The breakfast was good with plenty of varieties and value for money. If you plan to book this hotel within this year, try to book a room with centennial breakfast for $100 (Japanese Yen) for each guest, because Hilton Hotel is celebrating their 100th anniversary. The location is fairly convenient. If you go from (going to ) the airport to/from the hotel, I would advise you to take the airport shuttle bus as it stops right at the hotel, though it runs hourly per bus. If you take train, it is advisable to go directly to Central Train station and then call a taxi. Do not take subway if you carry heavy luggage. Though it is closed to the hotel, yet you need to walk about at least 15 mins from the subway station to the hotel. Furthermore, you need to find the right exit closer to the hotel.

Cons: Parking was not included and very expensive. The floor we were staying on and our bedroom had this lingering stale smell in the air. The bathroom shampoo and soap was unpleasant and the “spa” or Japanese style bath was perhaps the worst I’ve ever been to.

Cons: I ONLY have two slight negatives. One is that the location isn't ideal for those using public transport. If one is hauling a couple suitcases, it's probably too far from the main train station to walk, and riding the subway one stop goes a bit too far and requires a few blocks walk back--the closest exit from the closest subway station is the farthest from the platform and requires climbing the stairs. The second slight negative is the price, it's a little high but then if you appreciate the service, cleanliness and size of the rooms, it's not bad.

Cons: I did not like that I book a room for me, my husband and my child (3 years old) and I've got a very tiny room with a queen double bed. We slept uncomfortable by lack of space. We booked another room for another adult travelling with us and his "single" room was exactly the same that ours, except that he's was cheaper.

Cons: Booked alone, and added and paid another guest, (my friend from AU) we were supposed to leave Nagoya for Fukuoka together but decided to stay in one hotel (Princess Garden Hotel) we had to leave for Fukuoka early and did not use the extra night, I asked that the additional person to be refunded to me, the staff either did not understand my request, or ignored it.

Cons: There are smoking rooms..and yet there is still a special smoking area in the lobby area for smokers. It smelt like smoke when we arrived. Room smelt like smoke too. Perhaps it’s the design but the sink looked dubious with red stains on it, especially if you compare it with the tub and the toilet bowls that did not have such stains at all. Choice of colours could be better improved on to provide a more comfortable experience.

Cons: I have been staying with Mystays hotels since I've been in Japan the last month. However this particular hotel has failed miserably. The whole duration I stayed here I kept the do not disturb sign on the door as usual, this morning before I left I made the bed myself and cleaned the room and turned the lights off then left. How ever when I returned this evening I came back to a room with all of my bedding ripped of my bed and the pillow cases of my pillows and all sitting in a chair as if they left my room in the middle of cleaning it. I specifically said for no one to disturb my room. I am disgusted by the staff that they chose to enter the room when I stated I didn't want any one in and the fact they dissassembled my bed and didn't have the courtesy to fix it. This is my worst experience I have had with any hotel in my entire life. I feel as if my money was stolen from me, being charged the night fee just to have this happen. Completely unacceptable.

Pros: Good service, no problems with the check-in or check-out and the staff were very friendly. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and the location is very central! I recommend it for a weekend stay in Nagoya.
Cons: The room size was okay for us because we were just staying for a night, but for someone who is staying for longer and traveling with big suitcases it might be small. Then again, so are most hotel rooms in Japan.

Cons: VERY noisy. Main Street right out the front. And exceptionally noisy from some rooms. The room we had was also located next to lift and kept us awake all night. Very small rooms at this hotel. No cups, spoons or bowls supplied. Staff try hard but not a lot of English spoken or understood. Beds were medium hard and pillows were rock hard.

Cons: We booked a room for three people, and chose a room with two queen beds and one sofa bed. When only the beds were made up, I asked for some sheets and quilt for the sofa, but they refused to provide anything. No apologies; just very clear “no”.
