Cons: nothing ...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the best little hotel, we've stayed in. It was a pleasure to spend time here and relax. The staff are really helpful and the place is very clean and fairly new. The view from our room was amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better place! We'd love to come back again and spend more time touring around Umbria.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great property, one of the cleanest places I've ever seen! Lovely design, with much attention to detail. I particularly appreciated the lighting of the room, an aspect often neglected in most of the B&B's. Friendly hosts, excellent breakfast, both savory and sweet, with home-made cakes. Spectacular views of the valley and Assisi in the distance.
Cons: A bit of a walk to the city center (15 min), but worth it.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: good location to over see the whole city beautiful view and friendly stuff beyond my expectations I would definitely choose here again if i had another visit to Perugia

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was great with a beautiful view. Staff were extremely helpful and we felt really happy and welcome in the Reisdenza. Breakfast was really good too.
Cons: Crossing the road outside the Reisdenza could be scary although this is something that is beyond the control of the guest house. Otherwise brilliant.

Cons: Everything was ok...no complains

Pros: Breakfast was good quality and a good assortment. Cappuccinos were excellent! The room where breakfast was served was lovely! The room we stayed in was very clean, the bed quite comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. The view from our window was of a wall, but enough light still came in through our window to make our place bright. The location of Locanda was fantastic: right in the center of town. The staff was very helpful recommendations for dining and for making use of transportation options. We would definitely stay here again!
Cons: Our view from our window. But that wasn't a big deal as we weren't in our room much.
7.5 Good
Pros: We loved the location, it was extremely convenient and as we were coming with a car from Rome Airport we really appreciated having a parking spot (however for quite a pricey extra: 20 euros per day). Breakfast was lovely and with a lot of options and staff was always helpful and kind.
Cons: The room was quite expensive for what we got. Of course it was a prime hotel but in such a low season we would have expected at least a room with a decent view on a higher floor ;)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast in a wonderfull setting
Cons: Private parkingspace, a few hunderd meters from the hotel, is quite pricey, about €20 a day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly located in the heart of Perugia, my brother and I had an amazing stay at the Locanda della Posta. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and a nice view. The bathroom was perfectly clean and the shower very relaxing. Staff was exceptional, particularly Hamid who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, suggesting excellent restaurant addresses and places to visit. We will definitely recommend and come back again !

Pros: The property was lovely, the staff except for the bar tender were helpful. The front desk staff was very nice and gave us a beautiful upgraded room after the first nite but it was a bit of a hassle.
Cons: The property was filled with flies , everywhere. The food was mediocre ( except for the bread was exceptional) . The location was very remote , too remote. Had a facial , very mediocre, done on an uncomfortable table, needed a chair instead , no steam during facial, just a lot of cream . Nice woman but lacked ability.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderfully tranquil location overlooking the Umbrian hills, lots of character with a superb basement spa centre. The trapiste beer brewed onsite is delicious.
Cons: Can't really find fault, other than to mention the main house lighting is a little flat/dim. Mood lighting would really bring out the period features.. The spa/meditation areas are beautifully presented however.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was plentiful, with a good variety of Italian breakfast options. Scrambled eggs were tasty, with a variety of breads, pastries, butter and jams. Probably too much sweet options for our taste. A good variety of fresh fruit, both cut and whole, cereal, grains and seeds with yoghurt. Juices, tea and coffee. Room was spacious and the bed reasonably comfy. We loved the block-out blinds. The towels were thick and luxurious. Plenty of storage in the room, with a desk and chair. (A table lamp would have improved this even more) The air conditioning was unusual in that it seemed to blow cool air intermittently, comfy enough for sleeping. Reception was very helpful during our 5 night stay. The staff we met all spoke more English than our level of Italian, which was both helpful and useful. They booked a table for us at the Restaurant next door which has the same name, just a short walk away. The entrance is at the back of the property through the carpark. Don't be fooled by the exterior when you arrive. Once you pass the pot plants outside, it is stunning! You walk under a vine covered pergola onto a courtyard. We visited during summer and the dining area is through the villa and out into a beautiful walled garden, with tables and chairs under a cloth/timber canopy. The garden is lit and the ambience is divine, as is the service from the staff. Ate here 4 nights. There is plenty of parking both paid (garage) and out-doors. Access to the property from the street is very convenient with room to move. We parked outside, so cannot comment on maneuverability within the garage. There is a courtyard with tables, chairs and a couple of out-door sofas and umbrellas. This was a nice spot to have an aperitif/beer etc after a day of sightseeing. The bar staff deliver your drinks to the table with some complimentary snacks including olives, corn chips and nuts. We used the small gym, but not the outdoor pool.
Cons: The shower screen in our room was a folded screen that we have never seen nor encountered during our 20 or so Hotel stay across Austria, Italy and Budapest. It leaked across the bathroom floor. Just inconvenient and slippery.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Rooms style, nice, clean, beautyfull like hole hotel. Breakfast fantastic....Thank you ! Best hotel in our trip to italy. Road near by not disturbe att all.
Cons: No one bad word !
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great Breakfast
Cons: Noise from the surrounding area and traffic.
6.3 Good
Pros: Nothing special.
Cons: Almost everything about the dining room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Modern clean rooms
Cons: No issues at all
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The pool was well maintained and the staff very helpful
Cons: The cooked breakfast and coffee were luke warm at best. Didn’t appreciate not being able to iron my own clothes. Shower had periodic bursts of very hot water.

