I don't know what those other reviews were going on about. Yes, it's a 2 star hotel, but holy moly is it a clean, safe, well maintained, bang for your buck 2 star hotel. They're clearly working on improving this old building to be a new gem. The bathroom was shining clean, the beds large and comfortable. Pros (+) Good location, not bad to save you some pennies. Staff was decent enough to try and help fix anything you had an issue with
Cons (-) Small Room, got excited with the shower with all the jet to find they were nonfunctional. Same weird sheets day after day. You have to pay for wifi and you only can use on one device and it was in and out. Photos misleading.

Pros (+) The staff was perfect, helpful, nice, professional, and really went the extra mile to help you where they could. The location was also really good, about 4 blocks from times square.
Cons (-) Not what was shown online. Went to use the shower and the knob fell off instantly, we didn't start off very well. The whole place seemed like it need new everything. The beds were worse than the 20 year old pullouts your aunt Charline has when you visit the dirty south once a year! I would not recommend more than a few nights and only if you want to save that extra penny!
