Good design, comfortable
Poor quality of breakfast, lack of space
Perfect locatiin. Amazing stay. Staff was very attentive. They went out of their way to assist my mother and even drove to a local market to purchase soy milk for my breakfast. I'm in the travel industry and highly recommend this hotel
It was right in the heart of everything, but a cab ride from the train station.
The shower had no door and the bathroom would get flooded every time we used it.
The lady who seems to be the owner was really kind and very efficient. Location was perfect. We did everything walking.
The staff was wonderful! Our room was also wonderful! We would go back here again!
This is my third stay at this Hotel and I love the Innkeeper-Ulrike, she is charming, entertaining, always has a smile and kind word. The location of this Inn/Hotel is ideal for walking everywhere in Salzburg-it is so romantic to be in the heart of the olde city w/the Fortress high on the hill overlooking the storybook town. I highly recommend.
This is not a complaint but a suggestion. Our bed was an iron canopy bed, king size, which was great but it truly needed a box spring as it was so low to the floor and was almost dangerous to get into, for fear of brusing your self on the metal- I know this is quite European, not to have a box spring but it may be the time to upgrade- We do low the the down pillows and comforters-they make it all worthwhile.
Location, decent restaurant, price
No Wi-Fi, uncomfortable bed
Location, excellent service from Ulrike and the restaurant staff. Good food.
Disappointed to find the spare bed propped up against our window but we moved that so not a problem
Location
We liked the location of the hotel. Right in the middle of everything, walkable distance of all the important sites. The friendly staff helped us.
It was very noisy. We had a room that was on the street and the single window let all the noise come in and since there is a restaurant on the first floor the noise was from late at night and started again very early in the morning. If I stay there again I would ask for an interior room. I would also improve the breakfast with a little more fresh fruit.
the restaurant was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly
the shower soaked the bathroom floor
The last day we checked out and left our luggage at the hotel for a couple of hours, meanwhile, they realized that we had left shaving foam and some razor in our room, so they placed them in our luggage which created a problem when we were checking in at the airport, as these items are not allowed on planes. We are sure that they meant good by putting these things in our luggage but I think they should be conscious that these items are not allowed at airports