Pros: Breakfast was very good with a good choice. The location is ideal especially if you rent a car. Without a car might be a bit tricky as you need to walk in to reach the property if you do not take a taxi.
Cons: The room was very very small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting, surrounded by sunflowers and mountains, fantastic restaurant, traditional rustic design.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great pool and location with amazing scenery
Cons: Pool hours could be longer. Opening at 10am and closing at 7pm denies the experience of early morning or evening swims which would be wonderful
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful gardens and site. Lovely room with terrace and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant twice and the food is local, fresh and delicious! Breakfast was also very nice.
Cons: Nothing really.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Situated with a stunning view over sun flower fields. Lovely pool with levels. Rooms clean and had a castle-y feel about them. Good parking space. Wished we could stay longer. Will defenitely come back.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit short and the wait was a bit too long when we ate at the restaurant.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The place is very beautiful, peaceful. Staff very attentive. The hotel is close for visiting of Perugia, Assisi and Spello. Room and bathroom is spotless clean. Diner at the hotel restoring was both romantic and delicious.
Cons: The room for 2, 3 or 4 person is the same. You get the same room with less possibility to move in. I wasn’t impress with breakfast. From the one hand it has all list of 4 stars breakfast, from the other hand you expect from Relais to be more indulgent. The bakery part wasn’t tasty and didn’t feel very fresh. We have 2 vegetarians That was very unhappy that omelette served in the same dish with bacon. Frankly speaking we had better breakfasts during our trip.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast, great cappuccino, wonderful views, comfy beds!

7.1 Good
Pros: Lovely old building with chapel attached...we arrived quite early on a weekend and it was quiet and just out of season..we viewed the dining room and thought we were going to be the only ones there...discussed whether we were going to go out and find somewhere else..really pleased we didn’t as the restaurant filled with locals and their families...great food in a lovely atmosphere! Breakfast was also excellent...!
Cons: Rooms and decor was starting to look a little tired and was expensive comparable to some of the outstanding hotels we have stayed at over the last week which were considerably cheaper... Nice hotel but nothing super.....
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice and spacious room (Deluxe double) in a wonderfull historic building. Excellent restaurant. Tranquil setting in the woody area. Very helpfull staff. (organising golf trip) Location is great if you need to be in the area.
7.0 Good
Pros: Venue is really nice
Cons: The restaurant was closed!!! We couldn't eat lunch or dinner. I paid for b&b but it was stated that one could eat lunch or dinner at an extra cost, and we had to go out each night for dinner. It would have been better if they had informed us that restaurant would be closed during our dates.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: The toilets in the common areas were not always clean

