9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great as it changed everyday. You get coffee/tea, juice, carbs and fruit. We were never hungry. Alejandro went out of his way to help us book trips/reserve a meal for us at an exclusive restaurant and also gave us tips on where to eat out. The transparent kayak company are literally next door so that was super handy to get to. The owner's dogs were also super friendly and gave you a lovely welcome every time you came home. Maui however is very young and unfortunately ate my trousers that were hanging on the washing line so I would take care in hanging your clothes! I was compensated by the owners however which was very much appreciated. They also went out of their way to make our 4 year anniversary special with a lovely breakfast. It made our day extra special!
Cons: The location is a bus ride away from the downtown area (e.g beaches, supermarkets etc) but it's cheap to get around and it doesn't take long. We managed to bus ride around the whole island in about 2 hours!
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: The Breakfast was not good at all, you get one portion, one day it was a dry sandwich the other day a Sausage, both didn’t taste at all. Furthermore two dogs are constantly walking around in the open kitchen, the hosts are also touching the dogs while preparing the food. Wifi is Not available in the garden houses where we slept, it’s only working in the Kitchen. The host was friendly and gave us advices for beach and restaurant, but when going there, these adviced places weren’t good at all. Would never suggest these spots. If you want to go somewhere from Nagano house you always need bus or taxi, it’s not located close to any restaurant etc. There is no real door between bathroom and bedroom, the lockers on the garden house doors are not very strong / safe. We only stayed two nights and we were disappointed, the good reviews, especially about breakfast, we cannot understand.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It’s beautiful house with garden and you can use everything in the house! Kitchen, free water, we could even barrow the scooter to go to the ATM. The room is spacious, everything is clean. And two very nice dogs! The staff makes you feel at home and welcome.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The only place I've been where you feel at home. It's basically your house, with two great dogs included.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to downtown, airport and beaches. Nice air conditioning. Cool garden. Helpful family-staff. Breakfast included. Fair price for the island. Two beautiful dogs!
6.7 Good
Pros: The people are so friendly and want to help you all the time.
Cons: The breakfast wasn't really good . You had no choice and they didn't als of you are vegetaris. So die can be better.Maybey they can have more place to sit in the garden of hang some hammockd in the garden.
6.3 Good
Pros: Very Comfortable room and A/C. Scooter rental was very handy !!
Cons: Breakfast was ok, it could been better! Staff make you feel like they doing you a favor for your stay.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Sunset in San Andres, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of El Hoyo Soplador Geyser and West View. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Sunset Hotel was an absolute pleasure to stay at. Honestly there is nothing they could improve on. The staff are incredible, the rooms are really big and clean, the breakfast offering was substantial and location was perfect if you are looking to be out of the bustle. Such great value for money.
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff and facilities were great:)
Cons: The fridge in the room keep making a banging noise which kept us awake.
5.0 Okay
Pros: I liked of the Cleane as well of the relationship betwen propelida.
Cons: Breakfast
5.4 Okay
Pros: We had a nice welcome with lots of helpful information. The breakfast was good.
Cons: The dinner that we had was very poor - tasteless and carelessly prepared. I am pretty sure that the fish that I ordered had been frozen which one doesn't expect being on a island and situated in front of the sea. The room was in poor condition, very dark and in need of a make-over. There is only rocky shore in front of the hotel.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, nice location away from the busy town. Good snorkeling in front of the hotel.
Cons: Little far from the town center
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is great, and was very convenient to dive (our dive center was next door, Buconos)
Cons: The pool could have been cleaner (lot of sunscreen residues)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location with super friendly staff and views towards the sunset. A dive center is located on the premises gives you the possibility to go diving just a few meters out directly in the water. Good options aswell for having something to eat and a lot of variety for breakfast. This is a tranquil place so if you are into relaxing this is the right place to be.
