I loved how the room was clean and beautiful, the location is also amazing and the price of the room for one night was so cheap! Will definitely revisit and stay there again !

Attention to detail. This is not a new hotel. It would be impossible to have mature bougainvilleas and other landscape touches that add to a warm inviting feel as you come onto the property. Our room was quiet, very clean, appeared to have been recently and thoughtfully remodeled and ample in size. The bed was super comfortable and did not squeak. The sheets shouted clean, crisp and white. There were a variety of usable and decorative pillows. The furnishings were more quality than volume. All of the electronics and electrical fittings, lights and outlets worked including USB charging outlets. There was a large flatscreen TV easily viewed from bed (proper height). The microwave and fridge were purposefully and unobtrusively located to not take away from the warm atmosphere of the bedroom. The bathroom had been remodeled. Granite full sized sink top and shower walls, tile work, upgraded toilet mechanical fittings, variable stream shower head, night light and a quiet fan were accompanied by a few artistic personal touches. My wife loved the hot bath. Staff was attentive. Breakfast was well organized.

Facility is limited by age, size and style of original construction but there has been a concerted effort to update the feel and use of every square foot of space and all of it gives the sense of manicure. Breakfast area was limited but hotel policy clearly indicated that you were welcome to take food to your room on trays that were provided. Check in policy may not have clearly indicated that they did not allow check in after midnight until we had committed to booking and that there is an additional fee for checking in after 10pm. We had been traveling since 3am east coast time and did not arrive until 9:30pm local time. It added a bit of stress. Had I seen the restriction I may not have booked but in retrospect I am sort of glad I missed it otherwise I may have ended up in a perfectly adequate yet totally unappealing hotel room similar to the one we are in now 150 miles south along the California coast. Both hotels showed a rating of 8+ but there is little else to compare other than clean sheets. Tonight’s hotel is drab, dreary, mundane, cookie cutter with no personal touches. Fridge sits in the middle of the room next to the undersized TV that is so low you can’t watch it while in bed.
