An excellent place to stay in the heart of Sölden. Great food serving breakfast and dinner. Friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel is conveniently located in the center of the village, a bit off two main gondolas. Rooms are decorated in a traditional Tirol-style decor. The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent and the aqua complex (sauna, steam rooms, jacuzzi, rest area) is very nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
I understand that some of the rooms are updated, but our room was not (although it was on the upper side of the pay scale) and the noisy fan in the bathroom and the toilet was going on for quite a while after you exit the facilities. Also, in the bathroom there was only one big bottle of shampoo (very nice though) but there was no body lotion or conditioner and the soap was tiny (half an inch by half an inch) - all that is quite unusual for a North American traveler. Also, nice soft bathrobes were provided but the slippers were not.
Very good food. Good location. Nice staff.

This is a hotel with very nice spacious clean rooms, a superb breakfast and in the evening delicious meals. The location is good but it isn't a ski in&out hotel. There is a perfect room for putting the ski's and the boots overnight. The wellness is wonderfull, clean and with a lot of different cosy corners.
You need to take the shuttle in the morning and the slope next to the hotel is the worst ever. Also the staff (except for the shuttle driver) is not always friendly. The hotel misses a soul, the german 'gemutlichkeit'. A hotel in that price range should be that little bit more. Be aware of the church bells in the morning at 6AM.
The food, both breakfast and dinner was excellent and plentiful. The Acqua/Spa facilities were great.
Small, shabby, old fashioned rooms that are well past their refurbishment date. An overall feeling of mean-ness. One duvet on a double bed. Only one pillow. Small, thin towels. Garden furniture in the room. Boring, empty bar.
A stay at Alpina places you in the heart of Soelden, steps from Ötztaler Ache and 4 minutes by foot from Freizeit Arena. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