6.3 Good
Pros: Aesthetically pretty - room and bathroom were nice, WiFi was good
Cons: Middle of nowhere... I got there about 9pm and the place was total darkness ... no where near to get a drink or food Breakfast ok- no choice , I was just given something Pool is lovely to look at but they were using it for scuba diving classes
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I liked the remote location of the hotel. It was quiet and right in front of the ocean. You can jump right in from a rock and climb out and cross the street and get into the pool. The food was also delicious and the staff very friendly. Comfortable beds and rooms. The only issue we had was more with our own planning. We were there for the triathlon which took place downtown. So a golf cart or motorcycle to get from there to downtown was a must. But you can easily take the bus for a much cheaper price and more wholesome experience. We had a great time and will definitely be back
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were fabulous - so friendly. The hotel is so peaceful so it’s excellent for a few nights of relaxing!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Located in the southern part of the island, the place is very quiet and perfect for relaxing. The beach is about 15 minutes walking. The buses past every 20 minutes and they go to the town. The room has air condition, the mattress ir very comfortable and kitchen well equipped. And the owners are just amazing, they give you a lot of tips and a trip to the nearby island in a glass boat is included in the price. Overall we had an amazing time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We received a very warm welcome from one of the owners, who seemed genuinely happy to have new guests. We could park our motorcycle inside of the gates. The room was very spacious, cosy and clean and had a nice little kitchenette. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. This was by far the nicest room we've stayed in in South America so far. The location is great as well, since it's far away from the busy town (close by motorcycle) and there's a nice snorkel spot nearby.
Cons: Nothing at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts were awesome and extremely accommodating. They give us a great run down of the entire island, what to see and where to go and not go. The location is great and the bus system allows you to go anywhere on the island easily.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Adriana and Pedro are really welcoming and worry about a great experience. It feels great to arrive and feel at home.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic customer service!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location away from main town so very quiet. Owners were so helpful. Air con was excellent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host where amazing! They did all they can to help us and give a lot of information. The apartment is very conviniant and has good atmosfier, the kitchen is fully aquiped.
7.5 Good
Pros: Loved Pedro & Adriana - warm and genuine people with a sense of humour. Loved the location - far from the busy town part, but within a 10 minute walk you will find the best swimming spot. Pedro was a great communicator too - let us know to stop by the supermarket as there aren't many shops around the property; gave us a room that had cooking facilities; they even arranged for a guy to be at the property in case we arrived late as they had a prior appointment but they stayed as long as they could till we arrived - which we appreciated. They also did lots of favours for us which we appreciated. Do go out on the free glass bottom boat - it is such a treat which started our time in San Andres on a high. You'll need a scooter to get around but it is so worth it to get a real feel of the place, instead of staying in the busy part. Kind people we would love to see again.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: - Location - The best in the island - Near beaches, restaurantes, shoppings - Staff - Amazing, all the employees there treats you like family - Clealiness - The room and the other facilities are always very clean and with a very good smell
Cons: There´s nothing I can say as a negative point. There´s no swimming pool our breakfast but the cost worth it and you can have an amazing beach and a lot of restaurants in a 5 minutes walk range
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely view onto the beach; breathtaking sunrise and sunset. Soothing ocean sounds. Great location; close to the airport, catamaran port, restaurants, shops, etc. Friendly staff. Good a/c. Spacious balcony.
Cons: The lighting in the room was a little hospital-like. No bedside table and lighting, respectively.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The bedroom would have been fine for 3/4 people with a cleaned bathroom, ok size wardrobe and air conditioning. On the back there is a terrace with outside shower and it’s located literally in front of the beach. If you need a room in the center, to go enjoying the restaurants and the beach this could be one of your choices, considering the price

7.9 Good
Pros: The place is quite far from the town so prepare to catch taxi or mototaxi both ways. However, it's quiet and it was a problem for me to find a quiet place on San Andres. There are two rooms for rent. Our was rather small but clean and comfy. The elder owner lady was very nice to us, even washed our clothes when we asked where was the laundry nearby. To get to the San Louis beach you have to walk about 1,5 km. The seaview from the balcony outside the room was stunning.
Cons: There is no shop nearby.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Good location
Cons: Needs better quality service from the staff
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Squeaky clean
Cons: The construction of the two buildings next door is a REALLY loud turnoff.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and cleaningness
Cons: Some of the staff were not friendly enogh for a 4 Star Hotel
5.4 Okay
Pros: location to the beach
Cons: WiFi very very bad or non existent.. food lack of choices
5.0 Okay
Cons: the quality of food was poor. The fact that you could not even invite a friend for drinks at the bar? I understand it is an all inclusive resort, but you should be able to invite friends for drinks at the bar and pay either per consumption or for a day pass. I have been to all inclusive resorts before and that was a first. I paid $325 per day for a Junior Suite which was a joke. Curtains were falling down etc etc
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: We booked for 4 days and had to leave on the second day for an unexpected emergency. Even after having informed the staff they didn’t refund us any money.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location. The staff. No issues with the hotel staff or breakfast - both very professional.
