Pros: The hotel is beautiful, the simple hotel entrance is deceiving. Behind the doors is a carefully designed and curated hotel. Opt for rooms in the old part of the hotel where exposed walls and maintained original tiles paint a picture of the tile factory that it once used to be. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was lovely. Located conveniently for IG worthy pictures and weekend markets brimming with trinkets, this hotel is highly recommended!

Pros: It’s location, unique style, with very facility you want in a vacation. Pool, dining and spa!

Cons: The wifi breaks down from time to time, but the most annoying thing is that one has to retype name, surname, email and country of origin each time one opens a device, even 15' after closing it for a while.

Cons: The front end of the hotel where we were staying has a DJ playing on Friday and Sat till 1am. It was super loud in our room and it was pretty bad techno. The hotel offered to move us the next day which was cool.

Cons: Hotel was very nice, just a little far from the city center; but the only thing that made me angry was that after using the Vending Machine located in the Lobby and paying with a 100 MXN Bill, it broke and didn't return the money and hotel did nothing.

Cons: When I did checked in they gave me a room who had not been cleaned. They apologized & changed me to a clean room. Mistakes do happen but the first impression was obviously not the best.

Pros: What I liked most was the staff. In aprticular the staff at the bar are so kind and so friendly. What I else liked was the staff at the breakfast room. They seem professional in their own "natural" manner. I felt myself comfortable!

Cons: Actually they aren't so many points I could count. Just the information given about my room was not identical to what I experienced. Also please make sure that drunk guests get what they deserve. Just because they are guests doesn't mean they can do anything they like.

Cons: The noise. Traffic can been heard on all sides. Windows are the issue. Need double pane. I think your aware this issue of all the past reviews. It seams be a constructional issue. Sure it’s price $$.

Cons: The water pressure in the shower fluctuated a lot so the hot water surged on and off all the time while running. Also the room was small and intimate without any privacy while showering which was different.

Pros: Good variety of food for the breakfast. Coffee machine and AC in the room. Good location, less than 10 min walk to the main square.

Cons: Not all staff spoke much English. No espresso machine in the breakfast room. A hand soap bar was taken every day and replaced (not always) with a new one.

Pros: Well furnished/elegant room and very comfortable bed. You can choose between quiet but a bit dark internal rooms, or rooms with a spectacular view of the city but a bit noisy because of the street. Breakfast is very good and includes both continental and warm Mexican specialities.

Cons: During the night you have to be a bit careful when walking back (<10min) from Zocalo in the city center.

Cons: Lighting in the room can be improved as it is very dim. There's no direct light over the table and I needed to work on my computer so it wasn't comfortable to work with very low light.

Pros: The hotel is close to all the sites of the Centro. The staff were super friendly. The room was spotless and modern. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The breakfast was tasty. The 2 complimentary water bottles were a nice touch.

Cons: Unfortunately, my room was in a small interior courtyard and it echoed quite easily in there, so the noise was a little distracting. (But as least it was quiet passed 11 pm). And the bed was much too firm for my liking.

Cons: The fact that the pool was out of service and we were not notified, also, some of the staff was not rude but not also very helpful, you'd expect that on an anniversary trip or any type of trip they receive you with a smile, but the valet parking wasn't even at the entrance, I hurt my arm with a fire extinguisher with metals exposed and the staff at the front desk did not exactly offered suggestions.

Pros: State of the art renovated factory. Great setting, good service, easy walk to the city centre.

Cons: I did not sleep until 0200 am. The noise is terrible. You hear virtualy everything. From the partying lot at night to the moving chairs or used toilets of your neighbours. The building is not suited for a hotel, despite the lovely look. The concrete is transfering and even amplifying every sound. The architect should go back to school and learn about noise reduction instead of estetics alone. Pity, but I can not recomend it. Fair enough, the drinks I had were complimentary after telling the reception.

Cons: There is opportunity in keeping the hotel up todate: floor in room was damaged by water and was very uneven. Also maintenance crew started working at 7:30 am above our room on a Sunday morning, too early.

