Pros: My husband and I travel to Monterey frequently as we got married in Carmel Valley and love the area. We’ve never stayed at the Pacific Inn, but after staying here, would 100% come back! It was such a great value and was only a $12 Uber trip to Cannery Row. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Would highly recommend this property to friends and family for the future.

The only reason why I chose Motel 6 was so I could bring my dogs and they are the only ones that allow pets in that area but being so pet friendly you would think there would be an area on the or around the property where pets could go to the restroom and there wasn’t the same patch of fake grass in the front has a sign that says no dogs on grass so that’s a bummer.

Pros: A nice small place at a convenient location. The rooms were surprisingly clean and everything was as expected. Checking in and out was easy and fast and the staff nice. The joint table at breakfast connects travelers, which is nice as well.

Cons: We were very disappointed with the cleaning service. Right after checking in we found several greasy hand marks on the wooden panel above the bed (see pictures) as well as cup rings on the night stand. On the second day we also noticed there was a whole nail sticked to the carpet. Also, the wall in the shower area was full of hair attached to it and looked as if it had never been cleaned. The AC system was way too noisy during the night. The fridge also seemed to make some loud cracking noise every hour or so.