Cons: The hotel needs to work on the water pressure (non existent) and on the WIFI - both extremely bad for the price. My bathroom shower knobs turned both ways non-stop - so I had to call maintenance to come and turn off the water for me.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Super clean hotel, good WiFi, good breakfast
Cons: Not a beach hotel
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautifull beach and the ocean color
Cons: This hotel right next to the water like ElDorado hotel. Thankfully both hotels have agreement to use their facilities.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was of high standard, rooms are spacious and we received a free upgrade which was awesome. Night shows by the pool and a beer great and reasonably cheap. Staff very helpful and polite, I would go back to this hotel, breakfast was great.
Cons: The one thing I wasn't too pleased is the amount of fried fish, I wish that the fish inhouse was grilled as we had to go out to get the grilled stuff. Not a big issue but since we are near the sea. I think an alternative is always great.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Caribbean Island Hotel in San Andres, you'll be a 2-minute drive from Islote Sucre and 9 minutes from San Luis Beach. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good hotel with comfortable studio apartments. Great location, right in front of the beach with many shops and restaurants around. Staff was really nice and helpful, especially the manager.
Cons: No Wi-Fi on the rooms, only in the public areas. Not enough pressure in the shower. Room could use some renovations.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Polite stuff, everyday cleaning room, good location, quiet neighborhood, fast solving problems, slow Wi-Fi in room. Reception always available, no English speaking but can find a way to understand each other.. Greetings for Manager Angela !
Cons: Nothing..
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was great: the entrance is just at the beachfront, but the rooms are inside an alley, so they are very quiet. The rooms have hot water, fridge and A/C and the WiFi works much better than in other 3-star hotels in Colombia. The staff were very helpful: they kindly kept my luggage after the checkout, as my flight was late at night. They also helped me to book a tour in a very good price.
Cons: Nothing really. The hotel exceeded my expectations and it's much better than other 3-star hotels in Colombia. Don't have any great expectations though, it offers just the basic for a short stay.
6.7 Good
Pros: Great location and view
Cons: Property is really run down and not worth the price they charge to stay. No wifi in the rooms the shower was cold and the aircon didnt work. Im not sure how it has the booking.com rating it has. Maybe 5 years it would of 9/10 but not now.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice place with Nice location
Cons: No internet in the Room
8.3 Excellent
Pros: - clean room, although towels were missing in the first day - very close to the beach - beach towels a provided free of charge - generally very friendly staff
Cons: - hotel staff organizes tours but with very incompetent organizations (tour was supposed to start at 9AM, finally started at 11.45, no information on what happened or if there would be a tour was given) rather book with another organization - room looked different than on the pictures on booking.com, not quite as nice as shown - no early check-in possible
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This hotel's location was amazing - right on the main beach strip and a 5-10 min walk to everything! Our room was bright and clean had a side view of the beach.
Cons: Only one staff member spoke English (and not very well). Dishes in the fridge weren't clean. Pillows were very uncofmortable. Very poor wifi in our room, we often had to move to the reception to get anything done.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great place, great location! Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable. Highly recommended
7.5 Good
Pros: Location, staff was really helpful.
Cons: Bed was really uncomfortable. The shower does not have a flower. No chairs whatsoever.

4.2 Okay
Pros: The only thing good about this hotel is the location, everything else is a lie
Cons: Check in process was absolutely horrible. Our room was ready but they wanted a bell hop to walk us to our room for customer service but turned out backfiring on them because the bell hop was busy assisting other customers and it took around 45min-1 hour to go up to our room. They also lied about wifi, as there was no wifi on any floor. The last day there was no electricity or water... also not hot water. Would not recommend staying here at all, not even for location
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Free drinks at the bar, centralized location (one block from the beach area) including the purchases of tours. Very friendly staff! No photos as the location speaks for itself.
Cons: A friend needed the bathroom and we were rudely turned away from using the 2nd floor public bathrooms because they were not a guest at the hotel. There is no phone or mini refrigerators in the rooms.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: It is a very bad hotel, dirty from beginning to end, noisy, just one elevator and the stairs are being repair so it takes forever to go up and down.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, Breakfast, room
Cons: Don't have a map of the island for guest guide.

Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A variety of options!
