3.8 Mediocre
Cons: The Breakfast was not good at all, you get one portion, one day it was a dry sandwich the other day a Sausage, both didn’t taste at all. Furthermore two dogs are constantly walking around in the open kitchen, the hosts are also touching the dogs while preparing the food. Wifi is Not available in the garden houses where we slept, it’s only working in the Kitchen. The host was friendly and gave us advices for beach and restaurant, but when going there, these adviced places weren’t good at all. Would never suggest these spots. If you want to go somewhere from Nagano house you always need bus or taxi, it’s not located close to any restaurant etc. There is no real door between bathroom and bedroom, the lockers on the garden house doors are not very strong / safe. We only stayed two nights and we were disappointed, the good reviews, especially about breakfast, we cannot understand.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I really liked that fact that it was more of a "house" than a typical hotel. The garden is beautiful, and everyone was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Our room was a bit noisy since it was facing the street, but it was a good size. You can easily take the bus to any of the beaches.
Cons: I would have liked more fruit at breakfast and yogurt.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Hosts were great! Breakfast is very good, and each day they have a different menu. Rooms are clean and comfortable
Cons: Location is not bad, but you need to consider getting a bus or rent a golf car or moto to move around (but easy to organize)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The family are amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. We were greeted with an extremely warm welcome and they looked after us the whole time. Breakfast was homemade and yum.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The house was in the center of the island. Perfect for traveling in each direction of the island.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was there is no hot water for the shower. That's pretty much the whole island. It takes some use too when you are use to taking hot showers.
6.3 Good
Pros: Very Comfortable room and A/C. Scooter rental was very handy !!
Cons: Breakfast was ok, it could been better! Staff make you feel like they doing you a favor for your stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and communication of staff was very pleasant. Alejandro and his family are very lovely and attentive to your questions. They genuinely care about your concerns and questions. The location was perfect to us. It was approximately 5-10 mins away from the center of downtown but what is nice about it is that you are not too far away from things. If you want to go to the west side of the island you can access a shortcut very easily. Also you’re close to the alternative beaches which are not packed to the brim with tourists.
Cons: Possibly fresh towels every other day
Posada San Andres Ultd - San Andrés - Building

9.4 Excellent (41 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Located in the southern part of the island, the place is very quiet and perfect for relaxing. The beach is about 15 minutes walking. The buses past every 20 minutes and they go to the town. The room has air condition, the mattress ir very comfortable and kitchen well equipped. And the owners are just amazing, they give you a lot of tips and a trip to the nearby island in a glass boat is included in the price. Overall we had an amazing time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very supporting and gave a lot of hints. The room had everything needed. The location is quite good, more island feeling than in the concrete town. busses pass the street right in front of the location frequently, so a good bos connection is given.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We received a very warm welcome from one of the owners, who seemed genuinely happy to have new guests. We could park our motorcycle inside of the gates. The room was very spacious, cosy and clean and had a nice little kitchenette. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. This was by far the nicest room we've stayed in in South America so far. The location is great as well, since it's far away from the busy town (close by motorcycle) and there's a nice snorkel spot nearby.
Cons: Nothing at all
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, perfect apartment. The owners are very kind! Loved the stay with my family.
Cons: Location is a bit far of the center and san luis without a car. Although buses stop in front of accommodation. Other then diving there is not much to do in the nearby area and with bad weather (rain/wind like we had) is also not possible to make a boat trip.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were really nice, gave us snorkelling gear and swim shoes to borrow and even took us on a boat trip to one of the islands (all for free!) The location is great, close to a swimming spot on the west coast, but the sandy beaches on the east coast are also easily reachable by bus (there's lots of busses) or by walking. Definitely recommend! One of the best places we've stayed in so far!
Cons: It was honestly totally perfect!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Adriana and Pedro are really welcoming and worry about a great experience. It feels great to arrive and feel at home.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location away from main town so very quiet. Owners were so helpful. Air con was excellent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host where amazing! They did all they can to help us and give a lot of information. The apartment is very conviniant and has good atmosfier, the kitchen is fully aquiped.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly and helpful family run hotel. Rooms were basic but met all my needs. On quieter Southern end of the island which I preferred. Meals were very nice too.
Cons: Internet was a bit slow (and didn’t reach as far as my room) but that’s mostly an island problem rather than down too much to the hotel. Water temp to have a shower was chilly in the mornings (not a huge problem... helped me wake up!) but plenty of hot water later in the day when solar heating system kicked in more.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location for us was great and quiet but bear in mind it is one of the furthest location on the island from the town. The bus service from the hotel was very good and always had seats available. The pool was an excellent size. We were on a half board basis and meals were excellent.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, nice location away from the busy town. Good snorkeling in front of the hotel.
Cons: Little far from the town center
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. Gabriel helped us tremendously while we were there! It was wonderful! I can’t stress enough how great our stay was! The hotel itself is small and comfortable. I felt like I was at home. The view across the way is great and the hotel has really earned its name.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The customer service is great. We love the people who work at the Sunset Hotel! Super friendly and very accomodating. The location is beautiful and the breakfast that's included in the stay is great. It's also amazing to be able to cross the street and jump in the water whenever you feel like it. The water is so beautiful and clear - great for snorkeling or scuba diving!
Cons: The only thing I didn't love was out of the control of the hotel. The weather is really hot and humid in San Andres. This makes for great swimming and warm water, but not great for doing much else outside during the day.

Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
6.3 Good
Pros: Ideal location, close to beach, shops and restaurants. Staff at reception were very helpful.
Cons: There was often music BLARING at the pool, not conducive to relaxation! Also, the service at breakfast was quite poor. Even though breakfast was served until 10, much of the food was gone by 9 and cutlery etc. cleared from the tables. Night shows and aerobics/dance classes were advertised, but were non-existent.. at least in our time at the hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was nice but there was not a bright variety. The Hotel itself had a good location, close to a nice beach. Staff was friendly.
Cons: Sadly, the pool was not really enjoyable since there are constructions currently next door. Wi-fi was also really bad. Breakfast was nice but there was not a lot to choose from and mostly the same.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: We booked for 4 days and had to leave on the second day for an unexpected emergency. Even after having informed the staff they didn’t refund us any money.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Localization
Cons: Very expensive hotel for a bad service! They’re not kind and don’t solve the problems. Earnings and money was stolen from the locker.

7.9 Good
Pros: The place is quite far from the town so prepare to catch taxi or mototaxi both ways. However, it's quiet and it was a problem for me to find a quiet place on San Andres. There are two rooms for rent. Our was rather small but clean and comfy. The elder owner lady was very nice to us, even washed our clothes when we asked where was the laundry nearby. To get to the San Louis beach you have to walk about 1,5 km. The seaview from the balcony outside the room was stunning.
Cons: There is no shop nearby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The clean room, the tasty breakfast, the nice view, and most of all: the friendly hosts! Erika and her family make you truly feel at home. Erika is always reachable and very attentive. She went out of her way to help me with a problem that emerged during my stay, and I will always be thankful for that!
Cons: Everything was perfect.

Pros: The food was excellent. Breakfast and Dinner was provided. The staff was super.
Cons: They had some strange rule that if you wanted your towels changed, you had to put your dirty towels in the wash basin. The only problem is that it took us 4 days to find out about the rule. I had to ask for clean towels 4 different times.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really friendly. Show in the night was great. Food was good.
Cons: There was no wifi in the rooms.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location was great and the staff was quite accommodating.
Cons: Everything else. This has, without a doubt, been the worst hotel experience in terms of value for money in my life. Wifi did not work in the rooms, unlike what's promised. Quality of the room was extremely poor (door did not fully cover the entrance, no shower nozzle, unsanitary bathroom etc) and insolation was non-existent. We could hear EVERYTHING from the street.
7.1 Good
Cons: Food options
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was the best in the world. Claudith, the kitchen manager, was lovely and helped us with everything she could. Eduardo at the reception offered to change our room for a private flat so we could be quiet, as there were a couple of school trips staying in the hotel. The flat was being renovated but it was very spacious and we had room service. The food in the buffet was not very variated but good enough, in special breakfast. The hotel is well located in front of the beach and has swimming pool.

