Friendly staff, great location
Difficult to heat when the weather is cool
Location, comfort, clean rooms every day, and friendly staff.
Could hear the neighbours in the room next to us. If they're loud and noisy, then you're probably going to be disturbed because we certainly were.
Location, staff And they have an association with a gym around the corner so you can go do a workout of swim
Wasn’t too far from attractions however homeless people at the traffic lights directly outside the hotel.
Hotel room was dirty, as soon as I walked in I stead on a hair grip and a clothes tag. The smell in the room smelt like rotten fruit, so I went to open the window and the latch on it was covered in dust. And the view was a brick wall. The air conditioning was covered in dust so I didn’t want to use that meaning when it was cold I couldn’t heat the room up. The bathroom window sill was wooden and in the shower, it looks like it is rotting from the water and just looks dirty. There’s so much furniture in the room that two peoples suitcases would definitely not fit in with all their stuff. Not only did I have the bedroom and tiny bathroom, BUT there was a weird, creepy, dark, dingy and dirty tiny room the size of a wardrobe with a mirror and iron in, the floor was coming away from the bottom so there was huge gaps. I don’t know what this weird room would be used for because you would never want to sit in there to get ready! So I tried to close the door and forget it was there because it was so creepy but of course the latch had gone and so the door would just stay fully open! So I had to get tissue and push it into where the latch would be to hold the door shut. The hotel hallways themselves are dark and creepy. Overall, I think the rooms need to cleaned properly, the smell needs to be looked at because that rotten smell did not go for my whole stay, there needs to be some sort of better lighting in the hallways so they are not so sketchy and the dark carpeted hallways need to be changed because it’s so dated and was extremely hard to shell my suitcase on. And thank god no one was in the lift with me cause it looked like something out of a horror movie - wooden and blood red. I paid for a superior queen room and I do not feel that I got that at all.
The Hotel was very welcoming. Nice common areas to spend with friends / family. I prefer boutique hotels and staying near locals.
