I keep coming back!
I love The Jewel! I love the location. I love the lounge area. I love the quietness of the rooms. It is like being in a cocoon. You don’t hear street noice or hallway noice. I really like the availability of the water machine, so convenient! Beds are very comfy! It really is a Jewel! This is my third time to stay and I will come back.
When our room was cleaned they left 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels but only one wash cloth. We called down the next morning to request another one and never got it. When we came back that evening we requested it again. We didn’t receive it again. We requested it the 3 rd time and still never got the wash cloth. I had a scrubby with me & used a hand towel to wash my face. This is the only negative thing that has happened in three stays!!

Perfect location for attending wedding at Rockafeller Center, Showerhead was excellent, amenities of soap and lotion were very good quality
Comfort
The bed was horrible...not enough blankets either.
Great location
Location was awesome, steps away from Rockefeller center. Quiet at night. Staff were lovely.
Furniture was a bit worn. Beds were not full size.
Experienced a Tiny House for a night - How fun!
For a solo, environmentally-conscious traveler, it was fun to experience what it's like to live in 250sqft of room. Everything in the room was well-designed to fit all the conveniences of modern life into perfectly organized, perfectly sized furnitures and fixtures. The tiling, furniture, and appliances all felt modern and fresh.
My only 2 negative experiences during my stay were the thin walls and not-so-comfortable mattress. In all fairness, I sleep on a premium mattress at home, so the bar was quite high. But mattress aside, I wish there was more sound-proofing on the walls - particularly exterior walls and windows. The NYC night-time jack-hammers kept me up until 3am. Even my White Noise app on my phone couldn't drown it out. If you stay here, bring earplugs
overall pretty ok
Convenient location and reasonable pricing make this a good choice for a NYC weekend. The room was modern with all the needed items. Not really a negative but do note there is no lobby here, just a couple terminals to check in and one person to help you. So not a full service hotel but it was ok with us. Breakfast was typical american buffet for about average NY prices. We generally don't spend a lot of time in the room while in NY so this was good.
LOVED the purified water on our floor. Also, the Guest Closet on our floor was nice. Had extra coffee and an iron.
Loved the look and the value.
We loved the location.
Bed was a little hard for my husband, but I was comfortable
Location, friendly staff, room comfort. While the room initially seems small, it soon becomes much larger because it is so compact and carefully thought out. I marvelled at the eye pleasing decor and efficient design. It has the feel of a small European hotel. There's no wasted space in the room or in the lobby. The check in /out front desk measures 3 x 5 feet at most. Amazing!
I liked everything about the place.
loved the location, close proximity to the subway, free cold filtered water & water bottles, & the staff was great! This was a great hotel.