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff, food & locations
Cons: A bit worn down. Windows & doors wouldn’t properly close, so loud at times.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location was very close to the beach and main shopping streets.
Cons: Simply not worth the money. Would have gotten a 6 for half the price. Some examples below: 1) Wi-Fi is very weak, almost never working. 2) rooms are poorly maintained and furnished. 3) lightning in the bathroom is insufficient. 4) food is definitely not worth the money. We stopped having dinner there after the second night. And there is no option to book without half board. 5) staff could not speak English in most cases. They sold us a snorkeling trip on the day of our checkout saying that we would be back at 12PM (checkout at 1PM). At the dock, we found out that actually the trip was ending at 1:30PM. We asked the hotel if it was OK to check out an hour later and they claimed we had to pay the full amount for late checkout (half the price of an extra night!). Not flexible at all.
6.0 Good
Pros: The food was excellent. Breakfast and Dinner was provided. The staff was super.
Cons: They had some strange rule that if you wanted your towels changed, you had to put your dirty towels in the wash basin. The only problem is that it took us 4 days to find out about the rule. I had to ask for clean towels 4 different times.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service, staff is always willing to serve. facilities are great and there is the advantage to use the pool in the other hotel locations. Food was amazing and variate every day.
Cons: n.a
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is superb. It is right at the center of the island. It is very near many restaurants and the beach. We were able to use the facilities of the other Sol Caribe hotels for free. There is a free transport that brought us to the beach and the other Sol Caribe hotel. Our package had free breakfast and dinner. The food is very good. For dinner, you can generous servings of free wine.
Cons: The room we got didn't allow us to open the windows and so we felt congested. We wanted to breathe in fresh air and not rely on the aircon for air. The wifi is slow, but this didn't matter much to us.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Splendid view over the island from upper floor rooms. Surprisingly good buffet dinner which was included in the price. Location is good, staff is friendly
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location. 2nd room was fine. First was an ugly joke. 401 fine. 203 awful.
Cons: Check in staff rude and bitchy
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff is really great (all of them are always available for help in gentle way). The coffee-break has a lot of options (fruits, juice, egg, types of bread, etc etc) and dinner is OK. The location is amazing: right in the center!
Cons: The shower has some problems cause during the bath we got temperature variations in the water (even without touching the tap).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room large clean confortable. The bed wonderful. The food, too good
Cons: Perfect everything.

4.2 Okay
Pros: Not very much
Cons: The first room they assigned us was horrible, with humidity, the smell of confinement and the window could not be opened because there was a smell of sewage. Then we claim and move to a better room, although it is not worth the money we paid for the hotel. Transportation to the center VERY expensive and was not included. The very ugly drinks and the beach is not what it seems in the photo.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and traditional family home
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like. It was a great place to stay
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location! Near to the best beach of the island...
Cons: The owner can speak only Spanish....
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We liked the location, because it was 10-20 minutes walk from the nicest beach on the island and it had a more local feel to it. We absolutely loved the host - Janete. She was the most hospitable, family like person away from home you could imagine - absolutely amazing! The cleanliness was great and so was Wi-Fi. More on our blog thekcouple.
Cons: We didn't like the location, because it was far away from the centre. There's no hot water in the bathroom. More on our blog "thekcouple"
7.9 Good
Pros: Really nice location, for me the best on the island. The house is a family house and I appreciated to live with a local family.
Cons: We cannot cook, but they opened an exemption and we could use the kitchen.
7.5 Good
Pros: We enjoyed being in a quiet part of the island in a traditional old house and getting to see and be around local people. You can clearly see that the house is away from the city centre so if you want to be around bars and restaurants then book somewhere else or prepare to get the bus to the town centre. This place is best for people who want to be away from the crowds, see the real local people and be close to one of the nicest beaches on the island. From here, it is easy to walk to the other side of the island, you can swim and snorkel in many places. We loved the area and we were happy we chose this place - the house is very special and you have to appreciate it for what it is! We loved sitting on the balcony looking out to the ocean too! The owners were very friendly and accommodating and we would recommend this place to our friends and family!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Opal was really nice and helpfull. Beds were very comfy and a beautiful beach just 10 min away. Beautiful house
Cons: Not many food options around, but that's part of being away from the centre
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old style house, friendly host, kitchen facilities and location out of the main town close to quieter beaches.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very friendly host, safe area and near a great beach.