Cons: The location is quite a way from the town and any kind of convenience store. Nearest is 1km away
5.8 Okay
Pros: male receptionist and barman very pleasant and helpful.
Cons: the proprietor attitude when we complained about the breakfast .... she started screaming at us. No milk for cereal, not enough brioche, we couldnt expect her to put out sliced bread or eggs if she had less than ten people in the hotel ...and so it went on .... in the end we demanded to pay so we could leave asap. We were also put in a room for disabled persons which would have been alright if we could have opened the bathroom window and if the shower head had sprayed efficiently!
7.9 Good
Cons: breakfast could be little more oriented on foreigners
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I won’t bore you with a plethora of superlatives but if you are looking for a place to stay in this region within a stones-throw of Assisi, Perugia, Spoleto, Gubbio and Spello, then stay here. Assisi is on the doorstep. The pool was empty, we had it to ourselves for three days. Good breakfast and coffee. Kind and helpful staff. Quiet at night. And brand new, everything is brand new. Come and see for yourself ❤️
7.9 Good
Pros: Very kind and helpful staff.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very clean hotel, with lovely swimmingpool in de garden. Staff is very helpfull, location is great: just next to the street that goes to Assisi (10min by car) and Perugia (30min by car), but also very quiet at night. Restaurants close by, we ate at PicNic 5 min from Campiglione and across the street from Picnic also an restaurat. Hotel dinner was very delicious. Room was very spacious, we had a family room. Free parking in front of the hotel. Very good olive oil, we bought 5L to take home.
Cons: Breakfast- many sweet choices, less savory
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were anticipated and warmly welcomed. It is convenient to Assisi and in a semi rural setting. We woke up to dogs barking and rosters crowing.

Pros: It is excellently located for visiting local places of interest and for access to Perugia airport. The pool looks great although wasn't open for use when we were there
Cons: My only complaint is that the air conditioning in the rooms didn't work very well, could be a problem in the hotter summer months

Pros: The view to Perugia
7.1 Good
Pros: Very welcoming & friendly owner. Views althought misty in the morning.
Cons: Up a very steep road which made it difficult as my car was fully packed. Arrived in the evening & didnt want to negotiate the road again in the dark to go to the nearest restaurant. Cons: Our room was on the ground floor and there was no way to connect to the WiFi. The internet there is just really bad. They gave us a sort of pocket thing to plug into the wall but even that was really bad. Couldn’t use my phone to get directions to restaurants or anything.

Pros: Everything was quite lovely. The facility, the aesthetic, the location, the room etc...
Cons: The one aspect we less pleased with was a couple of your staff. When we asked questions, for example what are some options for a day trip to Assisi? We gotta blank stare. Is there a train? “Maybe”. Do buses go there? “The bus station is down the hill”. What do you suggest? “A car”. I realize the person at the front desk is not a travel agent, but perhaps give us (customer/visitor) the feeling you are trying to be helpful or care. Secondly, we visited your bar about 5 times. Lovely spot. We had 2 bartenders that were young and not sure how to make a gin and tonic and vodka and soda. I have no problem with their inexperience. I do have a problem with the older bartender who took 15 minutes to take the order, then stopped to for 10 minutes to make a local fellow a cappuccino, restarted our order, then his shift ended at 7, the young bartender took over, and was confused. The older fellow looked at his phone for 5 minutes until I asked him if he could help the younger man. I’m a jazz musician and have played the Perugia Festival many times. I love your town. Perhaps I’m a pushy New Yorker, but I expect to have my drink in lass than 30 minutes when we’re the only people in your bar. I’m not trying to get any one in trouble, but you asked. Thank you.

Cons: The steam room needs fixing and is not hot enough for any of the guests
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We were upgraded which was lovely. The position of the hotel was superb.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Classy hotel takes one back to another century. Hosted many celebrities over the years including Charlie Chaplin, Anthony Hopkins and the Queen Mum.
Cons: Some of it looking a bit tired and worn. It’ll need some renovating soon.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Certainly the best view possible in town

