Great location, in the city center.
Location is great and safe. Staffs are friendly and provide a lot of information.
It have time limit for using the kitchen and refrigerator, so do not forget to take out ur personal things before the locked time.
All the other reviews tell you already, there is no Lift. There are stairs, and they are a circular and bit tight at points. We stayed in a family room ( 4 of us, 2 Adults, 2 kids ) up on the 4th floor ( room 412 ) i think. It was remodeled and had all kinds of drawers and shelves and USB ports. It was great. We later were moved to the 2nd floor, they kind of automatically do that, i think to reduce the stair count for people. But the room on the 4th floor was larger and had better shelving. They also have a large full size refrigerator at the base level where guests can store items. The staff is super friendly, they were very quick to help guests locate places on a map, or help suggest places to see. If you want to stay at a family run hotel with great warmth in the staff, stay here!
We happen to be there during the 95 degree heat wave and like most of paris, the hotel rooms had no Air conditioning. They did put two fans in the room help. Not much else could've been done. Once again it's a great property with a nice location.
The rooms and the location
They don’t have elevator and the stairs are difficult to go up with suitcases
The hotel overbooked for my first night and couldn't accommodate me, but they made arrangements with another hotel that was literally 1 min walking distance. I got a free breakfast next morning as an apology. - Set breakfast reasonably priced: a croissant, half baguette, butter, jam, orange juice and choice of coffee/tea/hot chocolate for 3.50EUR. - I had a room with shared toilet and bathroom, both were available every time I needed them, no queuing and clean. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. - The room very nice, fairly large (I think I booked a single room but got a double), had a wardrobe, desk, a sink, a fan. You get 2 keys, one for your room and one for the entrance door that is closed after 10pm (no reception). - I could leave my luggage at the reception after checking out for free. - The best thing is the location - I was walking to the Notre Dame, Louvre, St. Sulpice easily.
I can't really think of anything negative, it was just great for my trip.
