    The view from the room.

The room smells of mold/mildew the entire time from the air conditioning. It's dirty. I actually washed the windows myself so that we could see out of them. I also bought air freshener to try to mask the mold smell. The bathroom started to have a strong odor of urine after several days from not being cleaned properly. The bathroom also intermittently smelled of gas fumes or something. We waited an hour for 2 drinks. The entrance door to the room was not secure, I could gently push the door with my finger on the corners opposite the hinges and the door would bend open. The breakfast was absolutely horrible. The employees don't greet you good morning/good afternoon/good evening unless you greet them firt. The receptionist tried to charge me a fee stating that I took something from the minibar. After I asked her what was missing and she made a few phone calls she finally agreed with me that nothing was missing. She did not even offer me an apology. I would never stay at this place again.

The small swimming pool The pier with bar and seating Access to the sea to swim and snorkel

2 staff members showed us to our room - helped with cases and then we had to check and sign for items in the mini bar. They left and I checked the bedroom and bathroom - well, it just wasn't clean. Hairs on the bathroom basin, toilet seat & floor. No toilet paper or fresh toiletries. Only 1 towel. Beds didn't look fresh. Room smelled musty; as though it hadn't been used in a long while. The room was on floor 3. I just can't believe that the room passed inspection for new occupancy! We complained and, to be fair, the staff appeared shocked and were very upset. We were offered an alternative room on floor 4. This was much better - clean, fully stocked bathroom and fresh looking beds. There was no musty smell either. The rooms were both very spacious. The lobby of the hotel is modern & fresh but once in the elevator to the rooms it all changes. The glass elevator gives views of the beach & sea; if you don't mind the dirty, streaked glass. This hotel has obviously had some updating but not in the bedrooms we saw. Dark wood ceilings & furniture made the rooms gloomy. The beds weren't brilliant but not dreadful. The furnishings were old fashioned ( shabby not shabby chic!). The AC unit was quite noisy but at least it worked. The safe worked too. Ample hot water in the shower. The absolute saving grace for this hotel was its position on the sea front and the great pier with a bar at the end. You can snorkel or swim from steps down from the hotel pool area. Loungers, seating & tables made it a pleasant place to relax. We only ate breakfast once during our stay (thankfully only 2 nights). It wasn't very good and I'm glad that we didn't go for the all inclusive deal as the food didn't look very appetising.

The scenery, which has nothing to do with the hotel.

I booked specifically requesting 3 beds for 3 people. Even wrote it in the comments. Upon arrival I had to pay cash for the 3rd person. Very poor customer service
