Car rental companies that offer shuttle or pick-up services from North Bend airport to off-airport locations include Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and Hertz.
Cons:There was no pick up after reserving a pick up
Pros:Pick up and drop off were very quick and easy. The staff at either end (this was one way) were excellent.
Cons:Truly there is no room for improvement, based on my experience. It's disappointing to see others' reviews to the contrary.
Cons:Damage to the passenger front hubcap was significant, but not noted. It took time to stand in line at Eugene and to have the damage documented so I wasn’t liable. Additionally a dedicated desk agent would have sped up the process
Pros:Friendly staff, clean and well maintained vehicle.
Pros:No one manning the counter when the first plane of the day arrived from Denver. How do you miss this? A tiny airport with 2 flights in daily. Hertz was there and very professional.
Cons:Someone actually manning the counter.
Cons:Made the reservation, showed up to rent the car, they did not have a car for us to rent. They can make a reservation, but they can not keep a reservation...
Pros:Horrible customer service. Nothing to like.
Cons:Reserved and received a confirmation number. Paid an uber to get us to the pickup location only to have a very rude young lady say they dont honor reservations made in the last 24 hours. Completely bad attitude, unapologetic for our wasted time and money and no real explanation given for any of it.
Pros:The staff was really friendly and polite
Cons:I wish I had received a larger car, since I'm tall.
Pros:Saved myself almost 300 dollars.
Cons:The fact wife did not have a car to use while on her visit.
Pros:I walked right up, no line. They had all my paperwork. Car was waiting in good condition. I was off the plane and in my car driving away in less than 15 mins. It's a small airport but the service was cheerful and good.
Pros:Clean, sporty. Could have used someone telling me how to open the trunk, turn on lights.
Pros:The staff at the airport were wonderful. The pickup and drop off was easy.
Cons:Calling on the phone to change the reservation was a hassle. I was charged ~$150 more for changing the reservation.
Pros:The car was cheap on gas, a newer model
Cons:The car rented to us had pre-existing damage resulted in body damage (no walk-around to check car condition) that we are currently trying to settle with claims. We were given the wrong information about who the primary renter and driver was. I purchased the rental and third party insurance through kayak.com, believing I was the renter and driver. At the pick up, we were informed we needed a credit card to place a deposit on the vehicle. I don't have a credit card, so the employee suggested using my girlfriends card--for a refundable deposit. Within minutes, i was handed keys and a receipt and pointed towards the parking lot to find my car. We were never told that she was now the renter and driver! This has become a problem since we initially tried to use the 3rd party insurance I purchased covering myself, but not my girlfriend, who unbeknownst to us was the renter. We discovered this very pertinent information on the drop off day, when I was told I couldn't drop off the vehicle since I was not the renter. Thoroughly confused, i asked the employee how this could be, "I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just following the rules." He told me. This same person was no where to be found when an incident report was to be filed as I dropped the keys and car. Had someone informed us that using a credit card secures the cardholder as the renter, this mentally taxing and time consuming mess could be avoided as i would have simply added myself as a driver. Perhaps a walk around could have been in order as well to identify the hanging bit of wheel well shell flashing that eventually came off of our car during the trip. I also wish kayak.com had offered hertz coverage first rather than 3rd party insurance. Hertz covers the damage, no questions asked, when their in-house insurance is purchased. Instead, I am working through a bureaucratic spiderweb of waiting for estimates, speaking with adjusters, spending hours explaining our predicament, feeling like a hoax trying to convince our short-stick situation, and ultimately waiting to be charged the full amount for preexisting damage, then reimbursed at some unspecified future time. This has been the worst experience I have ever had renting a car, bar-none. I hope hertz will hear out pleas, absorb the cost for damages, and let this mess be laid to rest.
Pros:All as expected--no surprises. I'd use them again

Pros:The staff was helpful. The drop-off was very easy.
Cons:I wish it didn't cost so much to add other drivers to the rental agreement. That made it much more stressful to have to do all the driving for a week.
Pros:Staff was very friendly, efficient and helpful. Pick up and drop off couldn’t have been any easier
Pros:Staff was friendly. Check out and in process was fast and easy. No issues with the car.
Pros:Friendly staff at drop off and pick up. Upgrade was appreciated. Vehicle worked well.
Cons:Would have preferred a more gas efficient vehicle for planned trip, pick up and drop off were different. We have rented where spouse is allowed to drive without additional expenses.
8.0 Very Good
Pros:Staff was helpful in the rental process. Location of the rental booth.
Cons:Not going out in the pouring rain with my elderly father after traveling all day...then waiting fir the guy next to our car to find first gear to move his car so we could get in ours again with our elderly father who was completely soaked by then.
Pros:The car pick-up at Eugene Municipal Airport (EUG) was very friendly. Especially, the young lady (Amber) at the Dollar Rent Counter at the airport was very helpful. She upgraded our car on our request with reasonable additional charge. This change made our long journey from Eugene, OR to Los Angeles, CA very comfortable.
Cons:Ref: Rental Record # 596198282; Vehicle: 2019 Chevrolet IMPALA License: CA 8JBG642 Car has in-built GPS, which was quite handy to go to different locations. But for a number new locations it didn't work as it was not updated. For example, it could not navigate us to some new locations in Folsom, CA. So we used our cellphone to drive to those locations. (GPS needs to be updated) The car drop-off was at LAX airport. We drop the car at the shown location. But it was difficult to locate the Dollar drop-off as there was no clear sign and we were in hurry to do it because the drop-off location was not in the airport. Shuttle takes the passenger from that location to the airport. We could see the Hetz sign only. However, on advised of the present staff we park the car at a location and left the car key inside the car as told. As per agreement, before handing over the car there, we filled the tank completely with the gas. The tank was full. (We wish if we could have some kind of written receipt for it. That the staff has taken the car in the same condition as it was handed to us. Gas tank is full, and we owe nothing.)