Cons: Wifi was less than adequate

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a nice family! Very helpful with anything you need or want to do
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Host was very friendly and accommodating. Since the hostel is a little far from the city center she let us park a motorbike that we rented in her lot.

Pros: very nice lady who runs the hostel. you can get free drinking water and also rent a scooter.
Cons: you have to walk a bit to get to the road and then you have to take the bus to reach the city center.

Pros: The host was very nice, he spoke fluent English. If you are searching for a quiet hostel this is yours. The AC worked well and it was possible to use the equiped kitchen.

They helped us with the tours and had good prices. It’s located beside a grocery market and it’s very close to the airport and to the beach (around 5 minutes walking).

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice relaxing accommidation, Laura was very nice and very helpful. The facilities were excellent
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property is lovely, large grounds, a nice pool and very clean. Hilda, the lady who manages the property, is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The bedroom had a fan and Airconditioning, and was very comfortable. There is a supermarket about 500 meters down the road, and buses to Central and other beaches pass often.
Cons: The property is a little out of the town area so there is no direct access to the ‘action’. However, the propert is a comfortable (flat) walk of about 10 mins, relaxed pace, to the start of Playa Spratt Bight where the beach is lovely and there are ample restaurants and entertainment options. You could also take a bus or taxi if you wish. The location suited me, but may not be for everyone.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We liked Capi's place very much! Laura is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is good, rooms are nice and the garden with the pool is just awesome! To the center it takes about 10 minutes by car and we appreciated to stay away from the very crowded center, so it was perfect for relaxing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Hilda is a great host and she really takes care of her guests. The house is strategically well located - supermarket, airport, city - all very close, and still it is very quiet. The pool is clean and a great refreshment. I can only recommend to stay at Hilda's place!
Cons: -
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We felt very welcome and the hosts really helped us out a lot concerning planning. Breakfast was simple but good. It was very clean, the kitchen was great for cooking. A supermercado is about 10 min. walking distance, the beach about 20.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The location and the place is good.
Cons: The welcoming by the owner was very rude. We came in at 4 30am and the place was closed so that is ok. But at 6am some people were leaving and their taxi said to them to leave us the key to the entrance and that we can wait inside because it was raining with no pace for cover. Then the owner came and said to us that we were not polite to wait inside and never introducd her to us. So was rude the whole time. Even told me 3 times not to put the toilet paper in the urinal even if she knew that I have been more then 30 times to Colombia(my wife is Colombian). She is not the type the manage a hotel, too rude and not frindly at all. We have never been treated so badly in ALL our travels around the world!!!!!!! Would stay away!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Laura is very helpful, couldn’t do more to make our stay comfortable. The location is good (about a 20 min walk to downtown) and set back from road so very quiet. Reliable wifi. Nice garden and pool.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely property in a quiet location. Pleased we chose here rather than the crowded tourist areas of the more central areas. Is a couple of kilometres away from the main shopping and hotel areas but a pleasant walk or you can catch a frequent bus. Accommodation spacious, clean Excellent breakfast. Owner very helpful and friendly with perfect English. Ideal for a relaxing stay. Also a very inviting swimming pool.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Nice facilities. Room was a good size with an ocean view
Cons: Only 1 thing asked for wake up service, but they never called. Luckily I also set my alarm on my telephone. When I went to check out the receptionist was asleep
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, responding quickly to guests' needs. The balcony off of the room has an exceptional view of the sea. The facilities are good (ex. there was a small stove top to cook). The location in San Luis is peaceful and beautiful, unlike other tourist traps on the island. The property is nicer than it appears in pictures! This is truly a place to rest, relax and enjoy one of the most amazing islands in the world.
Cons: There are several fans in the guesthouse, but it gets a bit stuffy with the window closed. Air conditioning would be a great addition, although we adapted to the temperature quickly.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Apartment was pleasant to stay with my family (2 children). Clean enough and owners gave us new stuff after requested. They welcomed us during the night and even returned a lost item! Very good price compared to others.
Cons: There are accommodations closer to the san luis beach (very lovely beach). In front of this accommodation is a small beach to swim, but not very comfortable. Good restaurants nearby are also rare (especially for breakfast/lunch of quick meals). Staff is very friendly.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Salted tap water, no A/C
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Taga, Mira and the staff are great and very helpful people. They do everything to make the stay as pleasant and interesting as desired.
7.0 Good
Pros: Perfect view from the balcony
Cons: The room is small, theres nowhere to have bteakfast around. At least they cold put cattle for guests to make coffee in the morning - for us this was a greate problem. No hot water. Cleaning was not every day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a wonderful time that we’ve spent at Yellow Moon. The owner, Taga is the best, he is treating you as family. He is very funny and told us a lot about the life at San Andres and was always taking care of us. We could rent his doughter’s motorbike and he took us to the port early morning after we realised our transfer is not coming. Like having holiday at your uncle’s lodge by the sea... We will return for sure! :)
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Small, very safe beach right in front of the hotel. Excellent seaview.
Cons: A little scarce options for eating during the evenings.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owner, Uncle Taga, lives up to his billing as being a most congenial host, The private beach is a real bonus. Good restaurants just blocks away. A short walk to catch the bus downtown. Spectacular sunrises!
Cons: Being an island, waterworks are rudimentary with gravity feed for things like the showers. The first night it was barely a trickle, but a little better on the second day. I wish the place was a little closer to downtown San Andres.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, lovely comfortable bed, great helpful staff
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The proximity to the sea and the breeze that comes with it.
Cons: The internet connection was bad.

