Pros: First class from start to finish A lovely friendly welcome and nothing too much trouble. Breakfasts were beautiful from a good selection of fresh fruit cereal to full cooked - even salmon if you wanted Beds comfy and lots of beautiful gardens to enjoy

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was really excellent - a very good choice and well presented and cooked.
Cons: Because I was in a single room it was slightly awkwardly furnished - the TV and tea tray shared a top. Another minus was shortage of electric sockets. I have minimal gadgets but had to unplug either TV or kettle to find a socket for charging.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Welcomed on arrival with cake and tea. Owner was very friendly and could not do enough for us even though partner was away. Lovely room and breakfast was excellent. Also good referral of where to go for dinner on second night
Cons: Nothing - everything was excellent
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent with some interesting options if required. The bed was comfortable. The shower was good for temperature and pressure but perhaps the height adjustment could be improved if the hose was threaded through the hole in the attached soap tray. The television was not working but was fixed on the same day that I reported it-excellent. A warm and welcoming couple run the place.
Cons: There is not much wrong here. I would prefer to see the main breakfast options written down rather than spoken. The television in the room was at an uncomfortable height, although I did not watch it much.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Owners so friendly and obliging
Cons: Nothing

Cons: No complaints whatsoever.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had an amazing time. I was traveling alone and it was great value to find a single room. The room was lovely and the perfect size for a solo traveler. The bathroom was very clean and came with everything you would need. The location was very convenient, you can easily walk to the train station, the old village or the beach, and the nearest bus stop is barely 3min away. But the best part of my stay is that it felt just like home, thanks to Pearly and Mark's attentions. The breakfast in particular was absolutely fantastic (and that is still an understatement) and they gave me a lot of advice and ideas on how to make the most of my short stay. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and would more than happily stay there again.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Owners couldn't have been more helpful. We had a few days there celebrating our Golden wedding and when they realised that they gave us a card and some chocolates! The place is spotlessly clean and they always seem to go the extra mile to make your stay special. We would highly recommend it. Location is great as well, handy for lots of local restaurants.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ideal position for my stay it was a spacious room great parking
9.0 Excellent
Pros: In a quiet location within easy walking distance or a short drive of the coast. We opted for the suite because of the length of our stay, it was lovely to have a comfortable seating area in the room and the extra dressing room to keep our cases. The team seem to have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable including a silent fridge with fresh milk and water delivered each day. Great to have the off street parking too.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly team. Walkable to shore and lovely cosy lounge. Paolo was extra helpful. We will definitely come back:)
Cons: Beds were a bit too soft for my parents and uncle
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I stayed 5 nights, mainly to go to the annual Scooter Rally. Breakfast was very good, with a wide choice of cereals, yogurts, fruit juices and fresh fruit being available. The cooked breakfast option could be "customized" allowing for a wide choice. I'd booked as for a single room but for no extra charge was put in a decent sized comfortable double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided along with a small fridge and bottle of fresh milk and a half litre of mineral water, both of which were replaced daily. The landlord was friendly and very helpful, giving advice on places to visit and good places to eat and drink as well as discount vouchers etc. The car park seemed big enough for about 8 cars and there was street parking available just outside the B and B. Plenty of room to park scooters.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is very clean, the rooms are comfortable and have all amenities, the bathrooms are clean and bright; the breakfast is great, the home made jams are amazing.m; has a lovely little garden and is a pleasant stroll to the sea. Paolo and Claire are excellent hosts, attentive and friendly.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The motto of the Kenbury could be 'nothing's too much trouble'. They genuinely want you to have a lovely stay. It's in a quiet residential area just a few minutes' walk from the train and bus stations and the town; in the other direction, a few minutes from the coastline. This was my second visit; the welcome was just as warm, the bed just as comfortable and the breakfast just as good as before, with the added bonus of Paulo's Mum's homemade apricot jam. Excellent!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Bed v comfy
Cons: Brand of breakfast tea
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were all friendly, breakfast was lovely. Attention to detail amazing. Helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. Overall a wonderful stay, we didn't want to leave.
Cons: The shower was a little awkwardly laid out and on the small side.
6.7 Good
Pros: The family room was great, the children were actually in their adjoining room with their own telly. The fridge in the room was a nice touch, lots of tea, coffee and hot chocolate with fresh milk - fab.
4.7 Okay
Pros: This B&B is nice enough for a short stay with friendly staff and a good breakfast. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of extras in the room. The bar is reasonably priced and our stay was comfortable overall.
Cons: The Kenbury is in need of refurbishment. The bathrooms are too small and very outdated. The common areas are clean but have old and outdated furniture in it. New carpets and some fresh wallpaper will make this place a lot more inviting.
7.7 Good
Pros: Welcoming, nice clean rooms and great breakfast
Cons: No complaints
6.3 Good
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, breakfast was excellent
7.3 Good
Pros: All the staff at the Kenbury were very friendly & helpful, especially Vikky. The room was great and the separate room (plusTV) for our son was an added bonus. The breakfast was lovely and the fresh fruit at breakfast and the fridge & fresh milk in the room are special touches for a B&B. Shanklin has a number of good restaurants and the Kenbury has a good location for both the town & the beach. We would definitely stay again.
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: It was a convenient location and the overall quality good. the staff worked hard and looked after you well.

The breakfast is superb (one of the best I have ever been served) with everything being freshly cooked and a huge selection of goodies to start your day. John & Hayley are excellent hosts who go above and beyond to ensure that your stay with them is comfortable and a pleasure. The guide which is in every room is a godsend with plenty of information which will help you in and around Shanklin. The hosts prepare a tasty breakfast; and guests can make use of The Ryedale's dining room space on a night-in having a takeaway. You get free parking at Shanklin station with your booking at The Ryedale, as well as a discount for the Ferry crossing.

Plenty of leaflets giving details of things to do in the Isle of Wight. Very quiet area and hotel quiet. Would recommend this hotel.

There’s a lounge where you can make yourself a drink (good selection) hot or cold, plus some home made cakes (baked by Sharon) should you fancy one - for which there’s an honesty box for a donation. Also a fridge with bottles of cold water should you wish to purchase. Nice selection of breakfast items, including croissants, and numerous locally produced jams, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, fruit juice, not to mention full English breakfast which was very good.
