Great location! Very comfortable bed!
Absolutely nothing. This hotel is garbage. The whole thing should be closed down.
The location is in the worst neighborhood in all of San Francisco. There were disgusting homeless people on every sidewalk as we drove thru the neighborhood to get to the hotel. People using drugs, trash everywhere. Prostitutes on every corner. The facilities were old and dated. The room was so disgustingly dirty. I felt like I was going to get a disease by just walking on the carpet. Forget about using the toilet or the shower. Both were filthy. There was even a member of the hotel who was right outside the front door (less than 10 ft) puffing on his nasty cigarette as we walked in. That perfectly set the tone. The hotel seems likes somewhere a very trashy type might take the local tran*y prostitute he just picked up on the outside street corner into a seedy motel for s*x. Right after getting alcohol poisoning at the dive bar around the corner. The beds were also so uncomfortably hard. This hotel is really more appropriate for one that rents by the hour! To top it all off, as if the above was not bad enough. There were sirens going off the entire time as well as construction and loud noises all night. It was impossible to get any rest. The A/C also was so gross we could not even use it. It was old, stunk like cheap s*x, filth everywhere. Worst hotel I have ever stayed @ in SF. And we are talking about dozens of stays over a 10 year period!
Champagne at 5 p.m. Bed very comfortable.
access to the closet was difficult, covered by chains.
I liked the hotel gym equipment, the staff, the location
The location is great if you want to be close to Union Square. Getting Uber or Lyft is easily acceptable. I stayed here while my partner was at the hospital, CPMC. It was close enough to take a short Uber but far enough away to be in a better neighborhood than the location of the hospital.
slow elevators and loud AC unit in room
