I had numerous mosquito bites the next day, definitely wasn’t worth the price. Also no lifts, we had room on second floor & helpful receptionist carried our big suitcase up.

Cons: - Coffee and tea facilities for 5 euros. In 4* hotel, really? We asked for hot water and luckily it was surved to us for free. - Slippers - you should ask at the reception - Blanket (it was a bit cold in the room in the end of October) - you should ask at the reception (got the cover from another bed, not proper blanket but it warmed us) - shower in the morning was just slightly warm. At check out the receptionist told us we should've called her so that she could fix the pumping. But we were already in the shower.

You can easily walk everywhere, and the area is full of excellent bars and restaurants. The people at reception were extremely helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. Cons: The bed was not comfortable. The worst thing was the bed cover which was a woolen blanket uncovered in cotton sheets. I asked for a duvet (comforter) as all 3 star hotels have nowadays in civilised places. The receptionist did not understand and when I showed him one on the internet he said they did not have such thing. So I slept poorly with this 19th century itchy blanket on me. The heating did not work: only Air-con, which is meant for cooling but needed just in summer supposingly. There was no shower gel but bath foam - bizzare as we did not have a bath tub but a shower cabin...

I was concerned about the noise of the traffic that swirled around it in the day time but at night time there was barely any - it all dissapeared - and it was very quiet. It is within easy walking distance of the airport.

There's an old lady that doesn't speak English, and a younger man who does speak English. You can park your car in the street but it costs something like 10€ for 24 hours, so we parked our car in one of the free parkings outside town.

Cons: Our first two visits were fine but when we arrived for our last stay, only 3 days after the previous visit, we discovered that the air conditioning had been turned off for winter. it was still warm in Pisa and choosing a hotel with air con was an absolute key criteria for us. So the room was far too warm and too noisy with the window open. The main issue with this was that neither the hotel website or booking.com mention this fact. Both advertise this hotel as having air con with no indication that it is summer only.

Cons: Air conditioning wasn’t switched on throughout the hotel. Hotel room was baking like a sauna. Super uncomfortable and disgusting. We had to keep the window open for fresh air and cool breezes, but it was on the highway so we didn’t sleep all night. I would caution anyone staying here not to.

Location is great and close to the tower but be prepared to be awake at 6am or earlier with the vendors/car traffic outside making lots of noise. Also be prepared to drive around for a while looking for parking in designated areas and you also have to pay about 6 Euros to be able to self-park in town.

Cons: There is no iron in the room which is quite unexpected for a 4 star hotel. They have iron in a common place but the location is not convenient. If you want to extend your stay , you should inform them earlier. The staff don't seem to be interested to extend 1 night after 10 nights stay.

Pros: Timely shuttle service to airport - with 6 of us travelling, it worked out at €3.50 each
Cons: In one word: grim! Total rip-off and not worth the price - it would have been cheaper for us to have stayed an extra night in a 4 star hotel in Florence and gotten an early bus to Pisa airport instead of wasting our money on this place, just because of it's proximity to Pisa airport; totally dated decor and very basic room (the outside of the hotel looks far better than the inside!); staff weren't the friendliest; and while location is close to the airport, we saw other hotels that were closer. It's definitely not a good location for walking into the main attractions of Pisa, which means you'll end up paying about €15 for a taxi into the sights! Honestly, don't waste your money on this place.

Pros: The view from the room was spectacular. The hotel manager ordered pizza for us which was amazing. The breakfast was good with a lot of options. The parking spot was huge and safe.
Cons: Considering the price, I think the facilities could have been much better. The room didn't have an electric kettle. The options were limited for dinner in the restaurant. The taste was okaish but expensive. There were no complimentary water bottle which is really common in these "4 star" hotels.

Cons: The hotel hardly corresponds to a 3 star qualification, it´s far from the center and it should have a shuttle service to the center as many 3 and 4 stars hotels were I´ve stayed before, we have spent a fortune in taxi, some staff members were nice, others didn´t make any effort and treated guests in different ways (it´s curious because I have read the same comment in some reviews), the entrance of the hotel is nice but they use parfum sticks everywhere that rather smell awful and provoque headackes, the bedroom had lots of dust, the curtains were dirty and the windows as well (although daily room service was good), but there was a deep cleaning maintenance needed, the carpet in the corridor was old and dusty. The restaurant service was good, they served aperitivo after 18.00 with snacks and the staff was nice.

Pros: The staff are very welcoming, especially Georgio. The location is handy for the airport but unfortunately this time there were roadworks which added time to the journey. The airport taxi delivered us to and from the hotel so it wasn't a problem.
Cons: The hotel restaurant dinner wasn't the best Italian food I've tasted but the selection of snacks at the bar beforehand was excellent.

Cons: WIF did not work in room. TV did not work. Walls rather thin, hallway noise. Bathroom shower had mold.

Cons: We were told our breakfast was included when we checked in but to find out in the morning it wasn't. The head waiter was not very nice about the situation, he was a jerk.

Cons: It was advertised on booking.com that there was a pool and sun Loungers when we got there we were told that the pool was closed but this was not mentioned in the booking also when I said this to the staff they did not offer any kind of compensation and were very unhelpful even telling me that they didn’t have a manager for me to speak to, what kind of 5 star doesn’t have a manager? Overall place is run down not worth the money and the hotel was basically empty such a bad sign, wouldn’t recommend

Cons: I booked this place because it had a gym, which was decent. I also decided to splurge on a Junior Suite since I had two nights there. The room was definitely not the cleanest. There was still hair from a previous guest on the bed and on the floor, it was a bit tattered and the water situation was a bit strange. When you opened the faucet the water was like brown for a bit then it cleared up. Not sure if this is a Pisa thing? or if it was just a plumbing issue. I would have given this place an overall great rating but honestly the cleanliness thing really bothered me. I travel A LOT and rarely take my time to write reviews, but this place truly was a bit disappointing on this point. The staff was nice enough, the breakfast was 'ok'. I probably wouldn't recommend it if you are wanting to stay more than just one night. If you don't care about this kind of stuff then overall it was fine for the price. But you get what you pay for.

Cons: You had to cross a huge road and underpass to get to the centre, not as close as implied. Nothing about the hotel was five star, not the facilities or food or service.

Cons: The organisation of the breakfast fare is strange as it is placed far apart and somewhat disorientating. The milk is very strange in taste not to our liking. Also the bath water was a strange brown colour possibly due to the heavy rain the day we arrived.

Very very small shower, loose plumbing, long time to get hot water, shower head must have been installed by a moron, sink made strange noise. No electrical outlets in room. Small elevator. Shutters were hard to open. Small TV. Minimum storage space in room. Outside noise.

Cons: Poorly built, toilet and shower on top of each and the hole place gets soaked. No Air in the room and really hot and stuffy, can’t open windows for traffic and light so have to use shutter where it is pitch black and no air gets in. TV didn’t work, no tea making facilities. Expensive for what it is!

Cons: Room is very dated as well as the bathroom. We had a shelf right on top of our bed so when you try to lay down or get up from your bed you have to very careful not to band your head. No elevator so be ready to carry your luggage up the stairs. Breakfast was horrible!