Cons: This property has such potential. The location and architectural design are wonderful, but it is in need of better management and room reno. The rooms are tired and the bathroom and plumbing need repair. Hot water took 10 to 12 minutes each time for the shower. The toilet smelled of back up sewage - they need to have traps on pipes. We had to change rooms because there was a pump somewhere outside that kept us up all night (room M - first floor corner room). Because it was January the nights were cold and their dining area is all outside. They had heaters but you had to ask to have the on-and it just didn't do the job. The staff worn jackets and layers to keep warm. They should find a way to enclose the eating area during these cold months. No one was in the restaurant and they loose a lot of business. We ate breakfast with coats, and scarfs. Although the staff at the restaurant were nice, they lack training ( better management) is needed). no salt and pepper on tables, no butter or marmalade for toast ( toaster was there some days-not others) at breakfast buffet. Coffee often cold. Front desk wasn't much help - A concierge or someone at desk with knowledge of some very routine questions about Puebla would help. And the security personal at front door didn't understand how to ask a person entering if he were a client or not. He just followed my husband up the stairs in a very imposing and awkward manner. Finally my husband had to turn around and say he was staying at hotel. A simple "may I help you? Or are you staying with us?" would have been more appropriate. I understand the need for security, but there is a better manner in which to operate. I provide this comments because the hotel is beautifully designed and the location is wonderful. Pros: modern and nice.

Cons: the pool was closed and we did not go d out until after paying. The hotel we site did not mention it and the staff kept saying that it was listed. i asked them to show it to me and of course they did not find it. They could not care less about it. The restaurant overcharged us, we asked them to fix it, they came back still overcharging it. Finally they fix it after the third time. but wondering if this was a mistake or on purpose. The gym only has a treadmill and a very old bycicle.

Cons: I was very disappointed by my stay at La Purificadora. I splurged in large part so I could use the rooftop pool, but shortly after booking a nonrefundable stay, I was informed that the pool was under construction. When I checked in, I expressed my frustration to the front desk, as the pool was 90% of why I chose to stay there. The woman didn’t offer any apology or complimentary service to make me feel better. Instead, I was taken to an unremarkable first-floor room by a bellhop whose manner I found condescending. The room looked onto a hideous parking lot. I could have spent a fraction of the price to stay somewhere closer to the main square, with a better view. I carried my bags back downstairs, explaining to the front desk that I would like to change rooms, and the “flamboyant” (unprofessional) bell hop just stared at my luggage in a dramatic display that I suppose he found funny. When I returned later, my new room was on the same floor, 4 doors down, looking out onto a walkway where people could see right into my room. Given that the hotel appeared to be practically empty, they could have at least placed me on a higher floor. The night concierge seemed annoyed when I inquired about the jacuzzi (which they said still worked), saying it would only be turned on by request till 10 pm, but said I could use it in the AM. The next day, there was no breakfast buffet set up like the day before, even though breakfast was included in the rate. I had to ask for something from the kitchen, so they brought some yogurt and granola, then charged it to my room. When I asked about the jacuzzi, the front desk laughed and said it would take “four hours” to heat up, at which point I’d be checked out. I said to please turn it on anyway;an hour later after several calls to the front desk, the jets still weren’t on. I tried to sunbathe but the construction noise from the pool was relentless. A total waste of money. Rude, unhelpful front desk staff. Stay elsewhere.

Cons: even though we were almost the only guests, we had a room (H) directly above the outside lounge area of ​​the staff. Between 5 and 7 o'clock we could not sleep because the staff made so much noise. there are also quiet rooms to the park. if the hotel is so empty, they could have given a quieter room to avoid this inconvenience. The CheckIn staff should know that this side of the hotel brings inconvenience for the guest. In addition, the air conditions are extremely loud and not individually adjustable.

Cons: You have ti pay additional 100MXN per night for your vehicle to park it inside the hotel. WIFI is very bad. The room was very noisy however, one of the receptionist was very kind and helpful and she changed the room.

Pros: The only good quality was the gentlemen at the front door. They were very friendly. The hotel entrance is very grand, but that is where it ends. The rooms are basic and not worth the cost per night.

Cons: We arrived to a room 2 doors down from one being painted so the room smelled like paint fumes. We’re given a different room for a “special” promotion for an extra 300 pesos a night. The room was extremely basic with laminate flooring lifting in places. The towels were stained and dirty as well as the pillowcase one one bed. The toilet was a separate room with no fan and had feces smeared on the wall. Hair on the floor that was not ours.

Pros: Great views of El Popo from our balcony. Stunning stained glass ceiling in entry. Large room with a comfortable king size bed.

MANAGER LOOKS RIGHT THRU YOU, OFFERS NOTHING IN THE WAY OF SERVICE, FRONT DESK HAVE NO SENSE OF COSTOMER SERVICE, VERY UNFRIENDLY, I GUESS THEY WERE TRAINED BY THE MANAGER. I HAD A ROOM WITH A VIEW OF A WALL, COULD NOT SEE ANYTHING ELSE BUT A WALL, HAVE THE PICS AS PROOF. IF YOU NEED ANYTHING IN THE WAY OF SEVICE FORGET IT, DO NOT LET THE BEAUTIFUL LOBBY FOOL YOU.