Cons: All of it. The place is falling apart.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The property itself is beautiful in a nice location
Cons: Customer service was poor, since my Check In that was a nightmare.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Never say no
Cons: There is no shuttle between hotels
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: The location and the sea view from the deck.
Cons: Everything is designed to be unconfortbale. Worst checking process I have ever seen. Every activity, like meals, snacks etc have strict schedules. Staff is not as polite as in bogota or Cartagena. Food is ok, not wonderful. Open bar is crappy, there are no fresh juices available. Facilities are old.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location and the staff
Cons: They need to make a renovation
4.8 Okay
Pros: Nice and long deck over the sea, easy access to swim and excellent water views.
Cons: Didn't like the food, impossible to get reservations to one of the three (menu) restaurants -you'll need to wake up at 6:30am to make a line for an hour to reserve- so you'll be stuck with buffet, rooms don't feel clean enough, too much noise at the hotel. If you want a peaceful place to relax and eat well/healthy, this is not the place.

Cons: Few water in shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We felt very comfortable, breakfasts was definitely amazing (best we ever had), bedroom very tidy and clean. Common areas amazing with nice views. Staff supper friendly!
Cons: Internet wasn’t working most of the time.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location is great it's a safe area close to a nice beach shopping and restaurants all within walking distance. The bed is pretty good and linens are more plush and comfortable than some other hotels. The water is hot the air conditioning works great. The breakfast buffet is a typical Colombia buffet that you would expect. The food is pretty decent.
Cons: The bath towels are not very good and they smell. Also it's hard to get any room issues addressed. If you tell them something about the room they just say ok and do nothing . The toilets are extremely hard to flush and you're not allowed to put paper in but that could be the entire islands plumbing system I'm not sure
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful, friendly staff. Great location and finally, a hotel with rooms that were spotless.!!
Cons: For the cost of the rooms, a 4pm check in is a big ask. I understand there is a wait to clean rooms but I spent most of the day in the lobby waiting for my room, which was available after 4pm.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location and staff willing to help - not all of them. Restaurant options on the hotel
Cons: Flatiron not included, everything is paid apart. Laundry is very expensive. Hotel is very expensive for what it offers. Air conditioning failed on 2 day, relocation needed during midnight. Very poor internet connection. Wifi connect but doesnt work most of times. Almost an offline experience. Maybe the best of san andres, but for sure the poorest stay we had on entire colombia. Dont expect to come back. No good ventilation system on rooms. Too Late checkin (only 5pm our room was ready even they mention 4pm).
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The beach was great, the room was big and clean, bathroom amazing, in a simple phrase Great Small hotel
Cons: Small pool, construction on-site
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location beach front The staff was nice and helpful Breakfast had a lot of variety and the food was good
Cons: Wi-fi was really slow There were cockroach in the room Buffet dinner was disappointing TOO expensive - bad quality/price
7.0 Good
Pros: My husband and I had food poisoning from our previous destination in colombia and even though the rooms are a bit over priced, it was nice to be somewhere comfortable and clean while we were so unwell. Breakfast buffet was great and had a lot of variety.
Cons: We had to wait until 4:40pm to check in. Wasn’t the best while we were sick and needing to lay down. But asides from that we didn’t have any other complaints