7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel is situated very well. It is close to the main sights. The building was built in about 1300, the street is quite narrow. It impresses. Breakfast is normal. Rooms are clean, there's everything you may need. The guys and girls at the reception are very helpful. But my special thanks to Sabina, she gave me a lot of useful information and advice.
Cons: A very loud party in the neighboring building late in the night. I even had to change my room at 2 am to be able to sleep.
6.0 Good
Pros: Central location and helpful staff.
Cons: No WiFi available in room (contrary to what was advised when placing my booking). Heating system in bedroom was not always kept on.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is wonderful. Right in the center of the old town but in a very quiet part of it. The receptionist is amazingly helpful. All the staff are exceptional. There is a wonderful library and a rooftop terrace! The room was spacious and lovely. Great modern bathroom too! A great experience!
Cons: Everything was perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and the room.
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Right in the heart of Perugia but off the beaten Corso, this is a friendly and comfortable family hotel.
Cons: Room was too hot for my taste and the radiator would not turn off. Eco toilet paper - good; but all the breakfast jams were in individual plastic packs - not at all good and so unnecessary.
7.0 Good
Pros: Amazing location - perfect for exploring Perugia. Views across roof tops were great for getting a feel of the area from the bedroom. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Cons: Whilst the decor was interesting and created an unusual atmosphere, it was a bit dated in places. Bathroom could have been nicer and the bed wasn’t amazing.
7.9 Good
Pros: Kind and helpful staff, lovely location
Cons: Low sloping ceiling in our otherwise nice room

Cons: Refurbishing needed in rooms.

Pros: Location good
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent reception and room keeping personel
Cons: Need some maintenance on shower items. Better TV programming
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location was reasonable to access the old town and top of the hill views.
Cons: Unfortunately we were advised when we checked in that the restaurant would be closed for that night. Advise from front desk staff regarding eating places was quite useless. We then discovered that the hotel restaurant would not open at all during the whole of our 4 day stay. Buffet breakfast was passable but the service from the breakfast staff was non existent and the attitude was poor.
7.0 Good
Pros: Perfect Location by the metro, staff was really helpful and breakfast is very good, we were at the top floor having the most beautiful views of Perugia.
Cons: The bed was not so comfortable, and the hotel seems a little run down, needing refurbishment. Parking is not within the hotel as we've imagined but two blocks away, and at an additional charge.
5.8 Okay
Pros: It was clean and we we were granted an early check in
Cons: No coffee in the room,
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good. We loved that there was a selection of cheeses, sausages and vegetables (which you hardly ever see for breakfast in Italy). The rooms are large. The location is great a few minutes walk to the Old Town and restaurants. Good staff who are always happy to help. Coffee and tea in the lobby are also served late and at an affordable price.
Cons: Our room had a shower and the friends' rooms had a bath and their rooms were larger. I would expect to get the same room. We got a smaller room with a shower and we were the one who made the reservation. In addition, the shower need to be improved because there is no facility for laying soap and no hook to hang the towel is really uncomfortable

Pros: The Hotel is in the heart of Perugia, perfect location. Easy to travel by bus to the train station just a minute away. Clean and helpful staff. Easy to recommend this Hotel
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was outstanding, lots of food as options. Wide variety. The room itself, a family room was large enough for 4 people with 4 single beds. The hotel although older was very nice and the decor was interesting and made the hotel unique. The location is outstanding, so close to absolutely everything, a short walk to everything. The service was great from the desk to the breakfast area. Elevator in hotel. Ask for directions on how to get to the hotel easily off the quick tram as we ran into some issues and took a longer route using a map program.
Cons: No WIFI working the entire visit which was dissappointing. The room had very light comforters and if it had been colder we would have been cold. There was little ventilation in the room so we opened the window which helped because we found the room warm -but we are from Canada.
6.0 Good
Cons: TV set was more like a Computer monitor - out of proportion with size of room
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, enjoyable stay.
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was perfect; right in the centre of the old town. We had a superior room with a view of Piazza d'Italia and it had a nice newly done bathroom.
Cons: The hotel was more a 3 star than a 4 star. It is a lovely old building, but definitely needs refurbishing. Some of the furniture was in bad condition, there were stains on the walls in the corridors etc. The breakfast was not up to a 4 star standard, e.g. the coffee was bad and the eggs were cold.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was comfy although room was very hot with heating on lowest setting but enjoyable stay
Cons: Heating too hot
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The fantastic location ant the fact that I made an early check in.
