The hotel is well located close to the theater district, subways, restaurants, etc. Although the rooms are small, they are well appointed and comfortable. The staff is responsive and professional. The breakfast service is quite good and managed well. I had one problem with the toilette and I requested repair. It was a minor issue, but although it may have been addressed, the problem was not fixed in a more permanent fashion. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel.
Pros:The location was good for Times Square. Walking distance to subway.
Cons:Room was extremely small. Dining area small and very crowded with not enough food out at one time. Not enough staff which made for longer wait times at the front desk. Elevator very slow.
Pros:Rooms are small (to be expected in NYC) but comfortable, and clean. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The hot breakfast was very good, and there was a good variety of things from which to choose. It is located in close proximity of Times Square action, but just far enough off the beat and path for it to be quiet and a break from the hustle and bustle.
Pros:Clean and comfortable with helpful and efficient staff. Good value for the money. Elevators are tiny and slow and are shared with housekeeping. Plan time for trips up and down to your room accordingly. If you haven't been to NYC, rooms will seem small, but by NYC standards they are not.
Pros:The staff was incredibly friendly and motivated to make the stay at their hotel pleasant. The hotel and my room were both super clean. When I had a problem with my reservation, the woman at the front desk said she would send me a voucher for a free night. That was truly decent of her, but I honestly would have been happier with getting the room I booked.
Cons:I specifically sought a king size bed and stopped in at the hotel a few days before my stay to make sure I was getting the room I booked. I also asked not to be near the elevator bc I needed quiet. I was coming in late from work and had to be back early. So when I opened the door to my room, which was right next to the elevator, and saw two queen beds, I was not happy. I really wanted to sprawl out in a big bed, even though I am short. Also, the shower was way too small. This is the second time in a month that a Hilton property (the other was a Doubletree) has downgraded my reservation. I'm a Hilton Honors member -- now I'm wondering if that's code for "abuse this guest."
Pros:Good location. Room is clean.
