top of that hotel has no will to make an agreement and lower that price. Because of that attitude I can’t recommend it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, very nice room, generous size, great ensuite, amazing location, close to cable cars, amazing buffet breakfast, staff proactively arranged an alternate meal after I was late and missed half board dinner,
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Close to the Gaislachkogl lift, rental place on site, ski locker downstairs, pizza and meals available at reasonable prices. Owners were onsite and always ready to help.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay!
6.7 Good
Pros: Quit location close to center with restaurant & bars Newly renovated rooms Free Wifi Friendly owner of the hotel, with some personal touch
Cons: This is not a 4-star hotel - more like a 3-star The breakfast is extensive but with standard quality (no fresh fruit salad, very average coffee etc. etc.) Value for money - somehow we had the feeling that we are paying 20% too much compared to similiar hotels (e.g. Hotel Die Berge is almost same price) It seems to be much more price attractive in summer? The lobby is no lobby
