Overview

In the heart of the historic and business centre of Orleans, the Best Western Hotel d'Arc, Orleans, France, offers a warm welcome in an exceptional Art Deco setting, well placed for the restaurants, cinemas, theatres, convention centre, and shops, with the railway station and public transport close. The hotel pairs charm with comfort, its soundproofed rooms, light and spacious, with elegant Louis-Philippe furniture and themed decor, some with a balcony. The central setting keeps the old streets and the banks of the Loire within an easy stroll. Orleans is forever bound to Joan of Arc, who lifted the English siege here in 1429 and is still honoured each spring with the city's festivities, and its old centre of timbered houses runs down to the Loire near the upstream edge of the valley's chateaux country. Along the riverbank, the cathedral spires and the old quays recall the city's place in the nation's story.
