Overview

The Hotel Goldener Hirsch, a luxury hotel in Salzburg, epitomizes exceptional hospitality and celebrated tradition. Dating back to 1407, it embodies an enduring symbiosis between the original country house and luxury historic hotel, woven into the very fabric of Salzburg life. Located just steps away from Mozart’s birthplace, we're a Salzburg hotel in old town, inhabiting the city's fairy tale setting with natural grace. Defined by its hunting lodge heritage, trophies and mounted antlers populate the walls, whilst the crest of a leaping deer is a recurring presence. Smartly-dressed associates, wearing uniforms reminiscent of national Tracht, welcome guests with a rare warmth that resonates across generations. Worried about leaving your furry friends behind? Bring them along! Our hotel is pet friendly and welcomes trained pets. Whether traveling with family or your special someone, our hotel in Salzburg, Austria is a perfect choice.
