Pros:
Thrifty car location was not on Hollywood Ave. So I went to the airport and the Thrify booth was closed with a sign saying go to the Hertz Booth where the man was very rude and told me he did not do third party rentals. So he wanted to rent me a Hertz car completely ignoring the reservation I had and the charges that were paid the day before online and he would not listen to me. He was RACIST and Rude at the Hertz Booth and tried to duplicate charge my card for another rental. He refuse to correct the problem which I was not able to rent a car. My card will be refunded as i recurved a letter saying it would.Cons:
First of all you did not tell me that Thrify was closed down on Hollywood Avenue Sevondly you did not tell me that the Thrify Booth was closed and that people would be sent to Hertz where this same older Racist rude white man would say I don’t do third party rentals this is my second experience with him.2.0 Poor

They charge me twice and have not give me the money yet back, i spend 1 hour a day trying to get in contact with them, you guys charge me when i request for the rental and the rental company charge again a day before returning my car2.0 Poor

Cons:
Was told that no cars were available. They said Mondays are their busiest days and they could not give me a car that I reserved 2 weeks in advance. But they could share cars with National and lend them cars.10.0 Wonderful

The staff at both Shreveport and at the Dallas Fort Worth facilities where very prompt and efficient. I was told to book ahead online to save time and money. I will use them again on my return trip in November.Avis

Very helpful and sympathetic AVIS staff. Reservation was cancelled at the desk with minimal issues.Cons:
I can't remember renting a car and being charged a mileage fee above and beyond the base price, taxes and other fees that are usually included in the quoted total. Even then, when I was presented with the "estimated cost" that substantially exceeded the price quoted on Kayak, Avis was only "estimating" 80 miles @ $0.30/mile when the rental agreement clearly stated that the car would be returned at a location >300 miles away! Very deceptive on both Kayak and Avis' parts! Thankfully, I had the option of driving my own vehicle and the reservation was cancelled.10.0 Wonderful

Had a terrible experience. Showed up to pick up car and there was noone at the Avis counter for 45 minutes. Then due to being overbooked my car was not cleaned or sanitized.Cons:
