I booked a king suite and was switched to 2 double beds. When I asked to be put in a king room I was told that because I arrived late that was the only room they had. It was miserable!!!! They just put you in whatever room they want regardless of what you book. Very dissatisfied!!!!!
The location was ok
It was very dated. They were renovating at the time
There was no indication of renovations taking place on the booking.com website. I was given a room that had the floor molding ripped from the wall. There was gravel and debris on the floor. I have two small children ages 2 and 1 and this is horrifying that a facility would have family stay in a room like this. Additionally, the room was filthy. A few examples include: dirt in the bath tub, stained walls, dirt on all of the woodwork (closet doors), small hair pins in the closet (choke hazard for kids) and The fridge had food/drink stains. In the context of renovations, they began their hammering and construction work at 645AM!!! It was insane.
The staff was friendly and accommodating despite the reviews I read prior to check in.
I was overcharged and had to wait until check out to be reimbursed for the over charges. The construction wasn't as bad as I expected because we actually went to bed at a decent hour so the hammering at 8 am didn't frustrate me as much as it would if I had been up all night.
The breakfast was good, except for the days, the coffee was late, because the "truck" was late. The location was not good for me. It was next the Harrah's and there was loud music late at night.
I asked for a wake up call each day I was there, and never received one. Was late for my conference twice. On the last night, the manager was there, and assured me she would personally call me at 2 am which she did! I had to leave by 4 am. While looking for something I lost under the soda/bed, I found a bunch of Teddy graham cookies. I left them by the side of the sofa. They were not vacuumed up until the 3rd day. I was told vacuuming is only done on certain days, unless the guest requests it. Seriously? They were in plain sight and I kept having to step over them. I will not stay at that place again.