Pros: Kitchen is well equipped. Location is in walking distance to the airport, to the main beach and to a big supermarket. You don’t need to take a taxi. They have their own scooter rental (80.000 $ a day) to explore the island on your own which we recommend. WiFi was slow but worked.
Cons: Contact to the staff was not very personal. Nobody was around when we arrived and left. We always had to search for someone when we needed anything. General advice: if you don’t like mass tourism and duty free shopping you will have a much better holiday experience on Providencia which is completely the opposite of San Andrés.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: location, 15 min walk from center
Cons: Bed is'nt comfortable: we could feel the wood of the bed base, air conditioner did'nt work properly, was leaking all night so it got all our stuff wet and smelly, the floor was dirty in the bedroom and also wet because of the air con. No toilet paper in the bathroom + really bad smell. We told the clerk about the problems, we asked for a discount considering the situation and he could'nt do anything for us. Therefore, we told him that we would put a bad review on booking and the next day we've received a mail from booking with a noshow notification (maybe an attempt to avoid us writting or review?)
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location was good.
Cons: Aircon insanely cold, and it’s either on or off. No changing he temperature. Bed sheets are far too old and small, fall completely off after 1hr in bed. Then your on the old scummy mattress. Shower full of sand despite cleaner just finishing up. No hand soap. Room and bathroom very small, with very low door frame. Hit my head twice. Paid during check in, but the guy didn’t have the 10k change. Said we’d get it later. On check out we told the other guy about it and we had to wait around half an hour for them to sort it out. We ended up on the phone to the owner. No communication.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had enough area for everything. To have a kitchen and a fridge was very good. Although we booked a shared bathroom, the room next to us was empty so the whole apartment was just for us. Our flight was at 2:30 am in the night. We could checkout in the morning and leave our luggages in reception and go to the beach whole day. Later on they allowed us even to take a shower, which was awesome! We picked up our luggage at night and went to the airport.
Cons: The bathroom wasn’t in a very top quality. The coach in the common area was very dusty. But they didn’t disturb us that much.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best treatment you'll get, Juan is very helpful and nice, and will always make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your time in San Andreas. Thanks for everything!
6.7 Good
Pros: It was very noisy. The bathroom wasen't Clean and did smell. No WiFi
Cons: WE arrived early and it was no Problem to leave our luggage at the Hostel.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Shared bathroom but the wall between our bedroom and the shared bathroom had an opening therefore we could hear everybody going in and out, smell everything and lighted up all the bedroom. There is no window in the room and the ventilator did'nt work well, so it was so warm and had no air. Bed is'nt comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment we arrived the hosts were friendly and welcoming and check-in was seamless. The living arrangement was a mix of apartments and hostel rooms in a locked private courtyard. Although that meant living in close proximity to local families, everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. We had a private double room and shared bathroom, both of which were extremely clean with a no shoes and no sand policy. Towels were provided and fresh linen was offered mid-week. Air- con in room was a blessing. When we enquired about activities on the island, a chap was sent to meet us straight away and subsequently we arranged motorcycle rental with the option to embark on numerous other excursions.
Cons: Our room didn’t come with kitchen facilities. Bed was propped up on a wooden platform which did mean we got the occasional flurry of ants joining us in bed.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good bed, close to airport, cheap for San Andres.
Cons: This Casa is in a place where many people share the communal outside area. We just wanted a good night of sleep as our flight left early. Unfortunately the people where having a party untill twelve. My earplugs didn't help either. I wouldn't recommend this place.