Cons: Rooms facing the street were noisy. It is walking distance but not very convenient for the beach.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfy, the private bathroom had everything we needed, and the room was clean. We really appreciated the use of the kitchen facilities and fridge. I got a lovely surprise birthday treat from Janette. Janette and her family were friendly and always greeted us with smiles. The Lodge was a 20 minute walk to Rocky Cay, a beautiful beach and Marine Protected Area.
Cons: It would have been nice to have the garbage changed once during our 5 day stay because it began to smell. Janette, the manager, was very attentive to our needs but was a bit controlling, for example she was disappointed when we didn´t choose her recommended tours. There was some extra stress because of low rainwater levels, which is common on the island at this time of year.

If you want to go to the center you can just rent a scooter and you’re there in like no time. We really loved it !

Pros: Such a nice family! Very helpful with anything you need or want to do
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Host was very friendly and accommodating. Since the hostel is a little far from the city center she let us park a motorbike that we rented in her lot.
Cons: The bathroom had poor ventilation so our bathing suits became moldy when we left them to dry.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: very nice lady who runs the hostel. you can get free drinking water and also rent a scooter.
Cons: you have to walk a bit to get to the road and then you have to take the bus to reach the city center.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Small, family run hotel in a quiet area. The Mum, Luis must be one of the nicest, kindest people I’ve ever met. It’s quite a walk from town and the main beach, so feels quite out of the way and solitary for lone travellers, but great if you’re a couple and want to be in a peaceful, relaxing place. The masseuse who stays there 5 days a month is AMAZING. She’s really skilled and experienced, don’t miss the opportunity to have a treatment with her.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing, the bed very good, the room very clean, bathroom very clean, they cleaned the room every day and gave us some advices for the island, booked a trip for us, get us taxis, they are very welcoming, free drinking water
Cons: It is about 30 minutes to walk to the center, the kitchen could be cleaner
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The attendance is very attention, receptive and educates. The room is very good, bed is big and awesome. The Hostel is very beautiful and the beer is cheap.
Cons: Don't has breakfast, it is not cool. The location is very good, calm, but is far away for center, near a 40 minutes walking. I like to walk, but at night is not so cool.

Cons: The cost was high for the value
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything
Cons: Almost everything was greit, the only thing i didn't like it was when i did the reservation my room was supose to be in front of the water for a nice veiw, and they gave me the wrong one, but i am very happy with everythin else
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing at all.
Cons: All of it. The place is falling apart.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The property itself is beautiful in a nice location
Cons: Customer service was poor, since my Check In that was a nightmare.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Never say no
Cons: There is no shuttle between hotels
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: The location and the sea view from the deck.
Cons: Everything is designed to be unconfortbale. Worst checking process I have ever seen. Every activity, like meals, snacks etc have strict schedules. Staff is not as polite as in bogota or Cartagena. Food is ok, not wonderful. Open bar is crappy, there are no fresh juices available. Facilities are old.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location and the staff
Cons: They need to make a renovation
4.8 Okay
Pros: Nice and long deck over the sea, easy access to swim and excellent water views.
Cons: Didn't like the food, impossible to get reservations to one of the three (menu) restaurants -you'll need to wake up at 6:30am to make a line for an hour to reserve- so you'll be stuck with buffet, rooms don't feel clean enough, too much noise at the hotel. If you want a peaceful place to relax and eat well/healthy, this is not the place.

Pros: Everything was PERFECT, especially restaurant food Barcarola and Mahi Mahi and I can’t forget the staff, CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Cons: NOTHING!!!
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The size of the room and bathroom, restaurants offers great choices of food, location was good too.
Cons: Swimming pool was closed
4.6 Okay
Cons: The first night I could just go to sleep at 12:35 AM due to maintenance problems in the room, having to accept also that neither the TV nor part of the lights work and a room with unbearable noise from street traffic. After long discussions with the hotel staff, the next day, they changed my room and promised me a 50% refund of the first night, despite my claim for a 100% refund. 3 weeks after my visit, they hadn't still made the refund and I had to contact the hotel to make a new claim. All a shame from beginning to end.
7.1 Good
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Staff do not speak English Wi-Fi is really slow
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Dining at the onsite restaurants every night was a pleasure. The two persons of distinction that must be mentioned Joel (from Bogota) and Alexander make for a exceptional dining experience. Accommodating to a fault, laughter, camaraderie and very welcoming. Those two gentlemen are assets to the establishment.
