Old Montreal Chic, Charm and Convience
Location was perfect for all things in Old Town Montreal; hotel itself was upscale without being pretentious, staff is AMAZING and the room was cozy and spacious. The bed was so comfortable and bathroom was like being at a resort. Adjacent to the cathedral, a 5 minute walk to the metro, 3 blocks away from Rue Saint-Paul and a 15 minute ride to shopping and local nightlife on Rue Sainte-Catherine. If you choose to stay in for the evening, 2 top-notch restaurants, plus a rooftop bar with an excellent view of Montreal. This hotel does it right.
Great location and staff was friendly and attentive to our requests.
The "perks" of staying at the hotel has diminished since we were last there - which was about a year ago. There were complimentary drinks and light snacks for our entire stay last time. Just one complimentary drink this time.
very attentive staff especially at the reception desk.bar/resturant very lively with excellent food and drinks.
Lovely building and room. Food and music was great.
Hard to find the location. Was put on hold several times when calling on cell phone to find hotel.
We were greeted very warmly by counter staff and was checked in quickly and efficiently. Valet parking was also taken care of quickly upon check-in and check-out. The complimentary welcome drinks were a nice touch.
The canadian breakfast is excellent, the location in the old town
The rooms are really dark, the room was cleaned poorly
The room is very comfortable. Staffs are very friendly.
The breakfast is so so.
we enjoyed the welcome wine and cheese, the morning breakfast, the terrace and watching the fireworks, the beautiful suite, the chocolates, the car parking service, the fine soaps, shampoos, etc, the music playing int he room when we arrived, the disco music in th evening in 701
the room numbering was a bit strange, we had to walk through what looked to be a service corridor to get to the elevator to our room...I think that we should have been asked whether or not we wanted a staff member to enter our room in our absence to turn down the bed.one of the internets was out of service
Excellent location in the old town of Montreal, able to walk everywhere.Large , comfortable room, good complimentary breakfast and cheese and wine offered in the evening. Would most certainly recommend this hotel. Staff were very helpful.
Room was a little dark, lights were needed at all times.
Attended to our questions quickly.
Called down for room service menu's that were missing from our room, unfortunately,we never received them.
This hotel was one of the loveliest travel experiences I've ever had, and I've been all around the world. The hotel is gorgeous - the restaurants, spa, and especially bedroom were first class. The staff was beyond friendly, and helped with everything from booking reservations at restaurants, to scheduling hair appointments, to taking my sister to the emergency room when she got sick. Five stars
