View from our room was amazing. Checkin ran smoothly even with several people checking in at the same time. Great location for walking to many of activities an restaurants
$40 for overnight parking? Breakfast options are minimal
The view was wonderful.
It would be great if you could cure Covid.
Entire place is under construction. Parking was expensive even by hotel standards plus additional destination fee added on an additional $120 to an already expensive room. Huge lines for slow elevators. For price, room was small, poorly appointed and lacking in amenities. This was a really disappointing and lackluster hotel experience.
The staff was incredibly nice
Was there only one night, didn’t find anything to improve upon
Beautiful rooms and great view
Clean updated rooms
Bed was comfortable. The shower was spacious with great water pressure.
Needs more food options or restaurants
Nice accommodations and great ocean view.
Parking was extremely limited and very expensive. Had to call in for basic toiletries as they are available but not in room.
Views Large king bed Activities in and around Near gas lamp District
Self parking fee - 35 (50 deposit) Better soundproof doors closer to elevators Near gas lamp district
Very nice hotel
The decor was amazing throughout the hotel. The foyer/lobby was stunning along with the rooms. We stayed in the Harbor Tower on the 23rd floor. The view was spectacular. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only problem we had was with our TV to where we couldn't order movies one night. The night manager gave us a $100 credit which was very satisfactory. I would definitely stay here again.
The food at the Market wasn't good. I had a turkey sandwich from the refrigerated section and the bread was very stale. My wife ordered a bagel with cream cheese and she could hardly bite into it.
The Grand Hyatt San Diego puts guests right on the waterfront in one of the American's most beautiful cities. San Diego's waterfront is a bustling place, with plenty of dining, retail, and entertainment options for those visiting San Diego for business and pleasure. The Grand Hyatt is also a great place for those who want to adventure through the natural beauty of Southern California outside of the city.
The Grand Hyatt San Diego has two different kinds of accommodations: rooms and suites. Rooms come in several different floor plans, some of which have a breathtaking view of the city while others overlook the water. The suites offer a more spacious hotel experience along with separate, distinct areas. These range from the 700 square foot Signature Suite up to the massive 1,450 square foot Penthouse Suite with distinct dining and seating areas.
Behind the Grand Hyatt San Diego is Sally's Fish House & Bar. This primarily outdoor restaurant backs right up to the marina, so diners can watch the waves roll in along with the many different boats. Considering this restaurant is literally steps from the ocean, guests shouldn't be surprised that it offers some of the freshest seafood around. Sally's signature dishes include seafood paella, seared ahi tuna, and provencal grilled swordfish.
