Fantastic location in downtown SF. Rooms were really clean, modern, and new. The windows were basically non-functional in my particular room, but YMMV. For the purposes of having a nice place to sleep each night, this was perfect.

Pros (+) The location was great for my work trip in San Francisco. The price was great as well! It looks like it's getting an upgrade next year, that I think will be great! The room was clean and it was all I needed for my trip.
Cons (-) My room didn't have shampoo, soap or even a drinking cup for water, and the building didn't have any sort of drinks machine. I think with a little more attention to details like that, this hotel could be really great.

Cons (-) Although we booked a room with a queen-size bed, we were given a room with a double bed. The bed was too small and the room too stuffy/hot, so we asked to change rooms. They were booked and refused to switch rooms, so we ended up getting a last-minute hotel room nearby. Pros (+) It was basically in union square. The hotel was cleanly and the front desk staff where friendly. Breakfast was minimal but appreciated.
Cons (-) It was excruciatingly small. I don't mind a smaller room but I tripped over the bed, chair, and cords many times! The cleaning staff knocked on our door at 9:00 am each morning! Come on, we wanted to sleep in on our vacation!

When I arrived, they informed me that there had been a bookkeeping mistake and they had overbooked for the second night.
