Hotel La Pace

Clean comfortable rooms, new bathrooms, big bed. Breakfast was very nice, good choice even had fresh honeycomb!! Short walk to the shopping high street which leads to Pisa Tower. Receptionists are very friendly and helpful and hotel is child friendly, play area at breakfast too!

Hotel is located in a shabby alley way, and very old fashioned reception

We have stayed at the Hotel La Pace at least 5 times through the years. We love the location, the staff and the rooms. Oh, and the breakfast buffet! This time, we got an amazing room we didn't expect, complete with balcony and a little extra bedroom. Would have been great if we were travelling with another person. I love it here and look forward to my next visit.

I wish they provided milk with the coffee and kettle in the room. But I haven't seen that in most hotels in Italy. I guess it is something not done here, to drink milk in coffee!

Great location and great staff

The location was very convenient to the train station, airport, and the historic sights of Pisa. Everything we wanted to see was in walking distance. The front desk staff was very friendly. We checked in late at night, and the front desk person was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Check out with other staff was the same. The room was clean and met our expectations.

The immediate block or two right around the hotel felt a little unsafe late at night, but the front desk staff was very helpful in recommending where to go and what areas were safe for walking at that time. During the day, the area did not feel unsafe.
