The staff was exelent. The room was clean. The view we expected was the wall of another building. The room was small.

Summary of reviews
Guests say
Guests consistently praise the hotel's clean and spacious rooms, as well as its central location convenient to public transportation and local attractions. Many appreciated the modern renovations and amenities, including a gym and bar. However, several reviews mention issues with slow or crowded elevators, occasional staff unfriendliness, and a busy or less appealing street environment outside the hotel. Despite some concerns about safety and noise in the surrounding area, most found the rooms comfortable and the overall experience positive.AI-generated from customer reviews

Our room had obviously not been cleaned before our arrival (tons of dust) and they did not clean it at all after the first night! The shampoo dispenser was broken and there were no tissue papers. We told the front desk and they were really uninterested in fixing any of it!
Cons (-) The hotel just seems outdated. Needs a renovation and the lobby is super dark.
Pros (+) Good location
Cons (-) Really small towels Cleaned room at 8pm
Pros (+) Location was close to everything. Bed was comfilortable. Amd room was clean. I
Cons (-) When cleaning the entrance keep the closet room closed and do not leave mop and cleaning stuff unattended in the entrance. The front desks was unorganized. No welcome hello. Overall things did not look well organized. I would exoect the manager to keep an eye on all details. Very basic bedroom decor, no drawers for storage.
Pros (+) This is a nice hotel with small but well-designed rooms and a wonderful club lounge with views of downtown NY all the way up to the Empire State Building. It's a Sheraton and really fits comfortably within the Sheraton brand - so what you'd expect from a Sheraton is all there - plus the beautiful club lounge.
Cons (-) If you have to park, it's expensive. We didn't have to use their service as we stayed Saturday night and you can park in NY on Sunday.
Cons (-) This hotel has an attitude of over pricing everything, adding on fees including tips (that frankly aren't deserved) and having a staff that doesn't do much. When I checked out the man at the desk was flat out lying to the woman he had on the phone and when he hung up I said "Well she's going to be disappointed" and he smiled and laughed. That's what you're going to get here.
Pros (+) Second time staying here in 3 months. Love the location and quality. Able to check in early and check out late this trip, which really helped our itinerary (was rushing into town to go straight to my workshop, so it was nice to check in quickly and be able to put bags in room instead of leaving with concierge). Also was able to upgrade to a king bed since my boyfriend came down with me last minute...
Cons (-) No fridge in room. Definitely a business feel to hotel, but didn't really make a difference to me. In fact, I chose the Sheraton bc in NYC hotels can vary widely and I found that chain hotels give a good consistent experience no matter the location.