Cons: The rooms aren’t equipped with air conditioning units as explained to us by Maintenance, they are “Air-Chillers” so the ability to adequately chill the room was somewhat limited.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect. Breakfast is great.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Wifi it’s bad
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The beach was great, the room was big and clean, bathroom amazing, in a simple phrase Great Small hotel
Cons: Small pool, construction on-site
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff who went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed... Went above and beyond with trying to get us parasaling and made the trip worth it
Cons: The wifi could have been better but it got the job done
5.8 Okay
Pros: The restaurants are good
Cons: The hotel is way overprice... its problably worth less then half of what they charge...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly and when realized they got our room wrong they changed it immediately and upgraded us
6.7 Good
Pros: The breakfast very good, the location wonderful. The staff more and less, 50 % where polite, 50 % no polite. There was only one plug in the room, located in the bathroom, which I consider not enough. The mini bar only had waters, sodas and beers. There wasn't any " no disturb " signal or label to put on the door.
Cons: More facilities are needed, for example, gym or sauna. When we arrived it took as at least 30 minutes to do the check in, and taking into consideration that no other guests where with us, it is too much time. This hotel needs more technology to be more efficient. The hotel would close the swimming pool at 20 hs, and that is very bad. San Andres is very warm, the swimming pool should be available at least till 10 p.m.

6.7 Good
Pros: Kitchen is well equipped. Location is in walking distance to the airport, to the main beach and to a big supermarket. You don’t need to take a taxi. They have their own scooter rental (80.000 $ a day) to explore the island on your own which we recommend. WiFi was slow but worked.
Cons: Contact to the staff was not very personal. Nobody was around when we arrived and left. We always had to search for someone when we needed anything. General advice: if you don’t like mass tourism and duty free shopping you will have a much better holiday experience on Providencia which is completely the opposite of San Andrés.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: location, 15 min walk from center
Cons: Bed is'nt comfortable: we could feel the wood of the bed base, air conditioner did'nt work properly, was leaking all night so it got all our stuff wet and smelly, the floor was dirty in the bedroom and also wet because of the air con. No toilet paper in the bathroom + really bad smell. We told the clerk about the problems, we asked for a discount considering the situation and he could'nt do anything for us. Therefore, we told him that we would put a bad review on booking and the next day we've received a mail from booking with a noshow notification (maybe an attempt to avoid us writting or review?)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had enough area for everything. To have a kitchen and a fridge was very good. Although we booked a shared bathroom, the room next to us was empty so the whole apartment was just for us. Our flight was at 2:30 am in the night. We could checkout in the morning and leave our luggages in reception and go to the beach whole day. Later on they allowed us even to take a shower, which was awesome! We picked up our luggage at night and went to the airport.
Cons: The bathroom wasn’t in a very top quality. The coach in the common area was very dusty. But they didn’t disturb us that much.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best treatment you'll get, Juan is very helpful and nice, and will always make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your time in San Andreas. Thanks for everything!
6.7 Good
Pros: It was very noisy. The bathroom wasen't Clean and did smell. No WiFi
Cons: WE arrived early and it was no Problem to leave our luggage at the Hostel.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Shared bathroom but the wall between our bedroom and the shared bathroom had an opening therefore we could hear everybody going in and out, smell everything and lighted up all the bedroom. There is no window in the room and the ventilator did'nt work well, so it was so warm and had no air. Bed is'nt comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment we arrived the hosts were friendly and welcoming and check-in was seamless. The living arrangement was a mix of apartments and hostel rooms in a locked private courtyard. Although that meant living in close proximity to local families, everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. We had a private double room and shared bathroom, both of which were extremely clean with a no shoes and no sand policy. Towels were provided and fresh linen was offered mid-week. Air- con in room was a blessing. When we enquired about activities on the island, a chap was sent to meet us straight away and subsequently we arranged motorcycle rental with the option to embark on numerous other excursions.
Cons: Our room didn’t come with kitchen facilities. Bed was propped up on a wooden platform which did mean we got the occasional flurry of ants joining us in bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was nice and friendly... Close to the airport and city center
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent and Adriana was very friendly and accommodating. It's a great value for money and the bed I had was very comfortable. We enjoyed being able to cook our breakfast every morning in the posada.
Cons: Basic
