The bed was a good size and comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional. The complimentary breakfast had several good and healthy options.
The shower stall was extremely tiny. Only one regular elevator was working at the time and it tended to be slow and crowded. Sometimes the freight elevator would show up but leave you behind if you didn't notice it right away. While waiting for the elevator there would be an extreme draft which made you feel like you were standing outside in the NYC December cold.
Recommend this hotel
- Friendly and helpful staff - Small but clean room, comfortable bed - Well-appointed and nice ambiance - Within easy walking distance of Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, Times Square, Empire State Building, Grand Central Station, and other midtown sights, as well as shopping and good restaurants
Disappointed that the rooftop garden was closed for renovation
Nice location. Room was small, but clean and updated. Hotel itself is a bit dated and doudy.
